OOC: PLEASE NOTE that this blog party is set as Halloween day so it will be Halloween the whole month of October so everyone has a chance to party it up. Also no drama or you will be removed and blocked.
It had been far too long since Bray had spent any time with her wonderful friend, Amora. Since hearing the news of the Halloween party, she had been excited to finally get to see her again. Bray knew Lok would be like a kid in a candy store. Him and his devilish ways. A soft laugh escaped her lips as she put the finishing touches on her minimal facepaint and quickly dressed in her scarecrow outfit.
Thirsty, she walked to the kitchen then stopped hearing her husband call her. She made her way to the sound of his voice then jumped with a laugh. "Fire eyes? That looks amazing baby!" Bray ran her fingers over his pumpkin textured face then kissed his cheek. She caught a glimpse over his shoulder at the bathroom counter and what mess had been made. Her nose wrinkled seeing the head of her husband sitting in the sink surrounded by the guts and glory of a pumpkin. "I'm definitely not cleaning that up..." She mumbled then tapped her broomstick to the floor. "I am ready whenever you are lovebug. Just need shoes!"
She was excited and skipped to the sofa to sit and hook her shoes on. Blonde locks fell over her shoulders and tickled her knees. Standing swiftly, she tapped her shoes on the floor then took Loks hand as they set off for the party.
The decor was royal; elegant and astonishing. She saw a few faces she recognized and smiled saying her hellos. Seeing her mother and brother in law, Braylin smiled and hugged Nyghtwolfe in greeting then waved to Apollo as Lok teased with his illuminating eyes. She looked around admiring all the scary treats and hoped none of the spider decorations were real.
Apollo felt his cheeks blushing red every time he gave hungry eyes to his gypsy queen. He had indeed pampered her gently during her pregnancy but now she was beyond ravishing, and he fought self control to not maul her right then and there with his lustful affections. Esmeralda would not escape a frequent hand pat on the shapely roundness of her arse, just below the frilly hem of her skirt. Whenever he walked behind her, the prince of wolves gave her a naughty pat on the behind and growled with a upward quiver of his lips, "Raaaawrl baby. You're so groovy!"
Apollo now had second thoughts about his costume. He felt like the Big Bad Wolf prowling his wife's sexy backside, and yet he knew better to not get too carried away with the lewd public flirtation, or else she might give him a well deserved slap. For this reason, he kept the fanny patting low key, making sure that not many eyes were gawking at him, or showing open contempt for his misbehavior. He whispered his thoughts to Es, "I should've dressed more like the Big Bad Wolf. Raaaaawrl! Damn me for not thinking of it sooner."
At her suggestion to meet the host and hostess of the party, Apollo nodded and mosied on beside Es to where Thor and Amora were entertaining themselves in each other's company. Apollo cleared his throat and, with one hand upon his stomach and the other hand uniformly behind his back, he bowed low at the waist with all the respects of a well mannered Prince.
Apollo had a handsome smile. His golden eyes twinkled with inner happiness.
"Greetings yonder thy lady Queen and thy lord King of Asgard. Hail and good tidings to you. I want to thank you for assembling this mighty fine Halloween party and for inviting us to partake in the festivities. I am Apollo, third eldest son of Misos and Nyghtwolfe Orcus... and this is my dashingly groovy wife, Esmeralda. It is my greatest pleasure to meet you both. I look forwards to frolicing in dance and gorging on the spectacular array of foods you've provided."
Just as other women fuss to look just right for whatever they are endeavouring to do, Esmeralda fit herself into a becoming harlequin costume. She sprayed dyed her blonde hair red and black and put it up in long pigtails. She had now gone back to her shapely sized after giving birth to their son, Prince Adonis. She hoped this outfit might get her husband back to his wanting of her. She needed that from him. She was tired of the pampering and delicacy that everyone treated her with since his birth. She wanted to be a woman again and to feel her beautiful god of a husband, Apollo inside of her. Was she in heat.... damn right she was.
Es saw through the mirror the looks Apollo already was giving her and she put on the finishing touched of red lipstick and made a puckered kiss towards the mirror and then a sassy wink knowing full well Apollo would see it. Pulling on her snug over the knee boots they were miles away from that flouncy skirt. Oh she was ready for this night and took her husband′s arm as they stepped through the portal into Yggdrasil.

So the Harlequin and the Hippy. Well now were they not an unusual pair. "Yeah babe, crazy man, and look at that food. Wow this is like crazy man, and look at your beautiful mother. Does she just look crazy man." she would use that key term whenever he said groovy. "Apollo" she said under her breath "We must greet the gracious hosts to be polite. Es was a Queen in her own right as she was Queen of the Gypsies in Romania. Her brother ruled Romania now... or what about her father since he returned. She shook her head for tonight was a night of fun and merriment.
Nyghtwolfe was still swirling the eyeball around her drink. She paused long enough to smile at Galatea, "Yes, isn't it wonderful! Although I wish ...", she sighed, "... that Misos was here. After-all, he absolutely loves Halloween. Even at home he dresses up for the trick-or-treaters when they knock on our castle door looking for candy."
Nyghtwolfe laughed with an amused twinkle in her amber eyes, "My fierce war god husband is a little kid at heart."
She glanced over at her two sons and jabbed her thumb in their direction, "All my children are Halloween fanatics. The passion runs in our family."
Lok loved the ritual of Halloween. It was his favorite holiday. His demonic persona was eager to reign mischievousness upon the world. That was what Halloween was all about, letting one's demons out to play in celebration of all that was dark and mysterious. For hours, he had looked in the mirror at his human face, thinking of what clever alterations he could do for the Halloween party. Finally he grinned wickedly. He'd be a pumpkin-head. Yeah, that's adequately spooky.
As only a demon can do, Lok grabbed hold of his own head and ripped it off his shoulders. His body convulsed with a fitful of giggles as then a pumpkin grew out of his neck. Using a paring knife, Lok scored into the rind to build his eyes, nose and mouth, flaking off the pulp of his face. His demonic soul claimed this new head for itself in the form of eerie glowing eyes that flickered in the hollows. The flame of his eyes roared up to become singed eyebrows and his tongue found the gap of his new mouth, filling the void.
Lok was ready for the Yggdrasil Halloween Party. He turned away from the mirror and called for his wifey, asking if she was done with her own costume. Lok peeked around the bathroom door, his eyes flickering like two candles. He giggled again, "BOO!"
"Whenever you're ready Sunshine", he said as he picked up a raggedy straw hat and plopped it on his round orange head.
"Let's go scare people", he giggled wickedly again and took Bray by the hand, encouraging her to lead the way to the party. These were her people, her friends. He hoped to make a memorable impression upon them.
Upon entering, Lok saw his own Mom and brother already there. In greeting, his eyes blazed with a blue flame tinged with fiery red, licking the rind of his eyes. He alternated the effects from one eye to the other, producing the appearance of a pumpkin winking back and forth.
Galatea dawned a pirate outfit, knowing that Michel would most likely not make it to this party. But he sent a bottles of bloodwine with her as regard.
She saw Nightwolfe first, with a glass of glowing green stuff and a scaringly real looking eyeball. "Erm, this is?" She pointed at the drink. "Is it safe to drink?" She smirked and picked one of the glasses up.
Then she saw her sisters who looked like the Mario Bros. She giggled and walked up to them to greet them in sisterly fashion. "Maybe I should have come as princess insted of a pirate." She hugged Keto and Kalypso.
"I'll need to greet our hosts too." She looked around for Amora and Thor, but instead saw the girls playing and laughed at the good fun everyone was having.
At least one of her sons had shown up at at party. Nyghtwolfe opened her mouth to comment on his outrageous throwback 60's clothing being not very scary but she shut her yap and smiled instead. No doubt her daughter-in-law would also be arriving as well. It was plenty enough to have family here. Nyghtwolfe beamed with happiness and pride.
She wandered over to the bar and picked up a glass.
"How nice." she said, "Fruit juice with a kick."
The glass chink with eyeball shaped ice as she scooped her drink with a ladle.
She swept her gaze out momentarily at the children playing as she sloshed the juice around to make the fruity eyeballs bob and float.
Mel had had entirely to much fun doing Magnis makeup for Halloween. He of course had to sit so she could actually reach his hair which again she enjoyed being able to dye, especially since it was easier to color then her own dark locks. "You are one dashing, adorable skeleton," she told him grinning as he moved them in a flash to the party. She scanned the room as he whispered to her and she chuckled shaking her head, "I wouldnt dream of it. For one i happen to like this spot," she said poking his side before she added, "Plus you were very pro scary which leads me to believe your brothers will be carrying that tradition... and you can keep me from jumping and embarrassing myself."
Seated on the couch nursing a cold beer, Apollo watched his gypsy queen fussing about with her clothing and hair, obviously dressing up for a party. His blonde eyebrows creased over his nose, wondering what mischief Esmeralda was up to now. Rising silently from the warm spot he left on the couch, Apollo walked to the closet and dug out one of his old hippy suits. Although he had put on a little extra pounds in his midriff, the flamboyant suit fit him rather snugly. He took a pair of scissors and slit up the length of both legs and found an old hat to complete the costume. By the time Es was done putting on her makeup, Apollo would greet her with a smile, "I'm ready... so, where are we going honey?"
To Yggdrasil.
A little while later and some last minute touch-ups on his golden hair, Apollo arrived at the Halloween Party, escorting his wife inside. He immediately saw his mother in her witch outfit. The music was festive. The delicious aroma of the food wafted to his nose. As Apollo walked in on the arm of his wife, he flashed the peace sign with two fingers at everyone who glanced his way. "Groovy" would be his catchphrase of the evening, no matter what was said.
"That's just Groovy", Apollo repeated often.
"Hey honey. look at those Groovy costumes. Aren't they all just so Groovy?"
Magni sat still for the last hour as Mel put make up all over his face, neck and chest. He told her they should do something scary like he always done but she said no to him because he had younger siblings and after she gave him a pout he agreed to her idea. When she was fiddling with his hair he didn't know she was dying it so when she showed him her work with a mirror he chuckled and looked up at her. "This better wash out." he teased her before taking her hand seeing as she was ready long before him and he used a flash of gold to transport to the great hall where the party was being held. He moved his arm around Mel's waist and he leaned over to whisper in her ear. "I hope your not planning on leaving my side." he grinned waving to his mother and father.
There was a warm greeting for guest, friends and family as they arrived, and It was charming seeing everyone coming together to have fun. She spent a little two long admiring the body platter her good friend had brought in but over all the time spent on her husbands arm was greeting and smiling while watching the girls play. She was doing that when Thors voice rumbled by her ear. She laughed shaking her head. "I dont know that id recover if they managed to scare me again this year," she murmured back before adding, "But with many other people here and a giant spider in attendance i have a feeling we might be in for it love."
Thor watched as Alva and Brenda played under the tables and Alva avoiding the large spider that now seemed to be at the party. He greeted his guests with a smile and a thanks for coming. He wondered where his sons where and if this year would be another contest to see whom could be the scarier of them all. Last year they scared Amora and Asa.. Thor looked to his wife who was on his arm and he leaned over to whisper. "I do hope our sons are not up to any trouble for tonight's affair." his lips pulled into a grin and when he spoke it, it was really amusing to him.
Keto chuckled at her sister and then scanned the room as inconspicuous as possible. "You dance it up for us while im a little nosey. I wanted to see if maybe the girl Nerites had visited would be here," she said every bit the prying sister though it didn't bother her much. Her plan was flawed though as costumes meant nobody looked like themselves!
Kalypso actually giggled when Keto and she entered the room. The moustache she was sporting was tickling her nose and Keto looked ridiculously funny. She knew she looked just as funny.
They made their way through the crowd, giggling and chorting like little girls. Her body moved to the music and she looked around. "Lets get the party started."
Keto had heard about the party in Asgard from her brother who had spent some time with a lady form the realm. It seemed like it could be fun and she had decided dragging her older sister along with her would be fun. She was adamant about their outfits, it caused her immense enjoyment to sport her mustache, and she strut in proudly, arm looped through her sisters into the decked out ball room looking around in amazement.
