Many years ago, Queen Elsa of Arendelle had a daughter named Arceia. At the age of sixteen, Arceia began to realize that one day she'd have to become queen, and the young girl, who would have that much power and responsibility feared that more than anything. Ruling a kingdom was far too much pressure. After hearing rumors of a powerful sorcerer in Misthaven from her aunt Anna, the young princess left Arendelle and her family in the middle of the night, setting sail for this strange land and the sorcerer that she hoped would save her from her royal fate.

Upon reaching Misthaven, she immediately began asking around for the sorcerer. Many people didn't want to say his name, and advised her against seeing him, but Arceia was young and scared. Two things that were making her not think very clearly. Finally she located the man named Rumplestiltskin and he seemed not surprised to see her. He even knew what she wanted before she asked. A deal was struck. In exchange for him using a magic bean to send her to a different land, she'd have to give him the throne of Arendelle when she became queen. Arceia signed the deal, thinking that was a price she'd never have to pay.

Years passed as Arceia lived a non princess style life in Camelot. She made friends, got a job and fell in love with a handsome young man named Alexander Pendragon. Like her, he had a royal family and destiny too. But both wanted normal non royal lives. The first step to that in their eyes was to get married, which they did immediately. Having her own family was nice but she had times were she missed her mom and aunt. Though she tried hard to just focus on her friends, Alex and getting a job.

But word was soon sent that her mother and aunt were now in a new world. A land without magic. Storybrooke, Maine to be exact. Arceia had to see her mom and at the very least try to explain to her why she left. However by the time she made it to the small town, Elsa and Anna had already returned home to Arendelle. Sitting on the dock, she stared into the ocean, finally realizing how much she regretted leaving Arendelle. Granted by leaving she found her true love but she missed her family. And she feared she'd never see them again. Then she heard the last voice she ever thought she'd hear. "Hello dearie." Arceia's skin crawled as she slowly turned around to see Rumplestiltskin standing in front of her. He looked different but his voice was unmistakable. "Don't forget our deal." He smiled at her, then walked away, leaving Arceia with a sense of dread. Not knowing what else to do, she dropped to her knees and began to cry.
