OOC: PLEASE NOTE that this blog party is set as a Christmas Party, and while one night in RP time will be up till the end of the Holiday so everyone has a chance to join in. Also no drama or you will be removed and blocked.
The christmas spirits send from Yggdrasil were calling to Galatea and the goddess couldn't resist, despite of her own christmas preparations in Hy-Brasil. She wasn't sure how many of her children would find time to come around for a visit, but she hoped that she woud find for her family.
Such thoughts were pushed to the back of her mind when she entered the room and found it spledidly decorated and filled with many familar faces. She gave everyone a bright smile and a small wave. Just big enough not to drop a few presents she had gathered up in her arms for the children who might attend the celebration.
Solstice walked in with Malachi. Her Gown hide the mudium size bump of her twin girls as she went to Greet both Amora and Thor .she smiled and thanked them for the invitation.. " this absolutely beautiful Amora and Thor. " she walked off with Malachi as she smiled and nodded to everyone.
With wide eyes she followed the rest of the family as they walked to the Ball. This all was so new and all this sparkling lights. Beautiful music reached her ear. Overwhelmed by everything she stumpled into the ball room . Her eyes widen by all the beauty she saw.
Rapunzel had never been to a Christmas ball before her husband Ian and their friends and family told them all it. She was excited to dress up and go to a holiday ball with her husband. Getting ready with her husband. And rubbing her pregnant belly. "I am so excited I never been to a ball before I am very excited to see all the pretty Christmas decorations." She giggles to her husband.
Lok had splurged on a new pair of shoes for this party. They were nice and comfortable but even more cooler, they glowed in the dark when he walked. Every step that he took was reason for a big silly grin. Lok tugged on his wifey's hand, urging her to hurry along in her waddling pregnant walk, "You'll see when the music starts and everyone dances, I'll be the one they're all looking at. I have Happy feet!!", he grinned wide.
In emphasis of his vain boast, Lok danced around Bray, spinning, hopping, and shuffling. The ground lit up beneath his feet like an animated concert. The rest of his clothing was rather plain looking in comparison, but stylish for a man. it was his shoes that he wanted to show off. They arrived at the Yggdrasin party and walked in together. Immediately, Lok felt like the star attraction as the crossed the room. His fancy shoes blinked an array of colors like a Christmas tree. When he felt all eyes were upon him, Lok did a little dance with his Happy Feet.
Seven arrived at the celebration with Luna and others from his family but left them to go and find his hosts. He placed a large basket of flowers, foods and ales from around Blackthorn and Camelot as a Christmas gift to Thor, Amora and their family. Taking a drink from a passing tray he smiled at various guests. Finally he saw the couple and walked over treating them "Amora, Thor, it's quite the party you have here!"
In contrast to her usual black garments, Nyghtwolfe decided to dress festive for the occasion, sporting a sleek red dress with lots of ruffles and a bright red hair ribbon as if she were a present to be unwrapped. She walked daintily into the ballroom and gave a lingering long look around at all the other people, mostly friends, that had arrived before her. She waved at those she knew and smiled at those she didn't know as Nyghtwolfe made her way to the hostess, Amora and her best beloved friend for a welcoming hug. She laughed teasingly, "If you see any available dance partners lurking around, hey could you give them a nudge my way.", Nyghtwolfe snickered, "I'm here to get fancy-free, footloose and cut up your rug."
She curtsied to Thor and gave him a confidant smile, "It's always a pleasure, m'Lord to see you. I do hope at some later time this fine evening, I may share a dance ... with your wife's permission, if I may."
Nyghtwolfe gave a sultry wink to Amora, "I promise to behave myself."
Callia and Rena had readied for the party together and split off as soon as thy arrived. Callia sporting long dark curls wore a bright dress and her sister with sleek golden locks donned black looking completely different but complimenting one another. Still Rena was in a mood, likely due to something Ragnar related and so she took off for drinks. Callia less inclined to indulge looked for a quiet spot and seeing she could choose between a brood of her cousins or just one alone she walked around milling people moving to stand beside Herdis, nudging her with her elbow, "You took the best hiding spot."
It didn't take Serena too long to get ready but she was a bit nervous going to a party by herself. Once she got there and saw all of the people mingling and the beautiful decorations and arrangements, her fears melted away. In the distance she saw Amora and Thor and made her way over to them to thank them for inviting her to such a beautiful party.
Keeley had walked in with Gage as now days she needed his help. Her belly was swollen with the girth of her baby's. She had one of the maids help her dress as she couldn't see her feet .most days she didn't match when it came to her shoes. But tonight she looked elegant in her her green gown with matching shall and her black heels. Gage escorted her in as the stopped by their host and gave them the gift and the Blood wine.

She followed Gage to the dance floor and started to dance with - she smiled- yes my love it looks wonderful here. They did an excellent job. The Music is great. I could dance with you all night.
Viola had not planned on going to the Christmas ball. For the most part she was avoiding large crowds since she had returned home and with good reason though she couldn't really talk about why. Still she loved this time of year and it was easy to lose yourself in a crowd of dancers and people getting tipsy off the ale. So she dressed for the affair and walked in wondering it she might see Floki while there though she didnt say anything to anyone about it, least of all her sister who was in a horrid mood lately, more so then her usual sulk. Still she enjoyed the look of the hall and it made her very glad she had braved coming.
Gage and Keeley arrived with a case of blood wine. Flowers for the hostess Amora. Also a roast wild boar as a gift to their norse friends. Gage walked up to the bar and handed the bartender the case of wine. Gage asked the bartender for a glass of blood wine. The wine was served to both he and Keeley. Gage and Keeley walked up to Amora. They handed her a dozen long stemmed pink roses as a sign of great friendship.
Gage approached Thor. "Hello my friend, I have brought you a roast wild boar as a sign of good friendship between our kingdoms. Gage raised his glass to he and Amora. Heres to the Black kingdom and The Yggdrasil Kingdom may they live long. Gage then took Keeley out onto the dance floor. He danced a waltz with her. Gage was impressed by the beautiful decor in the ballroom. "Thor and Amora really put on a great Party Keeley, don't you think?
Melinoe had planned on attending the Christmas ball the second Magni had invited her. It wasnt a had call any excuse to see him she was happy to take now. So she dressed for the occasion, her colored hair pulled back from her faces so her due gem like eyes could scan the hall. She didnt go right up to the king and queen to greet them, knowing she would rudely just be looking around for their son anyway. So instead she sought out Magni first, her grin wide when she spotted him in a group with some of his brothers.
Herdis plucked at her dress with her fingertips as she braced herself to step into the hall earlier in the day she had helped her mother with. She didnt want to and got out of it as quickly as possible but she had put in her time. Now she breezed into the room looking around. Giving a little wave to her parents she made sure to go in the opposite direction so she couldn't be asked to stay for any longer then she managed to pretend to be jovial with the holiday season. She could see her brothers clustered around and instead went for some solitude on the opposite side of a large very gold tree on the other side of the large room.
