The long awaited wedding

While many spent a good portion of their lives pondering whom they would be with. Zosar Mathews had known since he was young to whom he would be wed. He had been betrothed to Princess Kora Corvinus, while they were originally bound to betrothed as a political arrangement between their parents as a way to secure everlasting alliance between the Realm of Blood and the Plaguelands. After years of preparation and much discussion they had chosen to situate the wedding at a beautiful and peaceful vista upon the borders between both the realm.
 Zosar stood at the summit looking down upon the lake it was a place he knew well it was a place he and Kora had visited often. Standing there in a pure white suit he took a long slow breath as he waited silently as already guests were beginning to arrive. He touched the hilt of the blade that sat at his hip it was ceremonial and nature but represented his oath to defend not only his homeland but that of his extended family. He looked around as the crowd gathered looking for any faces he knew well before glancing to the priest whoo stood before the altar blind and ancient he seemed to stare through Zosar making his heart bound a fraction faster. Upon the altar sat a gold goblet enshrined to the Blood God. A multicolored length of silk binding cloth to honor the Changer of ways to bind their union. A curved deep green dagger dripping a venmous toxin the hilt bearing the crest of the Plaguelands. Finally was set a pair of black rings marked that were filled it was said with the essence of life, death and rebirth.
