Amulet Darksoul's Disappearance and Awakening(Starter for Etherus and Cruxifix)Category: Blogging

It was all supposed to go so smoothly.
She sent her spies from her husband's Kingdom, her new Kingdom since
hers fell many years prior to their marriage, to gain intel, then once
she had all the information on the unfortunate clan she planned to
invade and destroy herself to gain another realm for her husband's
kingdom to expand was gathered she herself would go and take care of
things on her own despite her husband Etherus’ advice and wishes and
even her sister wife Cruxifix, although she had tangled webs in her
heart of uncertainty for her feelings towards the beautifully dark woman
so she pushed her away. For too long had she sat by his side and danced
with the politics of war and invading others. This was not a war; this
was a genocide one that only an Unseelie could accomplish, and she would
be that Unseelie. This was to be sheer brutality, the only kind she
unleashed to quench her ever flowing rage towards her sister for her
betrayal even though it may have been centuries ago, Amulet did not
forgive, and she certainly did not forget. Every once in a while, she
had to be free to be herself, a cold, dark, evil, and conniving Unseelie
Fae that took pleasure in the massacres of her own kind. She had done
this a few times before with no issue and always returned in a more
relaxed state. Little did anyone know this would not be anything close
to what she had done in the past.
To the realm of Fae’s she would enter as a traveler or tradeswoman but
then the real reason for infiltrating their sealed off and secret world
would begin when the moon was high in the sky and she could unleash her
ultimate form being an Unseelie meant she already had control over
darkness and being an elemental Ice Fae she would have power over that
element, her skin would turn white as well as her eyes and ice would
form around her and with every step she took. She could erupt massive
spikes of ice from the ground and shoot sharp sickles out of her hands
that would rip through their victim so quickly they would still be
trying to process what happened before their blood began to pool or
their body would split in two. She also could create a staff that would
harness her power over the element of ice and darkness and cast many
damaging spells with a wide area of attack as well as shoot concentrated
orbs of dark matter that would explode on impact and send out ice like
shrapnel while destroying walls and homes. She rarely let anyone see her
true Unseelie form but those who did, did not live long to speak of it.

Once she had everything she needed and the time to strike came during a
festival celebration of their realm's long health and ironic sort of
way it would mark the day of their devastation as well, she gathered her
needed supplies and disguise not that any would know of her other than
possibly as the wife of the Dark Emperor Etherus Darksoul it was better
to be safe than sorry. She kissed her husband goodbye as she pulled her
cloak hood over her head and made sure to say farewell to Cruxifix, she
also did so to the few other sister wives she knew. She slipped out of
the Kingdom and its lands on a horse made of ice knowing it was a
three-day journey until she reached the not so well-hidden portal only
fae kind could see that led to the realm. She arrived during the day
when the festivities where in full display, her horse shattered and
falling like fresh snow just outside before she had entered so none
would see it. She smiled as she allowed the people to enjoy their
celebration, drinking with them and dancing traditional dances of her
kin that she almost forgotten being away from them for so long. She
hardly kept the company of other Fae’s mostly because as an Unseelie
many feared they would be killed and who was to say they would not? It
was indeed something to be fearful of. As she sat near their lake
watching them race enchanted boats announcements were made, a lantern
festival would occur as soon as night fell, the perfect time for her to
attack.

She watched as the sun set and soon dusk would turn into night. She
decided to come from their forest, starting in the center as she took on
her true form and conjured enough dark matter that it sent a vast wave
that caused the trees to decay and ice to form on their drooping
branched and deep down at their roots into the ground water freezing it
under the Fae’s feet without their knowledge. There was a spark that
could be seen from miles, and she heard the music slowly come to a halt
and the murmurs of the crowd in town just outside their ruler's palace.
She then emerged from that blackened and cursed forest and made her way
to the town, a path of ice trailing behind her where she walked like the
train of a wedding gown. The ruler immediately called for his forces,
but he had so few for they never imagined being attacked before, many of
the modern day fae forgetting the threats of Unseelie’s. She stopped as
his men all lined up in front of her forming a wall between her and the
town. This made her laugh. She then cast a dark grin to them and
suddenly raised her hands into the air and just as she did spikes began
to rip from the ground from the frozen ground water and impaled several
as the others panicked and tried to retreat but it was too late as she
put her hand to her left shoulder and fanned it out causing sickles of
ice to fly faster than they could run and tear through their armor and
bodies began to drop.

She approached again and the stragglers that remained she summoned
hounds of darkness that towered over them to feast on them as they
begged for mercy and surrendered only to join her sides when they
finished off the soldiers. “Is that really the best you can do?” She
asked the ruler mockingly as the townspeople began to panic, a panic
that turned the group into a meat grinder as they knocked over other and
killed them by trampling on their bodies. Children were screaming and
crying, and she tapped her tongue against her teeth. “Tsk.” And the
hounds took off towards the crowd as she caused more spikes of ice to
impale any unfortunates in their path. She then saw the ruler take off
like a coward and lock himself in his palace and from her past
experience in doing the same she shook her head as he listened to his
people dying and in agony. She used her staff to shoot orbs of dark
matter at townsfolk and dark matter the way she used it was corrosive so
when it hit a target it would immediately eat through tissue, bone, and
even leave gaping holes where it forced organs out from bodies in an
explosion. It only took her a half hour to ensure every person was dead,
her hounds finishing off any still breathing and then she turned her
attention to the palace.

She took her staff and hit the end of it hard into the stone street
which caused a bright black and purple circle to form around her with
many sigils and then like a vortex the energy pulled the darkness from
the dead and the head of the staff began to form a ball of dark matter
with this energy, growing larger and larger while also draining her
until it was the size of a small moon. She then cast it at the palace
and once it hit, the palace shattered like glass into a fine sand with
the ruler inside it unable to stop it. She looked over her work with
pride as the orb also destroyed any other structures leaving the land of
the realm in ruins and a never-ending darkness. She was about to leave
when something grew a bright light almost blinding her.

One piece of intel that was not gathered was the being whom this realm
of fae worshipped. This being, seeing what she had done to its disciples
grew angry and put her hand out blasting Amulet with a bright light
that knocked her back. Amulet knew she was no match for a goddess, but
she refused to apologize for what she had done and even told the being
shed still do it all over again. The being then cast judgement upon her,
a death like sleep in the realm that she destroyed in which she would
battle her way through whatever creatures lurked in her nightmarish
slumber until death took her or she managed to defeat and find her way
out only than could she awaken but she was warned that it was an
impossible task.

Amulet could not speak before her body hit the ground, her hounds
disappearing and her normal form taking over. She was then laid upon a
stone slab in the center of the realm and in her mind there where
monstrosity's she had never seen before. Her life force became hidden
and so her Husband and even Cruixifix felt as though she had died and no
matter how long they searched, Amulet was lost to them. Ultimately, he
gave up the search after a few years and accepted blame for not making
her take others with her as was his way, the kindness he had that made
him bare a cross he could not have helped or forced her even if she
wanted him to. Life moved on and soon Amulet was forgotten, left as
though in the land of the dead. Inside her body she was trapped and
battled, for four centuries she searched the depths of the cursed place
she was sent to in order to find her escape and once she did, her eyes
snapped open and a shockwave was sent out, her life force suddenly
exploded back into the world.

She was weak from the battles she had fought and from being asleep so
long, but she did the impossible and survived the slumber and its
creatures although internally she held scars from close calls. She
exited the realm with her cloak pulled around her, sitting on the road
travelers used and she tried to piece together how to get home or if she
even still had one, she did not even know how long it had been all she
knew is she wanted to see her husband and sister wife. Her heart longed
to be reunited with them and without her knowing it, it rang out like a
bell to them to come and find her and bring her home.
