Karasu's Nightmare Form
The marionette smirked, the sharpened spoon drenched in blood in her right hand that was obviously fresh while she stood looking down to the woman with ebony orbs. She tilted her head with a loud creak echoing in the darkness around them, bouncing the cold stone of the five by five space she had the woman in. "They say eyes are the windows to the soul....perhaps that's why my own aren't as stable as yours. Black voids that fill the spaces to keep the many souls stirring in me secluded from the light of the outside world. Or maybe it's because I am nothing more than a puppet, an inhuman creation dwelling in the shadows to snuff out that illumination in others eyes. Yours were so blinding. They had to be removed..."
Her smirk turned sour and she grit her teeth, grabbing the woman by the back of her head, her fingers tangling into her hair as she jerked her head back causing her face to turn upwards as the puppet leaned in. "I hate light." And with that the marionette slammed the sharp edges of the spoon into the woman's throat, the spray of blood from severing the artery drenching her face and the front of her pure white sun dress, painting it a pretty shade as she intended to use the blood as a dye to taint the purity of the color. The blood dripped off the edges of the dress, down her legs while it also pooled around the puppets bare feet and she grinned, the corners of her mouth splitting open as sharp fangs filled the gaps between them. Her eyes remained black as she listened to the woman choke on her own blood, watching the light and life slip away slowly from her while the puppet herself began to shift into a grotesque form.
Her pale porecilen skin cracking as her arms and legs extended becoming bone thin, slender fingers turning into claws as her torso grew upwards, her joints snapping backwards to change the position of her elbows and knees. Her spinal cord pressed against her back making jagged points along it under the soft cotton fabric of the sun dress while her lower jaw dislocated and shifted downwards, thinning and enlongating her face. The puppet stood over the dying woman, her mere five foot stature now seven with tangled black locks becoming matted from the blood as she gazed down. She was sickly thin, her "skin" seeming to hang on nothing more than mere bone in a light grey color except for the black spaces between the cracks that spread across it.
She growled lowly and her free hand found itself buried into the woman's chest cavity. Karasu always enjoyed the human heart, its complications and its many functions, this was no different. She gazed down into the woman's hollowed cavities where her eyes once sat, a unique connection to her master allowing her to see the soul within the human shell. She watched the soul blacken in response to the marionettes invasion and ripped the heart free only to devour it, fangs and jagged teeth gnashing down upon it while she tore it to shreds between them.
This was the marionettes darkness. Every black soul within her feeding into her desires and manifesting her body into this form. Even for fun she would creep through the windows of sleeping children only to perch on the foot of the bed, bone thin arms and legs with cracked "flesh" bent so her torso leaned forward, leaving her face inches from theirs while ice blue hues stared into their souls. All to cause pure terror, not a scream to escape before she'd steal them away and contaminate their souls leaving them to never be seen again. Just like this woman.
Snatched away without a sign, no witnesses, no clues, never to be seen again as the soul within her husk turned into a tainted mass for the marionettes masters collection if he so desired them. Karasu moved to all fours, the reversal of her joints allowing her hands and feet to remain flat on the ground as she crept back into the shadows, the scent of decay and death wafting from the places that cracked on her "skin" along her body. Behind her she dragged the corpse to the darkness and growled, snarling possessively over it while ripping it apart limb by limb.
