Creation of Astarte

Almost 18 years before Nymphaea had taken the throne, and taken Set's soul, locking it away, there was a time when she had fallen to the charm of the God. The promises to build something great, and for her to take his side, swayed her. Enough to blind her from his ignorance. The Daughter of the Dead would soon become his consort and his future bride. 

It wasn't until many months, that Nymphaea had brought up the idea to Set about creating a being born from their powers, seeing as Set was an infertile god, being the God of the Desert, life could not grow, therefore his seed could not bring forth children. Despite this, he had always been jealous of those who could, this idea that Nymphaea had brought forth would be a solution to what they had both wanted. Set would get his child, born from clay, their blood, and both of their powers combined. Therefore, the Golem of their daughter would be made. Astarte.

The ritual took place on the day the sun was the brightest and the hottest. Sending their blessings to Ra, to bless their creation. And the moment the sun started to disappear, it was finished, and their little creation was there. A baby, a vessel of their power. Their daughter.

The more the child grew older, the more Set put his planes in motion, all claiming it was for their child to live in a new, and better Egypt. His plans to reshape and recreate the Realm in his eyes, became more devious, opening Nymphaea's blindness to see what the future really held. She grew unhappy, but she remained as she was, helping raise their daughter until she was nearly an adult., Astarte becoming an almost split image of Set, both look wise, and personality, set on War and destruction, agreeing with her Father's plans through and through. 

And on Astarte's 18th birthday, Nymphaea had done what she had planned for many years. While Set was sleeping, she plunged a dagger made from the Souls of the Underworld, deep within Set's chest. taking his soul and locking it away. When she had announced her betrayal of Set, it led forth her becoming the New Queen, and sole ruler of Egypt. Astarte had a hard time dealing with the news and had run off with Set's worshippers. Though it did not take her long, for her to return to her mother, after soon learning and seeing the true plans Set once had. Finally, Astarte had reunited with her mother, and for now, the growing storm was soothed, just for the moment.
