Frank’s childhood was harsh. He was a lonely,
starving child in the streets of the capitol until Michael and Galatea
literally bumped into him. Galatea was moved by the little boy and gave him an
apple. Michael later searched for him and found him beside his dead mother who
had been killed.
Michael took the silent and disturbed boy with
him and took him to Hy-Brasil when it was raised. Galatea immediately took the
boy in as her son and Frank found his speech back, calling her mother. Soon his
sister Elpis was born, who he imprinted on as a soulmate.
But Frank felt different, being a mortal child
within a family of immortals. His closest friend beside Elpis was Oliver, a boy
who Galatea and Michael had taken in as well. He was curious, loved books and
happened upon one that released a demon. The demon demanded blood and Galatea
gave Frank her blood, which made him partially immortal and gave him similar
powers.
Frank grew up left Hy-Brasil to live among
humans for a while, where he had many adventures with Oliver. He had a mate,
but it didn’t work out and so he came back and found his sister Elpis still a
child due to a spell. But when Elpis grew up he and her revealed their love for
each other. They shared a love for books and adventures, so they travelled the
world. The power of their bond was so strong that they married and Elpis soon
became pregnant with their first child - Ricard.
But Fates dealt Frank and Elpis a blow, he
would not live to see his son born. He was killed and when he died Elpis almost
died too.
There seemed no way to bring him back from
death, even though Elpis and others tried. Until one day he suddenly returned.
A strange cloaked man came to his grave and Frank woke from the dead. His
mortality had died with him, but the power of Galatea’s blood still flows
through him.
He returned to Hy-Brasil as the Shadow Walker,
trying to find out why and who brought him back from the dead. It is a quest he
is on and a riddle he longs to solve, which drives him.
Frank has control over water and similar
passion as the famous Greek nymphs. His senses are very acute and he is just as
witty as strong.
A bond still exists between him and Elpis, even
though they aren’t married anymore. He met his son Ricard as a grown men and
along with him his grandchild. Currently he is still trying to cope with all
the new information that he has to process.

KOED-LY: Fighting for Control (storyline between Richard B. Riddick and Elpis Riddick-Lust
Elpis had
acted strangely of late. The only times she seemed to be more or less calm were
the moments she spent in the home she and Richard had made in the North of
Hy-Brasil. His strong arm had been wrapped around her all night and she had
found sleep, while the voices in her head for once died down.
She kept
telling herself that it was the stress of rebuilding the library and Lyonesse,
as well as the excitement of the iniation as ruler of Lyonesse. Some of the
Elders now in charge of the age old houses had been in a magical slumber and
had come to her to tell her about Lyonesse and the houses. It was just too much
lately and pregnancy hormones were tossed in with the mix. Whenever she faced
another sudden bout of anger and burst out she later excused it just like this.
She didn’t feel fully herself and would be alright once all this stress ended.
Richard
woke next to her and was immediately awake, while she had been lingering half
asleep on her own thoughts.
He smiles kissing her cheek turning to look at the clock. "Let’s go
shower and go get breakfast before we start the day"
She smiled and grumbled a little. "Your embrace feels so good,
Richard." But she felt the need to get up too and knew he was in need of
breakfast for sure. "Ok, shower and breakfast. A big breakfast - for my
husband, me and our baby."
Richard smiles kissing her as he pulled out rubbing her arm. "Boy
or girl?" He sat up and heads to the bathroom.
She rolled to the side and leaned onto her hand to watch him. When he
mentioned the baby she placed her hand over her belly and relaxed. After a
silent moment she sat up and followed him, leaning in the doorframe to the
bathroom. "I actually don′t know. We had both and if I think about the
family history then I would say it is a girl. But I can′t tell yet."
He turns around looking at her and walks over to her once the water was
running and getting warm and kisses her lips. "I don’t care if it’s a boy
or girl I will love them"
Elpis looked up at her strong, tall husband and smiled. "I know you
will, Richard." She caressed his cheek when he kissed her and then held
his shoulders to turn him towards the water. "Shower. Now. I’ll join you
if I must, but you need to get under the water to shower. If you keep kissing
me like this then we’ll never get breakfast." She laughed and had to fight
hard not to give in the the urge to just jump into his arms before he reached
the shower.
Riddick laughs. "I’m walking no need to rush and what’s the rush
anyways?" He laughs again getting under the warm water.
She loved his laugh and grinned. "You need food still and I am
getting hungry too." She paused and chuckled. "For food, you know I
am always hungry for you. I am just trying to be reasonable." She followed
him stood at the edge of the shower when he got into it.
"You know you can’t keep
your hands off but if it wasn’t for you wanting food and me needing to go to
work we wouldn’t be leaving the room and showering"
She frowned at his mention of work. "We’ll need to discuss baby
names. You know that." She stepped into the shower with him and looked up
while rubbing soap over his chest. "I like the names Moira and Rian."
She watched how bubbles of foam and water ran down his muscular body and purred
just from watching her husband.
"Already? We don’t even know the sex yet and you want baby
names?" He steps into the warm water looking at her. "Let’s call the
baby pancakes?" He laughs shaking his head. "Well those sound good I
don′t mind those names seeing that I don’t have any names to give out."
Elpis laughed and shook her head. "You are such a smartass
sometimes, Richard." She followed him into the shower, still laughing.
"Pancakes? I might call you pancakes. You know as well as I do that our
children tend to grow surprisingly fast sometimes or dreadfully slow. Depending
on the point of view." She sighed and began to rub soap between her hands
which she then spread over his body lovingly. "Blame it on my meddling
with the fabric of time or simply that they have demon genes."
"It’s all you im the angel in the family" he laughs feeling
her rub his body with soap.
"Yeaaaahhhh, suuuurrreeee." She grinned when he called himself
an angel. Playful teasing, joking and bickering was part of their routine and
both knew it was just fun and games that added to the spark between them.
"Who had a price on his handsome head when I met him? And who has the soul
of an angel again?" She continued to rub soap lavishly over his body and traced
his muscles with a grin.
"Yes I did have a price on my head but that was due to me doing
angelic things like feeding the poor and or saving someone′s ass"
She smiled and kissed his lips softly. "You know that you are my
light, babe." Her eyes were deep blue and full of love. During the last
days she had felt raging anger and more often than ever her temper had driven
her. But not so right now, his mere presence was enough to balance her out.
"I love you, Richard."
He looks at her looks into her eyes. "Yea I love you to red
head" he reached for her stomach laying his hand on her belly.
She smirked when he called her red head. "Yes, we need names."
She placed her hand over his on her belly. "My angel of a husband."
"Now you’re just abusing the title" he smirks kissing her lips.
"I do what?" For a moment her eyes turned red in anger that
flared up. But his kiss soothed her and she was back to normal.
"What the hell was that? I never seen your eyes like that
before?"
"Anger. My parents and sibling could tell you crazy tales."
She looked down and felt a nagging small voice whispering in her head and a
ball of anger forming. She quickly leaned against his chest and inhaled to take
in his scent and focus on it.
"Anger? What the hell are you talking about did I say something to upset
you.”
"I don′t even know anymore." She looked at him. "It
seems I can′t control my anger lately." Suddenly her eyes turned red
again. "But why would that be your business, you likely said something to
get me mad." She pulled free and slammed her hand against the wall.
He looks at her raising a brow "what the hell does that mean? Want
to slam shit go take a walk." He shuts the water off grabbing a towel and
wraps it around his waist and heads out.
Suddenly her eyes turned blue again and whatever seemed to have had hold
of her a minute before lost control for a moment. "Richard, please,
no." Her voice was quiet and afraid.
He was getting dress putting on his boots and heads down to the kitchen
grabbing a bottle of soda and heads to the back yard.
Elpis rubbed her temples, her eyes rapidly changing from red to blue.
Anger and fear boiled up in mere seconds, when she slowly realized that she
wasn′t fully herself. She struggled to keep the fear and voices in her head
under control. It was a dangerous and rallying whisper that wanted her to burn,
to go up in flames of anger. She just tossed a sweater over and put some shorts
on before she headed down, still fighting internally between the both sides.
"Richard?" She called out and stood in the door to their home.
"Don’t Richard me right now Elpis. There’s something wrong with you
I don’t know what it is but it’s not you. It has to do with the whole library
shit you’re doing things reading things you don’t know about."
"Please Richard, we are a team. I need to read all those things and
work on rebuilding Lyonesse. Don′t leave me alone in all this just before the
ritual of iniation. I want you to be there, I need you to be there." She
stepped outside. Despite being summer there were hints of ice on the floor from
the previous night. Each of her steps made the ice melt and her body steamed.
"It could just be hormones, you know."
"Hormones? You have not been like that with the rest of the kids.
You have already started without me" he sighs. "Elpis you say a team
but each time I want to help you are already 10 steps ahead so how can I help
you can basically translate everything"
She came closer and wrapped her arms around him. "I can′t
translate everything. I still haven′t figured out what the secret about that
pearl and the portals is. We found Lyonesse, the library and the Elders, but no
one knows what exactly happened in the first place." She sighed. "The
more I try to solve the riddle of how and why Hy-Brasil, Avalon and Lyonesse
are connected the more riddles pop up. Why was that text written in Furyan? Why
did Hy-Brasil and Lyonesse sink? How did the Elders that rule the houses
survive?"
"How about for once Elpis maybe for once that’s the way it is that’s
what happen. Maybe my people helped build all this maybe my people killed
everyone here and fell or for some crazy reason it fell just because"
"And that is supposed to help me now?" She let him go.
"Will you come with me to Lyonesse for the initiation? It seems you
don′t want to." She turned to walk back inside, turning at the door.
"I would like if you were there."
He sighs looking at her. "I’ll be there for you Elpis"
She turned and her eyes spoke of the battle she fought between remaining
her true self and letting the anger that she didn′t know where it came from
win. "Only if you want to, Richard. I thought you would be there for us
and not just for me." She looked down and walked inside, where she picked
up the small ledger to sit down by the fireside to try and figure out the
markings and pictures again to try and clear her mind of their fight.
He sighs staying out for a moment taking a sip of his beer and walks
back in. "You’re holding it upside down to start with babe." He sat
next to her turning it over for her taking her finger and traces the marks with
her. "It reads that the land was once powered and held up the love and
souls of the people. The three families that ruled feed the land as well"
She suppressed an instinctive growl when he interfered, but when he took
her finger she relaxed and let him show her the way the markings were read. She
listened quietly while her mind raced. "There are so many mechanical
devices all over the island. Those portals, they don′t work yet, but the one
that we found in Hy-Brasil. What three families?" She looked at him and
sighed. Then she whispered. "Thank you." And then leaned in to kiss
him gently on the cheek.
"Hy-Brasil, Avalon and Lyonesse where three different families not
only names of lands. Each family was divided in groups that controlled the
mechanical devices. Magi of each family and group used spells to turn them on
all at the same time" he grabs the book and holds it to her. "This is
not a story book babe this is a spell book and maybe you read something that
affected you"
"The Elders that woke in Lyonesse said that there has always been
one who controlled all the portals. That the all spells answered to one person
in Lyonesse." She sighed and leaned against him. "If what you say is
true then who says that the houses don′t rival to control that power - rival
to control me?" She looked into his eyes. "Who could protect me from
myself then? Or anyone else?"
"This is a battle you will have to face yourself this is an inner
battle and if you lose you will be lost forever"
"Then I might become a demon of the worst kind." She looked at
him. "No one will be safe from me or the power I hold then. What would you
do if I lost this battle?" Elpis felt afraid of what he would say. They
had been through so much and now he suddenly seemed so far away.
He looks at her and sighs looking at her hand. "End you" he
looks at her eyes. "You lose that being in you will take over and kill
everyone and thing just like they tried a long time ago like they did my
people. The only reason you’re relaxed now because it fears me...fears its own
kind.”
"So that is why I keep better control when I am around you."
She exhaled deeply and leaned more against him, inhaling his scent. "We
will need to find the people who want me to act like this."
"She’s in you Elpis the one who wants you is there now in your
mind" he opens the boom and flips through pages and sighs showing her the
picture of a witch. "You need to beat her before she takes over the
baby"
Something in her didn′t want to listen to his words and fought his
reasonable arguments. Elpis growled. "I haven′t seen anyone like this
ever." She barked at him and her eyes turned red, her body hot. "I
should burn that stupid book." Elpis listened to herself and knew it
wasn′t she that spoke. This was not the curious and open minded goddess
everyone knew. This wasn′t cool and controlled Elpis, who could burst out
because of her nature, but who usually held her emotions well hidden. „You
wouldn′t end me, I am carrying your child." She pushed the book out of
his hands and stared at him with red eyes. Even her voice sounded darker and
different.
"I don’t who you are but you’re my wife" he looks at her
seeing the red in her eyes "what do you want with Elpis witch?" He
holds the book in his hand then looks at it. "Your Furyan why do you fear
me?"
"I don′t fear you, Riddick." Elpis growled and stared with
burning eyes at him, her hands ignited with red hot flames. "Lyonesse and
its power will finally be in the right hands. All those Elder houses won′t be
needed once I am The Librarian. No Guardian will be needed. You won′t be
needed to protect me or keep me from doing what I want." A twisted grin
came to her face
He saw the flames and stood back. "Elpis you need to fight you
can′t let her win" he opens the book and scans it and starts to chant in
Furyan casting a spell to place the furyan in Elpis to sleep
Elpis made a few steps towards him and reached for him and the book. She
seemed to know no mercy even with Richard. But the moment she sent a fireball
his way a scream echoed out. Elpis dropped to her knees, trying to fight the
voices in her head. "She isn′t alone." One voice died down and was
quieted by Richard′s chant. Elpis fought back now that one was silenced. Her
hands burned holes into the carpet.
He looks at her and kept reading repeating the chant. "My name is
Richard B Riddick the last of my kind the last of your kind the king of your
people LEAVE MY WIFE AND CHILD ALONE!"
Elpis screamed out and leaned her forehead against the floor. Then she
stood on all four and stared with burning red eyes at Richard. "You aren′t
the last anymore, Riddick!" An evil laughter filled the room. "We are
in her, you reproduced. We could take your child, one of those two in..."
Elpis screamed, the red of her eyes turned to black and then to blue. She
reached out with one hand towards Richard. "Richard!" She begged him.
He took her hand and sighs. "Babe I need you to fight back I can’t
do it from out here" he turns the page and reads a new spell. "Your
dead I’m the last of my kind my children are a better version than me"
Elpis breathed heavy and took his hand. She clasped it and her grip was
deadly. She looked into Richard′s face and focused on him. Images of faces
and voices swam through her head and she continued to fight while he was the
rock she focused on. He was the light she tried to get to. The colour of her
eyes turned from blue to black and red. Changing from animalistic to demonic
and human. She growled and muttered her own spells. Finally her growl was dark
and strong, her eyes red, but blood red and not as burning as before. “I am
Elpis, The Librarian. I control fire and water like no one else. I control
time. I control myself. I will burn down the houses if need be."
Riddick lets go of her hand "thank for you mother fuckers to go to
hell!" He stares at her then kept reading watching as Elpis fought back.
He saw the souls of the damned being pulled out of her body.
Elpis fought back hard, sweat forming on her forehead. "Go to
hell!" She screamed and pulled herself to her knees, then slowly rose. She
punched into thin air as she fought with invisible spirits that tried to get a
hold of her again. The spell Richard chanted kept them visible for her, but
this way she was able to fight them off, leaving them no place to go. „Go back
to the failing bodies you inherited so long. I will find you there. I, ELPIS,
AM THE LIBRARIAN - YOU HOLD NO POWER OVER ME! „Then all became silent. The
voices in her head screamed out one more time then all was silent. Elpis stood
for a moment before she slowly sank to her knees and panted. "I am
back." She whispered and looked at Richard.
"You sure" he said holding a log pick from the fire place.
"Huh prove it"
She looked up at him and raised her brow. "Seriously? A log
pick?" She sighed and sat down on the floor, wiping her forehead.
"Richard, we need to arrest a couple of Elders that were behind all this.
I won′t let them stay in Lyonesse one more hour and give them a chance to
escape." She looked up at him and smiled. "Move your sexy ass and
help your wife up." She held out her hand to him.
"Ok it’s you" he helps her up and looks at her and sighs.
"Ok first you need a break then we get them"
She grinned. "I see you know me by the way I boss around." But
as soon as he had pulled her up she flung her arms around his neck and hugged
him like life depended on it and began kissing his face all over with tears
running down her face.
"Ok ok babe its ok yourself" he smiles kissing her lips and
hugs her close
She gave a few sobs while she
tried to take a deep breath and calm down. "King of the Furyans,
huh?" She smirked. "I never knew you were a king nor that the Furyans
had one." Elpis wiped her face with the back of her hand and still held
him in a close hug. "We can′t let them get away."
"It was all bullshit I made it all up, now I want to know why they
fear me" he sat her down on the couch. "We will them one by one"
"For me you are my one of a kind king." She held his hands and
looked up at him. "From the voices in my head I know they fear you,
because you are the one who was able to reveal them and who can help me solve
the riddles around the portals as well as protect me from them." She
patted the spot next to her."
He shook his head. "No I got to go look for my stuff bring out the
toys and clean them if we are going to catch these guys"
As much as she wanted to lean against him and feel him close to comfort
herself, she knew he was right. So she nodded and dropped back into the couch
with a sigh, trying to relax, catch a breath and gather her strength.
"Yes, babe, get your toys out and we′ll go catch them."
He walks to the basement and grabs a chest and pulls it out dusting off
his weapons and boots. He picked up his old goggles but left them getting his
sun glasses and puts them on. He came back out looking at her. "Let’s
go"
It was just enough time for Elpis to gather her strength when he came
back with his sunglasses on and ready for fight. She raised a brow and smirked.
"Hot, maybe we need to fight more often." When she got up and bit her
lip and took a deep breath. "Let’s go, my love. I want to kick their asses
from here to hell."
He smiles at her with a nod. "Come on but you can’t fight I don’t
want the baby to get hurt"
She growled. "There you go spoiling all the fun." But she
grinned crookedly, knowing he was concerned and worried, despite his cool
outfit and demeanor. "Let me at least zap their asses, babe. We need to
start at the House of Fire. The Elder, Scarlett, she was the one who got a hold
of me first. Then we′ll round up the others."
"We might need some help for this" he walks to the door
looking at her. "Come on now"
She followed him, pulling all her strength together. She was angry now,
but it wasn′t the unfocused, all-consuming anger she had felt before. This
was the just kind of anger, because someone had tried to take her over, but now
she knew how anger could fuel her and she used this. "Yes, let’s go. First
thing I′ll look for when this is settled is protectors and new Elders."
"Let’s start with how many do we have to catch and where are
they"
"5 of the Elders that currently sit in power in Lyonesse. Maybe
some of their students have been turned, but they should give up as soon as
their masters are taken care of." She walked up to him and kissed his
lips. "Say what you will but you aren′t the only one going in there with a
toy. I may stand back, but I won′t go unarmed."

He is a Seminus
demon, a breed of incubus. All Seminus demons possess gifts meant to aid them
in seduction and reproduction, but those gifts can also be used to heal.
Wraith′s gift differs from his brothers′ in the case that he can access the
mind instead of the body, controlling thoughts and projecting images.
Thanks to a
charm bestowed upon him by Serena, his mate, he is now impervious to harm
except at the hand of an angel or fallen angel.
His
horrific younger years left him with a strange quirk: he won’t feed from or
have sex with human women. All other females, however, are fair game — a game
he plays several times a day. As a demon born to a vampire, Wraith is an
anomaly. A freak combination of Seminus demon and vampire, like Lore and Sin,
he is an anomaly of their species.
A childhood of torture at the hands of
vampires gave him an intense hatred of the entire race, and he spent his entire
adult life killing them for sport. So it comes to no surprise that he is a
great fighter in all weapons as he has lived a life of fighting and torture.
In fact,
his blue eyes, that don’t match those of his brothers, aren’t his but his uncle’s.
Unlike Seminus demons, Wraith was born with the red-eyed glare other Sems gain
around the time of s’gensesis. The vampires of his horde gouged out his eyes.
Not only
his eyes are setting him apart physically from his brothers, he bleaches his
hair blonde to display the difference between him and them.
In the last
storyline featured for all of KOED by UGH we learned that Wraith is a difficult
character who likes to dine on junkies. Mostly those who are food for vampires.
He gets high and into trouble a lot too.
Even though
he acts as if he doesn’t want to be like his brothers and sets himself apart in
appearance, deep down inside he has a soft spot for them. He even feels as if
he doesn’t deserve them, which he would never openly admit.

Muspelheim
(pronounced “MOO-spell-hame;” Old Norse Múspellsheimr,
“The World of Múspell“) is one of the Nine Worlds and the home of the fire giants.
The word
“Muspelheim” is recorded only in the Prose Edda of Snorri Sturluson, a late
work that can’t be taken at face value as representing authentic pre-Christian
Norse mythology. However, the basic cosmological principle it represents can be
tracked far into the Germanic past. Cognates of Múspell can be found in Old
High German and Old Saxon texts, meaning that the word and the concept it
denotes likely go back to the Proto-Germanic period. Its oldest meaning, when
one compares these various sources, seems to have been “end of the world
through fire.”
In earlier
Old Norse poetry, the word seems to refer to a giant who leads his “people” or
“sons” into battle against the gods during Ragnarok.
Even if the
idea of Muspelheim as a place rather than an event or a person is an invention
of Snorri’s, it’s a relatively minor accretion, and one which is broadly
consistent with the earlier uses of Múspell.
Muspelheim
features in both the creation of the world and its downfall. In the creation
narrative given by Snorri, fire from Muspelheim and ice from Niflheim meet in
the middle of Ginnungagap and forge the giant Ymir, the first being from whose
corpse the world was eventually shaped. During Ragnarok, the fire giant Surt,
who should probably be identified with the Múspell of Old Norse poetry, arrives
from the south (surely meant to be understood as the realm of heat and fire)
with a flaming sword to slay the gods and burn the world.
The
continental Germanic meaning of the word also implies this connection with a
cyclical eschaton (a theological word for the end of the world).
Featured member of the month (4/15): Our Queen - Desdemona Lust (KOED)
Desdemona Lust is the queen supreme of all KOED.
Her true form is a succubus demi goddess. Desdemona's
natural form is dazzlingly gorgeous, with an allure further augmented by her
bustier of beauty. Her long, trim legs seem to go on forever, before finally
leading to her pleasantly full, round bottom. Her smooth, flat stomach is
perfectly in contrast with her full breasts, which are delightfully firm but
still manage to bounce ever so slightly with every move she makes. Her wavy
hair is a deep dark brown, so lustrous that it often seems almost black in
bright lighting, and hangs down to her waist. Her piercing amber eyes can stop
almost any living creature in their tracks, but the manner in which she runs
her tongue over her deep red lips can get them moving again, usually in whatever
manner pleases her. Her skin is the color of pale cream, and is perfectly
unmarked except for silver faint scars that criss-cross along her back and two
deep scars cut along each shoulder blade. A pair of soft, dark brown bat-like
wings unfurl from her back from these scars and her nails which look normal are
sharp as a razor blade. When aroused her eyes can turn a glowing gold, but deep
red when angered.
Long fangs show when angered or excited, these
are the only clues to her demonic heritage. Desdemona does not show her wings
or fangs often and not many of her own family have seen the demon demi goddess
in her full form. She keeps it hidden, only showing it when in a war like mood.
Desdemona looks around 25 years old, though her age is not really know, it is
said she is around 300 to 400 years old.

the target is not willing to be kissed, the succubus must start a grapple. The
succubus’s kiss or embrace drains some of the life force from its victim. The
kiss also has the effect of a suggestion spell, asking the victim to accept
another kiss from the succubus. The victim has a chance, based on his
willpower, to negate the effect of the suggestion. * detect sexual thoughts *
Improved Senses: she possess senses much greater than that of humans. She has
better hearing than most dogs, and her sense of sight is much greater as are
able to spot things that other creatures might miss. She has the power to sense
any other demons near them. However, she does not have a sense of taste of
food, as she cannot ingest food it turns to ash in her mouth. Only red wine is
digestable. * Voice Tricks : Those of Desdemona's blood line have the ability
to roll the minds of humans and lesser lycanthropes with their voices alone,
much like Desdemona. It is a very warm and pleasurable sensation and most men
find it very hard to fight against it because of it. Once more, this is a power
of elegance rather than power – it is a skilled use of power and not something
to overwhelm a person with using force. * Dream Walk: Desdemona can enter ones
mind in their sleep and waking hours. [aka Daydreams]..this ability will work
will in their waking or death hours. She CAN manipulate the dreams, and she CAN
communicate with the dreams occupant. BUT even thou she can alter the dreams
course, she CANNOT KILL at this level but can cause minor injuries, such as
bruising or small lacerations, or surface wounds. *Orgasmic Bite: When Des's
fangs sink into someone’s skin, it causes orgasmic rapture to flood them, a
heavily addictive pleasure even more intense than the usual lust-inducing bite
from some Succubi. This power is rare and it is believed due to Desdemona being
born of the lust goddess Vixen instead of Lilith like most succubi. Desdemona's
offsprings both male and female have shown to develop this power either at the
time of their change at 18, or when they reach their 100th year. Each one
develops differently. * Tongues ablity: Des has a permanent tongues ability to
cast any spell. * Magic: Desdemona possess the blessing of darkness given by
her grandfather Lucifer, thus letting her use shadow magic and the power to
summon other (lower level) demons/shadow creatures Drawbacks and weaknesses: *
Feed/Induce Lust: Desdemona can both feed on and induce lust. In fact, she must
feed this need just as vampires must feed on blood, or her powers would wane
and eventually it would kill her. This need is called the arduer - the arduer
is a need to feed from lust. It is a hunger that can never be satiated, but
after a fashion, it can be controlled. The only way it can be fed is through
sexual energy. It does not necessarily need to be intercourse, but the main
component is lust. This makes Desdemona a very sexual creatures – their
slightest movements and mere appearance will arouse even the coldest of hearts.
As a queen Desdemona tries very hard to control her powers in the presnece of
other Rulers so to show her diplomiacy and show respect to them. * Desdemona is
very moody, depending on when she has fed, will depend on her mood, the more
sad or angry she is the longer it's been since she has fed. Over time it is
known that Succubi loose their emotions as they become older, which might
explain why they are very moody even what humans call bi-polar at times. Once a
Succubi gets at least 500 years under their wings they start to no longer care.
Some become so unemotional that they no longer even care who they kill. If this
will happen to Desdemona is yet to be seen. * silver will hurt burning the
flesh slightly but will not kill. * Angel/Fallen Angel blood will harm greatly
and will even kill. * Holy water will burn the skin. * can over exsert herself
and will have to feed quicker * fallen in love is a slight weekness for
Desdemona. * Family, Desdemona will sacurfice herself for her family she
claims...she will rather take their burens than let them ever suffer. This
makes it where Desdemona has gotten used to running things without asking for
help. If she does ask for help. Her children are normally the only ones who
help out knowing what their mother sacrifce for them. Combat: (8 years of
combat rp fighting) Desdemona's natural weapons of choice is a sword and whip
she can wield are treated with blood of a fallen demon who's blood has shown to
burn the flesh of those good of heart. Des is not like normal succubi, as most
succubi actally run from combat, Des will look battle in the eye and rejoice in
it. She finds passion in the bloodiness of killing in war. She has been known
to even drop her sword to dive into the heat of the battle and use both her
claws and fangs to fight foes til death. In battle she casts Stoneskin on her
wings so they can be used as a sheild when she needs it. Des does have
something of a vindictive sense of humor. Enemies of hers will usually find
themselves discreetly targeted by sexual spells that range from embarrassing to
extremely frustrating. Des gets a kick out of using spells like these in
combinations, such as reverse gender and disrobe, false confidence and
repulsiveness, or her personal favorite, jealousy and desperation.

Enchanted Forest
The
Enchanted Forest is, speaking plainly, huge. Beautiful greenery - dense trees
and other plant life, interspersed with numerous rivers and lakes - stretches
for hundreds of miles up the spine of the island. One could very easily become
lost in such a huge expanse, were it not for the benevolent locals who seek to
guide lost travellers... Though, there are still places that even the resident
elves and gnomes have yet to chart out, or even explore.
Cloudsweep Peaks
These
Mountains tower high above all of Avalon. They are called cloud Sweeps because
they tower like titans above the clouds. Small trails lead up the peaks and
through the various passes. Caves are common here as well as underground lakes.
An old mine runs through the area so caution is advised when traversing these
steep mountains. Orcs and goblins live among the caves so travel with care.
Drakenfeld
Warlike
Drakenfeld is home to a number of peoples who prefer to separate themselves
from the rest of the surrounding counties. The ambitious nobility has seen to
it that they are entirely self-sufficient and has a constant eye watching for
an opportunity to expand the borders of their influence. Still, most of the
upper and western lands here remain uninhabited. The countryside surrounding Idia,
however, is densely populated by industrious farmers, artisans, smiths, and
other workers of all descriptions.
Tintagel
These are
generally seen as the tamest lands in the region of Avalon. Rolling hills, lush
grasslands and friendly peoples abound in this, the north-eastern part of the
island country. The knights of the Capital - which can be found here - see to
it that both the roads and surrounding lands are kept safe; as a result, travel
in this area is relatively painless. Tintagel has many inns, farms and small
settlements dotting the countryside, reflecting its generally civilised nature.
Aondir
A haven for
thieves and criminals of all kinds. The western reaches of the county play host
to what probably amount to the two most cut-throat places in all the isles;
Velkyn and Bridgersville. The swathes of smugglers and bandits that are
constantly moving between the two towns make it very dangerous to travel
anywhere in this area - particularly if you have any spare coin lining your
pockets.
Preah
The Warrior
City, The Den of Blood, The Center of Strength, Preah is all of these and more.
The many that live here built this city in the image of Honor, Loyalty,
Strength and Courage in hopes of attracting all those that do not fit into a
“normal” society like Trevena or the sorcery and magi that rule Fincayra. No,
the blade is law in Preah, and only the strongest of the strong is fit to rule
her. The city is surrounded by high walls of stone and steel, Towers for guards
on the 4 corners of this wall as well as erected on ether side of the massive
metal gates that point North, South, East, and West. Inside the city itself,
once the gates open leads down a massive bridge built over what appears to be a
lake, its waters crystal clear and fed by the massive trench that leads out of
the city, through Mt. Avalonius and into the open ocean. The bridge itself
leads to an Island, or land mass in the middle of the lake, and its this
landmass that holds the great Warriors City. Cobblestone streets, buildings of
stone and steel, inside the City itself its divided into 7 districts. The
Current Emperor of Preah will reside in the magnificent palace erected at the
center of the city herself.

Realm
The Order of the Fallen is an Order of Fallen Angels under the rule of Azrael the Angel of Death.
The angels
that rebelled and became demons did not lose their nature or their connatural
gifts. They cast away, by their sin, the grace in which they were created. They
did not cast away the beatific vision, for they never had it.
Now, if we
think of angelic orders as orders of angels in glory, then, of course, there
are no orders of bad angels. But if we consider angelic orders as order of
angelic nature simply, there are orders among the demons.
Certainly,
there is a precedence among bad angels; there is a subjection of some to
others. Demons of superior nature do not enlighten inferior demons;
enlightenment here could only mean the manifestation of truth with reference to
God, and the fallen angels have perversely and permanently turned away from
God.
But demons
can speak to one another, that is, they can make known their thoughts to one
another, for this ability belongs to the angelic nature which the demons
retain.
The nearer
creatures are to God the greater is their rule over other creatures. Therefore,
the good angels rule and control the demons.
The island first came to be referenced in chronicles in 421 AD, when people
from Padua and Este fled there to escape the barbaric invasions. In the 9th
century the island started to be intensely populated, and in the following centuries
its importance grew steadily, until it was governed by a dedicated
Podest\f3\′e0. There were many wars on Poveglia, as many barbarians still
wanted the people who fled there. In many cases the Poveglians won these wars,
but in 1379 Venice came under attack from the Genoan fleet; the people of
Poveglia were moved to the Giudecca, and the Venetian government built on the
island a permanent fortification, called "the Octagon," still visible
today. The island remained uninhabited in the following centuries; in 1527 the
doge offered the island to the Camaldolese monks, but they refused the offer.
In 1661 the descendants of the original inhabitants were offered to reconstruct
their village on the island, but they refused to do so.\par
In 1777 the island came under the jurisdiction of the Magistrato alla
Sanit\′e0 (Public Health Office), and became a check point for all goods and
people coming to and going from Venice by ship. In 1793, there were several
cases of the plague on two ships, and consequently the island was transformed
into a temporary confinement station for the ill (Lazzaretto); this role became
permanent in 1805, under the rule of Napoleon Bonaparte, who also had the old
church of San Vitale destroyed; the old bell tower was converted into a lighthouse.
The lazzaretto was closed in 1814.
In the 20th century the island was again used as a quarantine station, but
in 1922, the existing buildings were converted into an hospital for mentally
ill and long-term care. This went on until 1968, when the hospital was closed,
and the island, after being shortly used for agriculture, was completely
abandoned. Presently, the island is closed to locals and tourists and remains
under Italian government.
In recent times, some legends have arisen about the island. According to
legend, during Roman times it was used to isolate thousands of plague victims,
and during the three occasions when the Black Death spread through Europe, the
island was effectively used as a lazaretto and plague pit \endash it was
considered an efficient way of keeping the infected people separated from the
healthy. According to this version, over 160,000 people died on the island
throughout its history. The island used in 1576 to accommodate those hit by the
plague was not Poveglia, but Lazzaretto Nuovo.
Another legend surrounds a building erected in 1922 on the island, which
was used for various purposes, including usage as a mental hospital.[4] The
legend states that a particular mental health doctor tortured and butchered
many of the patients, before going "mad" and jumping to his death
from the bell tower. According to that same legend, he survived the fall, but
was ′strangled by a mist that came up from the ground′. Its ruins remain to
this day. The institution in question has been described as a retirement home,
but evidence on the island shows that despite the controversy, at least part of
the building housed mental patients.
The island has been featured on the paranormal reality shows Death in
Venice: Demon Doctor, Ghost Adventures and Scariest Places on Earth.
Aokigahara, also known as the Sea of Trees, is a 35-square-kilometre (14 sq
mi) forest that lies at the northwest base of Mount Fuji in Japan. The forest
contains a number of rocky, icy caverns, a few of which are popular tourist
destinations. Due to the wind-blocking density of the trees and an absence of
wildlife, the forest is known for being eerily quiet.
The forest has a historic association with demons in Japanese mythology and
is a popular place for suicides; 54 completed the act in 2010,despite numerous
signs, in Japanese and English, urging people to reconsider their actions
The forest is a popular place for suicides, reportedly the most popular in
Japan and second in the world after San Francisco′s Golden Gate
Bridge.Statistics vary. In the period leading up to 1988, about 100 suicides
occurred there every year.
In 2002, 78 bodies were found within the forest, exceeding the previous
record of 74 in 1998. In 2003, the rate climbed to 100, and in recent years,
the local government has stopped publicizing the numbers in an attempt to
downplay Aokigahara′s association with suicide. In 2004, 108 people killed
themselves in the forest. In 2010, 247 people attempted suicide in the forest,
54 of whom completed the act. Suicides are said to increase during March, the
end of the fiscal year in Japan. As of 2011, the most popular means of suicide
in the forest were hanging and drug overdoses.
The high rate of suicide has led officials to place signs in the forest, in
Japanese and English, urging those who have gone there to commit suicide to
seek help and not kill themselves. The annual body search, consisting of a
small army of police, volunteers, and attendant journalists, began in 1970.
The site′s popularity has been attributed to the 1960 novel Nami no
T\f2\u333? (\f1\′94\′67\′82\′cc\′93\′83?, lit., "Tower of Waves") by
Seich\f2\u333? Matsumoto, which ends with two lovers committing suicide in the
forest. However, the history of suicide in Aokigahara predates the novel′s
publication, and the place has long been associated with death: ubasute may
have been practiced there into the 19th century, and the forest is reputedly
haunted by the Y\u363?rei (angry spirits) of those left to die.[9]
In 2008, members of the American television programme Destination Truth
visited and investigated Aokigahara
Signs emblazoned with messages such as "Please reconsider" and
"Please consult the police before you decide to die!" are nailed to
trees throughout the forest. However, the woods have such a reputation that
these minor deterrents do little to stop the determined. Local residents say
they can always tell who is going into the forest for its stunning natural
beauty, who is hunting after the macabre and who is planning never to
return.
