This month is very, VERY important as October has many awarenesses

1. Breast Cancer Awareness 

2. Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention 

3. National Disability Employment Awareness 

4. Down Syndrome Awareness 

The list goes on. But many folks look down on those with disabilities and mental illnesses like they're crazy or toxic. I don't do well with ableist people and behavior. Ladies? Do make sure to do self breast exams daily. Last summer I learned I inherited a gene linked to breast cancer from my late mother's side(RIP mom). So far I been cancer free. I get my mammogram later this month and I am hopeful that nothing malignant is found from the screening. I'm still too young as I haven't hit forty yet in RL.
