When lost love meet ..

-Vlad Tepes -

The Rage in Vlad's eyes was unjustified; even the Anger in his eyes spoke volumes while he glared down at her. So much ran through his mind. His nails dug deeper into the oak of his chair while he glared down into her eyes. Her scent was provoking him in ways that made him dangerous, that one should be terrified or even afraid of what he could or may not do. Vlad’s nostrils flared as his eyes dilated into black pools, then turned a richer, darker shade of red, while fresh blood still tasted warm on his breath and stuck to the sides of his mouth and chin. Before he could say another word, his eyes narrowed, then squinted when he caught the stench of betrayal coming off her; he even saw her tremble, but didn’t smell Fear.

The words he said to her before, if he was being honest with himself and her, they where meant to wound, meant to cut like the sharpest knife.  The Ancient vampire didn’t need a reminder of what he had done in the past after they’re part. He already knew; he didn’t even need to voice it.  The Scent of her own Rage and the sorrow he saw in her eyes caused his eyes to follow her movements now that he had decided to take a step away from the chair while she rose in that slow, graceful movement of hers.  His eyes followed those movements of hers after she had risen from the chair, though he didn’t fuckin budge or move from where he stood. If anything, he held a hardened expression; his eyes even held that cold bitterness to them.

It was then that he saw what she made appear in her right hand: a dagger. The moment he saw that fucking weapon in her hand, a sharp, deep growl rumbled from the depths of his chest.  His eyes hardened into a dangerous glare; the glint in them became a warning as the darkness within his eyes made the crimson shade glow slightly.  What was going through that god damn head of hers? He didn’t know. It wasn’t like he was bound to her like before; that bond, their bond by blood, had faded over time, but deep down it was there still, just buried under so much rage and anger.

Then he heard her speak the words that made him look at her with a squint. The vampire still stood like a pillar that seemed to be too stubborn to move or budge. When he noticed how she looked down towards the dagger in her hand and heard how she wanted him to end this, he knew exactly what she meant by that. She wanted him to kill her, as much as he wanted to snatch that knife from her and drive straight into her heart. But what would be the point of it?.  Even if her tone held a heavy note of regret and had a quiet fury.

Vlad had been around for a very long time; he had mastered burying his pain as much as he had learned to keep it under wraps. He already dealt with the pain of what happened between them, and what did it leave? Rage and Anger. “Is that why you came here? To ask for death?!” he asked with a raging tone, his voice beaming with another wave of anger while he stood there glaring at her, looking between her and the dagger she held.  How fucking dare she! He thought he would, even with all this rage and anger, which he did not hide.  When the room filled with tension, his jaw clenched hard, to the point that he felt his fangs pierce his own flesh, which caused his lip to bleed slightly. Again, his eyes narrowed once more. She had some nerve thinking he would actually kill her, when deep down the love he still had for her had never truly gone away. After all this time, even when he married another. His love for her remained. Just like he could see it in her eyes and heard it in her voice under all the emotions she had, that she still loved him.

Again, his dark eyes followed her movements until he looked down at her. Her scent was provoking his senses. Even the fear he smelt filled his senses. His gaze shifted down to the dagger she offered him. He waited a moment, thinking about what he wanted to do, as he watched her gaze shift from sharp and fierce to that softened sadness. Without even thinking anymore, he snatched the blade from her and was moving with those fast, quick movements of his own until he had her pushed up against the wall behind her, the blade at her throat. His eyes glared and pierced hers deeply while he applied weight against the blade, watching it spill her blood, which caused his nostrils to flare and eyes to dilate. He didn’t even speak while he glared down at her, contemplating what he wanted to do.  But then he made up his mind.
Without even giving it a second thought, he pulled the blade from her throat, lowered it down to his side, before he growled, tossing it aside roughly until he heard it wedge in the cement wall from the force of his throw.  A clear sign he wasn’t giving her what she asked of him. Instead, he was quick to grip her chin with his right hand, curling his fingers around her chin. His eyes searched hers in silence. Before either of them could say another word, he did something she might not have expected in this situation: he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers, giving her a deep kiss. A kiss that was long overdue, despite all the Rage, anger, and pain both of them felt, for as long as they had.

 'Ardat Tepes '

Ardat knew he couldn't hurt her, she knew this too. She saw it in his eyes the moment she stepped into his dark, private room. He took control of the situation with an intensity that made her nervous, but not afraid. In the end, she did die the day she left him, and part of her did, but not her love. The deepest love she had ever felt in her entire life remained with him. Ardat had many lovers after Vlad.. she even married, but none of them could match the love Vlad had for her. Deep in her dark heart, Vlad was her pillar, her escape from sadness. The love she had been searching for was all in him.
He growled, furious beyond words. She truly thought he might hurt her, but she knew he would never use that dagger. Her instincts, and the love he had shown in the past, would not die so easily. Yet, their shared guilt challenged them both. She took the risk.. if he did kill her, at least she would have given him peace.
Something about her made him angry perhaps it was the denial that his love for her still lived. Little did he know she would give her life for him. It was as if she were there to pay the price for the wrongs she had done to the only demon who had ever truly shown her what it meant to be wanted.
It was only a matter of time. Temper flared in the dark
The moment she feared arrived. He grabbed the dagger from her hand and pressed it firmly against her throat. "This is it," she thought. Maybe she had been wrong that he would end her here. But his angry crimson red eyes said otherwise. His body trapped her between himself and the cold wall. Suddenly, she felt a sharp cut. Her blood trickled down her neck and chest as he tossed the dagger aside. The metallic clang echoed against the cement wall. Her heart shattered, eyes wide with a fierce yet hidden fear.
Of course, he knew her body and her instincts. At the end of everything and the very beginning, he had built love inside her, something she had never known before. Her broken voice escaped, "Vlad!" It sounded shocked, yet ready to confess the words she longed to say: "I love you." But he did not give her the chance. Suddenly, his lips pressed against hers. Her body jolted. Fear faded as warm love and angry seduction took over them both.
The anger on his lips was palpable, a fiery taste that mingled with the memories of his long, lustful, and loving kiss. His fingers still gripped her chin tightly, her heart awakened once again, beating fiercely for the man who had claimed her soul.
She returned the kiss with trembling lips, his fingers still gripping tenderly beneath her chin, anchoring her to him. Her hand trembled as it rested against his powerful chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart a mirror to her own. She didn’t fight him..her body betrayed the turmoil she tried to hide. Their kiss was desperate.. it was deep , a mingling of longing and pain, as if each touch carried the weight of all the moments they had lost. Tears welled in her eyes and slipped silently down her cheeks, betraying the storm inside her. His lips moved over hers with fierce need and quiet, demanding motion, silently confessing how deeply they had missed each other. Words were powerless now that the anger between them dissolved into a wild, aching move, a painful vulnerability that softened every hardened edge of their souls. Slowly, her slender body gave in, melting into his body, both of them hurting yet clinging to the fragile hope they found in each other’s touch.
