Starter Katherine Brewster sat inside her house thinking back on everything that had happened. Once upon a time, she had a normal life. But then John Connor came into her life and brought with him machines called Terminators. The one with him was his protector but there were others who wanted to kill him because he would be the one to destroy them all. And now they wanted to kill her as well, because in the future she married John and had his child. It was a strange feeling knowing what your future would be. Even stranger knowing that killer robots wanted to kill you just because who you decided to marry. Life was quickly becoming very complicated for Kate. But she had still not seen the worst of it yet. But what made things worse was, John was not around. He had training to do to prepare to be the future's savior. The one that would put an end to all the time traveling and murderous, human looking, terminators. As a result, Kate was left alone and she hoped that none of the terminators were heading her way since she had no protection and couldn't take on one of them by herself. All she could do was hope that the John from the future would send a terminator back to protect her like he had done for himself.  Even though she was afraid to be alone and leave her house, Kate knew that no matter where she was, if a terminator wanted to kill her, it would find her. After all, that's what these robots were programmed to do. Locate and destroy. With that knowledge, Kate grabbed her keys and headed out. She needed some groceries and was determined to get them without being killed or harmed. Though as she headed down the street, she couldn't help but be paranoid about every stranger she passed. Knowing a lifelike robot could come up and grab you at any moment had her spooked. And gave her serious trust issues. At this rate she wasn't sure how she was supposed to live a normal life.
