Amora smiled at her husbands words nodding. He was right, there was no cause for worry tonight and this would be a good night for them all. Still smiling she waved at her son arriving glad to see her boys were not only coming but dressed in something other then their usual training leathers.
Harr felt like he was sweating in the tux his mother had sent for him to wear to the ball. He adjusted the tie so much it was wrinkled. He moved inside the doors of the ball room thanking the guards whom opened the door he was looking down at the floor but when he looked up he noticed all the gold in the room and smiled. Everything seemed quite perfect and he stopped fiddling with his tie. He waved to his mother and father before going to stand where Magni and Lif where.
Thor chuckled at his sons teasing his wife and he pressed a kiss to the top of her head before The Collector came towards them. His body tensed up only because of all the rumors of him working with Sven and The Maker but he himself had no shown cause for any harm towards them. He nodded his head as he bowed and was glad he left them and he turned his gaze to look down at his wife. "Nothing to be worried about he is just a tad insane." he smiled at his wife and waved a hand around them. "Plus we have a Ball to host tonight." he grinned at her.
Amora was still sporting a smile when not one but two of her sons decided to arrive as she wished but tease about her affinity for the gold in the room. She watched then with a smile until Taneleer approached, her steady green eyes on him as he spoke, pressing a kiss to her hand. When he released it she slid her hand through her husbands arm and watched Taneleer bow before taking off after a tray of drinks. Turning her eyes up to her husband again she pursed her lips, "Great chatter?" she murmured wondering if they had cause to be concerned.
Taneleer Tivan had unique ties to Asgard's King and Queen both. He was held up at the doors by guards before being allowed in. He ignored the brushing their hands off him and walking towards the King and Queen chin held high but a smile in place. He moved in front of the Queen first and he spoke. "Queen Amora so lovely for you to toss a party and invite me." He took her hand and pressed a kiss to it before he let it go and looked to Thor and he bowed to him. "King Thor I hear great chatter in Asgard." his eyes moved to a girl carrying champagne and he quickly chased after her for a drink.
Life adjusted his tie so it was loose on him it felt much to tight on him. As he was walking into the ball room he was amazed at his mother's hard work he knew his sisters had to of helped here mostly Asa because Herdis liked training then looking at fancy china ware and fabrics. He spotted his parents and he moved to kiss his mother's cheek before he shook his father's hand and he snagged a ale on the way over to where Magni was.
"Champagne?" he eyed his brother's glass and looked around. "Where is your purse?" he chuckled and nudged his brother with his elbow looking around the place. "Mom likes gold doesn't she?" he chuckled more to himself.
Magni was dressed in a tux thanks to one his mother left out. He had invited Mel to the party and he hoped to see her tonight. This was one of the reasons he was coming that and his mother would give him a chewing out if he was the only Thor-Son not in attendance. He walked through the doors and smiled at his mother before he picked up a glass of champagne and he moved towards his parents.
"I told you I would be here mom." he winked at her before he moved to give her a one armed hug and to shake his father's hand. "I know you two have loads of mingling to do. Oh and mom. I don't know if there is another gold around." he chuckled teasing before he moved out of the way so she couldn't slap him.
Amora chuckled a knowing glance leveled up at her husband before she shook her head, "Nope not today, maybe tomorrow," she added with a little smirk as she turned to watch him reading a card. She peeked at the thick paper and smiled, "Well Id imagine a club of fighters would appreciate some of our Ale.... it would even get the largest f them drunk," she pointed out. As if on cue music started to fill the hall and she beamed, "And everything is right on time, and running smoothly."
Thor grinned wide when his wife pressed a kiss to his jaw and he chuckled. "Don't want to stand on a chair to be as tall as me today?" he joked as a basket arrived from Club Scarab and he picked up the card to read it and he smiled showing his wife. "We should send them something back." he told her and he pressed a kiss to her forehead before he looked around the ball room once more.
Amora had been working hard on the hall, wanting everything to be perfect. She loved any excuse to gather her family and friends around close. Reasons to party were ones her family enjoyed and sharing that with everyone else gave her a deep pleasure, ensuring people enjoyed themselves when they came to her home was important to her. So she triple checked more then once the details of decorating and even after she dressed she came back to ensure every detail was perfect.
Because she was fiddling with ribbons and bows she didn't hear her husband approach behind her but she did smile at his embrace, relaxing back against him as he spoke. With a grin she turned her cheek to look up at him, "You know me I want to ensure everything stays perfect for everyone when they arrive." Still smiling she pushed up onto her toes so she could press a kiss of her own to his cheek though it landed lower on his jaw.
Thor knew his wife was working extra hard on getting everything just perfect for the Yggdrasil Christmas Ball. Amora always loved getting all the family and friends together on any occasion but Thor loved Christmas time most of all because it was the season for giving and Thor loved to give.
As he entered the ball room he looked around at all the gold and smiled and noticed his wife near the large tree fussing over the garland and he came up behind her his arms coming around her and his chin resting on her shoulder and he whispered in her ear squeezing her to his chest. "Stop fussing everything is perfect and amazing my love." he pressed a kiss to her cheek and he smiled.
