Kai was the son of Louis De Pointe Du Lac, He also a son to unknown mother, who abandoned him when he was born. He was raised by Louis feeding on rats and humans when he can. He wasn′t like Louis at all just have a complexion of his body and the hair of his mother. His best friend and sister is Luci, whom is Lestat′s daughter he doesn′t blame her for not wanting nothing to do with him
