Ho-jeong and Jin-hie: Tragic Enemies
Category: Blogging

(Influenced by and partially based on one of my favorite movies of all time, the classic Asian horror film "Phone". I love these two characters so much and they were among the first ones I ever roleplayed, and it was truly enjoyable to explore their deepest emotions as they became more aggressively hostile, while at the same time also maintaining a certain amount of respect and admiration for one another! I put a different spin on things from the original movie, because I plan on eventually writing another fan fiction story about "Phone", in which Ho-jeong is the more aggressive one of the two, although I may still yet write another story that completely follows the main parts of the film from start to finish. Needless to say, I love this movie dearly and feel such a strong connection to both Ho-jeong and Jin-hie!)

Ho-jeong:

Jin-hie:

Ho-jeong was trying to relax after another productive yet boring day of work, but found it difficult because of certain troublesome issues in her life. Chang-hoon had been acting rather strange lately, and they rarely made love anymore. She could sense something was terribly wrong, and began to suspect her husband of having an affair. The more Ho-jeong looked into the dire situation, the more jealous and disgusted she became. Chang-hoon denied everything of course, but she knew better than to believe his flimsy lies. Ho-jeong would not rest until she found out the truth behind this whole sordid incident.

Jin-hie felt great about her life, and had finally gotten the attention she deserved. Chang-hoon was a wonderful lover, and they could not get enough of one another! This went on for several months, until Jin-hie suddenly noticed something was wrong with her stomach. She threw up every now and then, and felt dizzy and weak at times. Finally, she went and got a pregnancy test kit, which quickly confirmed her already mounting suspicions. Jin-hie was now pregnant, and could not wait to share the good news with Chang-hoon! But he had been acting different lately, and wanted to break off their relationship and return to Ho-jeong. Jin-hie felt betrayed and used, but perhaps it was not too late to save everything.

After finding out Jin-hie's number was left on her husband's phone, Ho-jeong became very angry and upset, but was more worried about the effect it might have on poor Yeong-ju. Perhaps if she could talk to this young woman, she might convince her to leave Chang-hoon and also abort the unborn baby as well. To discover he had gotten Jin-hie pregnant was a particularly nasty shock, but Ho-jeong forced herself to remain calm until things were over. She had in fact talked to Chang-hoon and told him about everything, and though it was difficult, he agreed to leave Jin-hie for good and come back to his wife. How the disturbed teenager would react to this, was anyone's guess.

Jin-hie heard her phone vibrate, and finally thought Chang-hoon was texting her after all! She saw the message and became very excited, and quickly agreed to meet him at the usual place. It was with great joy and anticipation that Jin-hie rushed to see her lover, but instead of Chang-hoon, his miserable wife Ho-jeong was there! It had all been a setup, and though angry, the young woman was also nervous about confronting this jealous, insecure female. The cold look on Ho-jeong's face told Jin-hie she knew all about both the affair and pregnancy too, so there was no use denying anything now. The drive back to that house was the longest one in her life, and Jin-hie did not look forward to talking with her now sworn enemy, Ho-jeong, who was deep in thought at the moment.

Ho-jeong: So finally this bitch is here now! I at last saw the young woman who had dared to interfere in my perfect family's life. Part of me wanted to choke the life from her right then and there, but I also knew that being rational and talking about things might indeed solve these problems more easily.

Ho-jeong was happy she had fooled Jin-hie into meeting her, but there remained no time for celebration. The two women drove back to the house, and Ho-jeong still kept the same cold and distant expression on her, while Jin-hie was nervous but also defiant. After exiting the vehicle and taking their respective seats across from one another once inside the house, there they sat, not talking for several minutes, which seemed to pass as an eternity. Finally, Ho-jeong spoke, and made sure to get her point across to this foolish, immature young woman.

"You need to stop this nonsense right now. Having a baby is a big responsibility, and you're in no condition to raise it. Please Jin-hie, abort the unborn child and leave my husband at once. Quit living in a fairy tale, and wake up! Life's hard and full of tough choices, and you must learn many tough and difficult lessons before ever calling yourself a woman!"

Jin-hie was in fact more than a little nervous at first, and did not know what to say or do. She had been exposed as Chang-hoon's lover, and to make matters worse, was also pregnant with his child. But soon her cocky attitude returned, and she would not give Ho-jeong the satisfaction of feeling humiliated or defeated. After hearing the words of this miserable woman, Jin-hie got up and finally spoke her mind.

"Me, living in a fairy tale? You're full of shit bitch! Get real! He loves me, not you! We made this baby together, and I'm gonna keep it and raise it no matter what you say! Unlike you, I actually became pregnant naturally, and am perfectly willing to take responsibility for everything. I know life is hard, but already I'm more of a woman that you'll ever be! You're a cold, unemotional, pathetic excuse for a woman, and I bet you'd be surprised at what I'm about to say next! Me and Chang-hoon had sex almost every day, and made love in the very bed where you and him slept! Ha! That's right, while you were away at work, we made love in this house, in his car, in the park, you name it we did it! Yes, he was always too tired to be intimate with you, because I wore him out all day and night! Now face it, I'm keeping the baby and that's final!"

Ho-jeong was extremely shocked and stunned by these sordid revelations! She knew of the affair, but not about how extensive it really was, so to hear Jin-hie boast of sleeping in her very own bed was almost too much for sanity to bear! How dare this miserable little slut violate Ho-jeong's personal property and space! She now felt herself becoming quite angry and upset, wanting nothing more than to slap the taste right out of Jin-hie's arrogant face! But, thinking about Yeong-ju and Chang-hoon, Ho-jeong tried to calm herself back down as best she could, and was willing to let things slide for the sake of her marriage. However, Jin-hie deserved a firm response, because Ho-jeong still had a great deal of pride left, despite all that already happened thus far.

"Is that a fact? Well, are you for real Jin-hie? You're not working anywhere and are still in school, and Chang-hoon can't afford to support both his family and your baby at the same time. Please either abort it or give the child up for adoption, because the reality will set in sooner than you could ever think! Consider my situation. I carried Yeong-ju for 9 whole months, and endured pain and agony which you've never dreamed of! Someone like yourself is much too young to pretend being an adult woman, so let's stop this nonsense at once. Damn you Jin-hie!"

Ho-jeong finally had enough, and slapped Jin-hie's face as hard as possible, knocking the young woman to the floor and busting her mouth open in the process.

"You fucking bitch!! That hurt like hell!! I'm gonna kill you for this Ho-jeong!!"

Jin-hie wiped the blood from her mouth, then suddenly lunged at her sworn enemy, knocking Ho-jeong down and laughing as she violently began choking the older woman. All that pent up hatred and rage was finally coming out now, and she smiled evilly as Ho-jeong struggled to escape. They had tried talking things through, but it was simply not to be. Chang-hoon eventually would find out the truth, but Jin-hie had other ideas. She would throw Ho-jeong's dead body down the stairs, making it look like a tragic accident, and then later perhaps he and his young teenage lover would reunite for good. Even as these thoughts crossed her mind, Jin-hie kept choking Ho-jeong while also screaming at her as well, feeling absolutely insane with madness the whole time. But just when it looked like that pathetic bitch was finished, something else happened instead, and the next thing she knew, Jin-hie went flying down the stairs, breaking bones and suffering internal bleeding as a result of Ho-jeong at last overpowering her. What the fuck happened??!! One moment everything was going her way, and the next thing Jin-hie remembers, Ho-jeong is standing above her broken, crumpled body, ready to finish this whole miserable affair once and for all.

"No please, don't kill me Ho-jeong! I've... got to... call Chang-hoon... if I can only... reach the phone... but I'm so... weak......"

"But Jin-hie, you gave me no choice. I'm truly sorry, but you have to die."

Ho-jeong got down on her knees, gently holding Jin-hie's head in her arms as she began crying. She stroked her hair and whispered an apology, then let go when Jin-hie's eyes closed. The older woman then began to wrap her body in plastic, but could not quite pry the cell phone from Jin-hie's hand. Perhaps death had caused the grip to tighten, but no matter what, Ho-jeong must get rid of this dead body soon. Just when she thought of an idea for proper disposal, the phone suddenly rang! A look of shock came over her eyes as Jin-hie stood back up, and began moving slowly toward Ho-jeong. Out of desperation, the older woman suddenly grabbed a large statue from on top of a nearby book stand, and violently swung it at Jin-hie, cracking her skull with a sickening thud, and the young woman fell to the ground once more, finally dead this time! Ho-jeong could at last breath a sigh of relief, but must act quickly now. She would bury Jin-hie standing face up, behind the wall! Yes, that was a brilliant idea indeed! She got a nail gun and began nailing Jin-hie's hands, then proceeded to plaster the wall up, to hide any evidence of this tragic murder. Ho-jeong worked for several hours, and it was far from easy, but finally things were finished. Now the next step was to kill her no good, cheating husband Chang-hoon! He deserved to die for daring to cheat on Ho-jeong! And then, that meddling Ji-won would be next! All part of her master plan of revenge and retribution!

Jin-hie was now dead, and her body buried behind the wall, yet somehow she refused to rest in peace. Her vengeful spirit began haunting people who had gotten cell phones with the same number she once had, and one by one they died cruel, horrible deaths. But yet, Jin-hie somehow felt the need to save Ji-won from all harm, and more than once had already done so. Perhaps it was because she was the only person who cared enough to investigate matters more fully, and get to the bottom of why Jin-hie died. As for Ho-jeong, the ghost haunted her every now and then, but seemed to be waiting for just the right moment to gain revenge. She possessed poor Yeong-ju, putting the little girl in a coma by forcing her to fall down the stairs, and was very angry with Chang-hoon for his actions. After Ho-jeong murdered him, Jin-hie felt no great sorrow, and was glad this arrogant, backstabbing man had died and gotten what he so justly deserved! But Ji-won's situation was different. The ghost would not allow Ho-jeong to kill her too, so Jin-hie proceeded to finally put an end to that sick, demented woman's life! As Ji-won struggled to free herself from the ropes while her hands were tied behind a chair, Ho-jeong threw gasoline on the entire crime scene, and was about to burn the defenseless woman alive, when suddenly her lighter went out. She tried several times to start it again, but the emerging form of the dead Jin-hie changed things dramatically. There was nothing Ho-jeong could do, except die with a look of horror on her face, as the vengeful spirit slowly moved closer!

"You also give me no choice Ho-jeong. I'm deeply sorry, but there is no other way."

Jin-hie began strangling Ho-jeong, slowly squeezing the life out of her hated enemy! She enjoyed every single second of this, and did not stop until the human was long dead! Releasing her grip, Jin-hie returned to the exact same spot she was before, so that Ji-won could not even tell anything had happened, except that Ho-jeong now lay dead on the floor. Yet despite finally gaining revenge for what happened earlier, tears of sorrow and regret were now flowing down Jin-hie's face, even after the wall was sealed back up and not a trance remained for anyone except law enforcement to eventually find. Only after they both were dead, did Jin-hie regret not only causing the death of Ho-jeong, because each woman had been used and taken advantage of by the real cause of this madness, the manipulative Chang-hoon, she also felt great sorrow for her own tragically cut short life as well, yet perhaps in the afterlife her restless spirit could at last find everlasting peace.
