Something wicked this way comes..{TAK}{BK}
Category: Uncategorized

The inner conflict grew stronger and stronger a the dark force that had pried him from his grave showed him memories of his own death alone deep in the mountain as he was trapped as the Worldstone erupted half burned he was eaten while he still drew breath. The voices echoed still, "They left you to die. They abandoned you..You died for nothing..Alone and forgotten..They should suffer..They should burn.." Fayte remained still as he argued inwardly with himself " The alignment draws near the worlds are blanketed in darkness as day has become night..The preparations must be attended to they will all burn...And the Great city will sink beneath the waves.." Fayte was barely aware he was moving as he ran a small curved dagger along his wrists as his blood trickled to the ground he knew the magic he was awakening was a violation of nature as he uttered the incantations as he poisoned the wellspring of light magic with his blood a darkness would hold on any that would use magic a madness would ensue, chaos would rise. In the darkness he crouched as he turned over the broken handle of the dagger he had once wielded as a youth he could recall the blood it had spilt every face of those he had killed for his just cause he remembered placing it the woman that became his teacher. He recalled his first kiss with the woman he loved and seeking her hand in marriage. The pain that tore through him made him howl in anguish "This world is pain, all suffer I can..I should silence their suffering.."

The darkneing sky was but the first portent of what was to come as the world became locked in an eternal night as the sun was eclipsed and the skies torn open as the ethereal and demonic realms burst upon the mortal realm legion upon legion would descend beasts that had not been seen upon the mortal coil in millenia. Draconic like demon's unleashed their flame upon the land scorching the earth as the very fabric of creation shuddered under the forces that were being unleashed. Large seeming meterorite like shapes descended upon the lands smashing into the ground in flashes of green flame as the ground shuddered under impact after impact as the rock's settled they rose into vast golem wreathed in dark green flames the beast's roared as they rampaged through the lands.

As the first wave struck the lands of Atlantis they were little more than a prelude as an ancient long forgotten tower rose from th sea east of Atlantis. As the black spire rose from the depths the sounds of unearthly drums filled the air as first a few sails appeared upon the horizon as foul mist swept up from the oceans and fell upon the lands. The long dread drums began to beat louder and loader as the dark ships sailed closer and closer, ships carved from bone, their sails that of still living flesh the ships were crewed by the damned that had fallen to the vast might of the Atlantian navy risen again for one purpose.

Standing at the highest spire of the tower Fayte stood still and silent his dark robes moving in an unatural breeze as he studied the scene below. Something had reached in pulling him back from the abyss of his unnatural death his mind twisted and poisoned by grief and hate. He could feel the anguish and pain of those that had been torn from this coil and moreso those that remained he longed to bring them salvation. The only way true salvation could come by clensing this world in fire and bringing them eternal peace.

Having worked to build the very magical barriers that protected the city during it's last wore he struck his staff on the ground as he watched the barriers begin to unravel and dissolve as he countered their magic. Reaching to the source of magical energy he could feel the taint that which he had himself brought into being by posioning the wellspring of life itself.

Atlantis was a kingdom used to war a realm of legends yet how would they weather the unending tide of destruction that was to be wrought upon them. Uttering under his breath the slumbering trees began to stir as they would in times of war yet instead of obeying their wardens they snarled and flailed as they turned upon their guardians the ancient spirits of the forests had been tainted poisoned by a similar darkness that had ensnared Fayte.

Reaching into his robe Fayte removed the once clear Worldstone a crystal of immesurable power that was once a mix of deep green blue now the sphere pulsated with dark energy as tendrils of darkness cascaded across it's surface. His deep green eyes fixed on the corrupted object as a flash of light cascaded from the orb as yet more rifts tore the fabric of reality as yet more demonic warriors surged forth.

"So it begins.."
The dark tower stood like a shining beacon of darkness as Fayte sat in the grand hall he watched the scantily clad females and males impassively as they frolliced in their ancient tribal dance. Their magic was old older than established orders of magic it was primal and raw and fuelled by all manner of emotions there was no dark nor light just the power to wield and the power to succumb. Studying the reports of the first waves to arrive he nodded his dark red eyes burning with malice and unconstrained rage. "All shalll burn soon I shall unvel to them their fate and they shall learn the price of their..betrayal." He turned suddenly his eyes shimmering a deep green his tone changing too.. "Please.." The eyes flared back red as he slammed his fist down, " I have told you, Mouse..Get back inthe shadows unless you want to go back in the cage they wil burn I shall pusnish them for all they have done to us..They are used to war and death yet lets see how they deal with a foe that is not out to conqour them. Hestarted to grin as he laughed hysterically.

Fayte watched with a bemused smile as the Empress left he could feel the tremendous drain of power as he still maintained his upright posture as the internal battle became as harsh and as brutal as she left he said not one word just gave her a simple playful smile only as she she moved to leave he made his way in the opposite direction only at the last moment did he speak

"Quite the one to speak of delusions tell me me when was the last time your realm ran so freely with blood as those that you have in the past slain. You assume anything of him remains that you are all above reproach for the actions you have wrought run if you wish though bear these words with you, you will feel the pain of every single one you have killed the weeping of their widows will ring in thy ears for that is my curse upon you." Laughing insanely as he faded from sight he let he leave without further reproach.

Making his way to his private sanctum he turned his attention to the on going war the Atlanteans were resisting as was their nature and part of him pondered did they truly know the depth what they were doing or was fighting all they truly knew. He knew the rifts had been sealed but then that was inevitable he did however mutter a curse when he noted that someone had released that damn Nephalem and he was countering the effects to sink Atlantis,

"Should have smashed him into tiny pieces when I had the chance..." Slamming his fist on the table he uttered a curse as pain pulsed through his body. He was also acutely aware of another presence drawing near he knew this one or at least Mouse had. As Strife entered his fortress he muttered a curse,

"What is it with people and interrupting me today has nobody even heard of a doorbell hmm.. no they just slam into my home like they own it.." He waited silently having ensured the rest of his servants stayed away. The purifying essence that surrounded strife seemed to have removed his demons but then there were those that would not be so effected. Having finally unlocked the encased Worldstone he smiled faintly as the gem at it's heart slid free having one of the Wytches complete the ritual he felt the gem dissolve into his flesh merging inside him as it became joined with both of his souls. It meant the light side of himself having access annoyingly but he had all but stamped him into oblivion. As Strife made his appearance Fayte gave him a mock bow though was not surprised when the guardian took what had been in the safe keeping of his clan for untold millennia he made a feint to try to grasp it despite its empty nature with only a bare residual of it's essence remaining,

"Well well so you think to lecture me hmm.. What makes you think You have the right to hold that any more than I..Your self appointed role as keeper of all things dangerous what will you do next lock up all the weapons in the world and see to it that we all get scolded as naughty children. You will leave this abode though know that not all things belong to the Light and that trying to corrupt something to light can do as much harm as dark. I suggest you leave...Old friend" Smiling he stepped back as he touched the mirror that lay behind him a gateway formed to the vault of the tower "See Mouse in the end they always leave, and you always fail they have abandoned you to me for eternity." Stepping through he inhaled one last gasp of air as he collapsed as the portal snapped shut. The tower itself began to tremble as it began to seal itself and descend beneath the waves.

Upon the land in order to prevent the Atlanteans from pursuing the warriors that had been aboard the ships dragged themselves to the surface though they were touched by the cold they were as Fayte dual in nature dressed in bright colours the Harlequins of Pandemonium surged forth dancing their endless dance of death and insanity one caress from their blades enough to drive a man to attack his own. Controlled by the darker Fayte they charged forth than suddenly stopped as their allegiance was altered. They did not however engage the Atlanteans instead they held their ground barring any from travelling to the falling tower.

Fayte himself fell within the void the battle that waged inside him was one of pure desperation both grasping the power of the Worldstone. Finding himself drifting in a shifting ghost like version of Atlantis Fayte found himself dressed in black a black sword in hand. Opposite him a mirror image of himself stood dressed in white his blade as white as he was in fact dark within.

"Sure you are ready for this old friend you know you can not kill me after all you are me...I am you.." Fayte raised his blade as he darted forward his blade striking that of his adversary as they locked in conflict,

"You are a part of me but this..ends..You will no longer harm them.." The Dark Fayte countered striking his blade hard enough to force the lighter Fayte to withdraw a step.

"Why now..Hmm we are just having fun.." The two of them exchanged a flurry of blows each one countered in perfect unison. Minutes passing to hours the world around him crashing down as the tower crumbled "..If I cannot have you..Nobody shall."

Empress Nyghtwolfe Orcus **SOS**ROM**TAK**

Still in her mist form, the Gangrel goddess swept along with the wind back to her castle. She felt a very drastic and sudden change in the temperature as the castle loomed into sight. Fear struck her heart and mind. In her mist form, she was beginning to freeze into solid ice crystal. She drifted back into her castle tower window and scattered across the floor with the tinkling sound of ice. Shivering uncontrollably as the icy blast deposited her swirling mist in the form of hardened crystals, Nyghtwolfe had to exert great effort to transform back to her human self.

Her skin was pale blue, her hair stiff and encrusted, fingers gnarled with severe arthritis. She hobbled over to her closet and yanked out the warmest bathrobe that she owned, stripping herself of the frozen clothing that she wore and as quickly as her frostbitten hands could manage, pulled the plush soft robe on over her naked, cold body. A handmaiden rushed in to help her. Nyghtwolfe spoke through chattering teeth, “Get a fire going now! What has happened here?! Why has all of Atlantis froze over like this?”

A few minutes later, as she huddled by the now blazing hearth, Nyghtwolfe listened to the excited tittle-tattle ramblings of her handmaiden, who was vigorously massage rubbing circulation back into the Empress’ blue skinned body.

“The demons were everywhere! And … and Maia, the druid downstairs in the foyer … well she did some magic spell to call forth an ice wolf out of thin air! MiLady, I ain’t never seen such a thing afore as that big snow wolf!! His eyes were rich azure blue and he was this all powerful magical beast and blasted the iron door down!!”

The handmaiden had to stop and catch her breath. Thick plumes of her warm breath coagulated in the frozen air. Nyghtwolfe’s body was beginning to warm up. Her shivering stopped and the vigorous massage helped return her skin back to the normal pallid color. Bundled in her robe, clenched up to her neck, she finally was able to walk to the window and look out across the terrain of Atlantis. As far as her eyes could see, the land was frozen, icicles clinging to the trees. It was a winter wonderland. She smiled in the silent beauty of it. There were no more flying demons, no more golems causing citywide explosions, no more evil hostile things lurking around. Her Kingdom was dead silent and serene once again.

She heard a melody of women sobbing from somewhere down below. Thanking the handmaiden with gratefulness in her eyes and voice, Nyghtwolfe stuffed her feet into a pair of cozy slippers and hurried down the long curved staircase. There she met her druid friend Maia aiding the injured survivors with her healing magic. The foyer was crowded with a montage of injured people.

“Who did you summon m’dear friend?”, Nyghtwolfe had to ask.
“Strife”, came the response, “He has imbued holy magic with wintery weather to combat the evil that was unleashed. He has also sealed all the rifts. Last I saw, he was traveling towards that dark fortress where you were heading for before.”
Nyghtwolfe nodded, feeling the chill of the air quickly thickening her blood again. Although she was tainted with a dark soul, she was not pure evil or maleficent in her heart, therefore Strife’s powerful magic would not fully affect her.

Nyghtwolfe spoke authoritatively, “I need you Maia, to do what you do best, which is healing those that need it. When you’re done here, go with my troops into the ruined cities.”

“Where are what’s left of my soldiers? I want sleds of food and supplies, blankets, warm clothing, hats, gloves and jackets, and electric heaters delivered to each of our towns and cities. Let’s give our people the assistance they need to survive this unexpected winter! Move it! Let’s go, let’s go!” She clapped her hands sharply, shouting the orders.

Nyla Melia Orcus *TAK* In Love with Kyler

Nyla’s eyes slowly opened; she looked up from the couch where Maia had placed her to heal. She saw Maia, and she saw her father, Apollo. The creatures had really done a lot of damage to her; every bone in her body still ached. “Hello, Dad,” she said to her father, in a soft voice. She still couldn’t sit up, so she just lay there, as she fully returned to consciousness. “The battle with the creatures..and Fayte…what happened? Is it over? Is there much damage to Atlantis?” she asked both Maia and her father.

Nyla Melia Orcus *TAK* In Love with Kyler

As Nyla ran from the family home, she felt the darkness within her grow. She regained her humanoid form, but now, blood began to flow from her eyes, nose, and mouth. The trees of the forest she had run into seemed to reach out their branches to her, wrapping her up inside them. When they let her go, Nyla was wrapped in a sort of cocoon made of tree bark.

Nyla Melia Orcus *TAK* In Love with Kyler

The cocoon the tree branches had formed around Nyla shifted, and stirred. It then split open, and Nyla stepped out from it. She was changed from when she went in. Her eyes were white, with no pupils, and her hair was longer, and a pale white in color. Her body breathed with the power of a Goddess; no longer was she simply Nyla. The Meliae of the forest had healed her of the darkness within, and in doing so, Nyla was no longer just Nyla. Now, she was the avatar of the Goddess Dafrea, the Goddess Nyla had come to know while she lived among the Meliae. Nyla/Dafrea used her new abilities to levitate off the ground, and the newly born avatar rushed to the defense of Atlantis, before it was gone forever.

With the untimely sacrificial death of the Atlantean nephalem, a newborn nephalem wailed its first cries in the world, her reincarnation powers derived from that of her predecessors. The offspring of angel and demon was a regenerative necessity to keep an order of balance between good and evil in the world of mankind. Such is the curse upon the nephalem that each successive generation inherits the burden of all sins and retains all the memories of joy from its previous self. Her torturous death at the hands of the Pandemonium wytches would set the course of her new life and the powers that she would adapt to as she grew older in her new life. The parents who fostered this infant nephalem had no clue of the child’s reincarnation of soul. Even as Nyghtwolfe cringed with the death of her royal oracle, she felt her life reborn with a new purpose and destiny, yet unwritten.

“You bastard”, she choked out the vehemence words at Fayte and turned her face away from him lest he see the hatred burn in her eyes. No!! Fayte was her dear and loyal friend; she forcefully reminded herself of this fact. This was not her friend Fayte performing this act of atrocity upon her beloved Atlantis. This monster was not her friend. The core of Pandemonium she knew was a nexus between the High Heavens above and Burning Hells below. This imposter Fayte was summoning the siege beasts from the nether-regions to rampage Atlantis, but he was not the only one who had access to the Pandemonium’s dominion.

Nyghtwolfe had been born as Artemis, daughter of Zeus, goddess of the hunt. Her body trembled now as she closed her eyes and humbly implored a favor from the High Heavens of Olympia to intercede.

The bestial rage of the dark goddess submitted to the divinity of her former self. The light of Artemis emerged from the darkness of Nyghtwolfe’s black soul. She opened her amber eyes and an expression of peacefulness smoothed out the angry lines of her face as she spoke with a deadly calm, "Enjoy your victory while it lasts, you delusional fool. For soon, nothing of it shall remain but my laughter."

With that said, she beseeched the all mighty power of her father Zeus, her brethren Ares and sisterns Nike and Athena to converge within the Pandemonium itself and defend the core in their divine righteousness. With the core of Pandemonium guarded, any additional summoning that Fatye would attempt would result in failure as the summoned demons would be faced first with the wrath of Zeus, kith and kin before having a chance to cause unbridled havoc into the world. A smug sneer of satisfaction narrowed upon the evil version of Fayte, but she would clamp her mouth silent again, letting him have his full say. Indeed she was curious to what his fanatical motivations were. It was becoming quite clear that this alter-ego of Fayte had a major self-esteem issue.

Mouse. He had called her friend Fayte a mouse. Maintaining the deadly calm demeanor, Nyghtwolfe would not reward him with her bestial rage. She exerted great effort for self-control to mock him once more, invoking his anger, “That’s quite the delusion of grandeur you have. Surely you don’t really believe that you can win this foolhardy cause?”

At that very moment, she shifted into the Astral plane and became ethereal in her physiology, a see-through spectral of herself. The runes of holding lost their attachment to her physical form and not even the Atlantean steel of the bars could stop her from passing through. She turned and gave him a contemptuous glare, chin out, “You don’t frighten me, nor do you worry me with your empty threats. I worry only for the Friend I know as Fayte, but I also have great faith in him, and I know in my heart that in the end, he will defeat you.”

Now that Nyghtwolfe knew his master plan and the means to which he would attempt to achieve it, she would call forth all available resources to stop him. Her cackling laughter could be heard antagonistically echoing in the swirling mist that she now transformed herself into before drifting out the window, trailing her wicked laughter behind her. She would reunite with her warrior sister Maia on the battlefield, armed now with enough knowledge to cause him the suffering of a headache.

Ulgar MoQcwu (T+L Senga)

Ulgar MoQcwu of the Nunar Clan was a rebel in his own kingdom of Kazakhstan, but the Kingdom of Kazakhstan was still allied with the Empire of Atlantis through the marriage of his brother to the sister of the Atlantean Empress. It was this alliance that Ulgar would honor by gathering up all the berserker males of Cuman and Kipchaks descendents. 100,000 strong, they gathered behind Ulgar’s military leadership.

The Cumans were fierce and formidable nomadic warriors of the Eurasian steppe who exerted an enduring impact on the medieval Balkans. They were numerous, culturally sophisticated and militarily powerful. Originating in the Kimek Khanate, the Kipchaks had conquered large parts of the Eurasian steppe during the Turkic expansion of the 11th and 12th centuries together with the Cumans. These two combative rivals would settle into Kazakhstan and interbreed with each other for many generations to father the native population of Kazakhs.

The Intelligence information that he had received from the reports of the battle in Atlantis suggested that dimensional rifts were being used inappropriately by the mastermind of the demon invasion. Ulgar set his crafty mind to closing these rifts. Southeast of the Russian city of Omsk, along the Irtysh River, the Semipalatinsk Test Site, the USSR's main nuclear weapon test site was constructed in the mid 1950’s. It would be this nuclear resource that Ulgar MoQcwu of the Nunar Clan would procure for his own campaign to aid Atlantis. Together with his amassed army, the Kazakhs stormed the Semipalatinsk facility to strong-arm its operatives and illegally commandeer a large nuclear warhead missile. They operated a crane to carefully hoist the missile to a flatbed truck capable of carrying such a weighty load.

The Kazakh army traveled to the remote forsaken area of the Asian steppes known as Astana. During the World Wars, this region would become home to Gulag, the largest of the Soviet labor camps. This enormous concentration camp was designed to house a wide range of convicts, from petty criminals to political prisoners, and during the last big war, for German POW’s. In the latter half of the century, a towering pyramid was built over a rift that was discovered by an architectural genius who had surveyed the area. Ulgar and his 100,000 berserkers broke into the site area of the pyramid and entered the triangular building, killing anyone who tried to stop them. After they had descended to the bottommost floor where the rift was located, they blasted open the wall of the pyramid with dynamite wide enough to drive the flatbed truck and the nuclear missile inside. They were ready to do this.

Ulgar’s army entered the rift first, followed by the truck and missile. Once inside, they were swallowed up and spat back out from the Atlantean rift. His army of 100,000 strong surged upon the demons that were terrorizing the Atlantean people. The berserker Kazakhs shredded the flying demons to pieces with a range of semiautomatic assault rifles. After everyone was cleared from the rift, the nuclear warhead was detonated deep within the rift itself, thus causing a terrific blast of nucleic fission that would seal shut all other wormhole rifts connecting to it by the extreme energy emulsion. No more demons would be able to come through, and Fayte would be required to find an alternative method of transporting himself around.

The assault upon Atlantis was proceeding as he had predicted standing on the peak of the tower he survayed the scene with an icy gaze as he watched watched impassively as the first wave began their assault. Even among the horde of demons screeching through the air he spotted the bronze dragon and it's rider reaching out telepathically to the Fellbeast in charge of one of the divisions he spoke calmly his voice etched with malice,

"Strike her down, overwhelm her and drive her to the ground and do not stop till you have her." Twelve of the beasts tore off from the one wing as Nyla became the centre of her attentions. The timing of this assault was critical with the forces of Atlantis divided and dealing with other forces he found them to be at their weakest the resistance was far weaker than he had expected. Reaching out to the spirits that possessed the ancient Treemen he spoke his will as the ancient trees drove their roots under the walls of the city itself as nature was twisted to break stone as the city would crumble.

To the North the wytches he had summoned from Pandemonium worked their bloody ritual using the blood of the fallen Atlantean defenders as they invoked the primal forces far older than anything invoked in this world. Summoning a vast surge of wind a tornado of the sheer magnitude that had not been seen in this world in eternity. The High Priestess lifted the still living body of one of the Atlantean Nephaelem as another cut into her chest her screams filling the air as they tore her immortal body apart ripping her beating heart free the Priestess dropped it into teh sacred black fire that flashed and turned purple. As it did so the tornado that began to descend towards the city ignited flame and wind woven in perfect discord they began to scorch through the realm. The darkening clouds in it's wake flared with unnatural red lightning streaks as they tore through buildings. ground and warriors with impunity.

Fayte could sense his former mentor as she began her approach to the battlefield he smiled faintly as precitable as he believed. He sensed a strike being aimed at him he had expected Misos the God of War always seemed so eager to throw himself into the fray yet he could not sense him. Sensing Nyghtwolfe his lips twisted as he knew of all people the crushing weight of Atlantis crumbling hung most around the Empress' neck. He sensed the Leviathans and beasts of the sea surge to the defence of the island as he struck his staff on the ground a vast rift opened in the sea behind the waters as a vast shadow extended the Beast of Pandemonium had been released its tendrils tore through the waves as it's ancient cry made the Leviathan's pause as it's vast tendrils wrapped around them. Fayte's laughter filled the air as those ships that had been sunk were nothing as the deathless warriors continued their march underwater. He would have met the Empress head on but he had other more pressing matters. Sending a telepathic message to Arabella he gain touched her mind with darkness as he called to her pleading with her to come to him to bring that which he sought as he opened a rift in her rooms. Turning to the horned brute of a knight in black armor he leaned on the warrior's shield with a bright smile,

"It seems are going to plan we have a guest I want her caught.. you understand me tin man..I mean alive and yes in one piece I shall return to attend to her soon. Laughing he summoned another rift as he stepped through it he found himself standing outside the vast gates of the druid sanctuary of Dinas Afaron. He had expected his mentor's reaction as predicted she had sent the students and mentors to hide within their strongly warded walls. His dark cloak moved despite the lack of breeze as he uttered under his breath a chill winter breeze stirred around him,

"She betrayed us to death so why should they be any different..." Moving closer he recognised the stalwart tall figure of the leader of the Nephaelem Knights. As Khrysaor raised his blade and leapt towards the fallen druid reached out, "No.." His word was soft but cut like a blade as the warrior froze in midswing as Fayte touched his chest with his bare finger ice spread over the warrior sealing him in living ice trapping him for all eternity. "Back to sleep for you...Sentinal." The last word was filled with malice as he contemplated shattering the male into fragments but this way amused him. Turning back to the fortress he raised his hands as icy winds swept around him and shards of ice slammed into the ancient stone. Of course the magics of the fortress resisted his assault yet slowly the ice took hold as it froze the exterior coating it in Pandimoniums eternal frost sealing those within as they were sealed off as rifts would begin to form he laughed as he stepped back falling to the ground as he summoned a rift falling into the darkness he returned to his new home.

Seeing his twisted and demented followers he gave a faint yawn as he was barely caressing a fraction of his new found power having tapped the very heart of the realms of madness it had become part of him,

"My lord the one you spoke of has been taken as you ordered she is in the lower cells." Fayte smiled as he strolled through the chamber,

"Ah good good finally mother is here so now I have a reunion to attend to prepare chambers for the arrival of my beloved and lets get some musig going shall we we cannot have things so drab. " Snickering to himself he made his way towards the cells passing the torches they ignited in different colors. Making his way to the cell that was devised to hold one of their unique strength the bars made of ancient Atlantean steel and engraved with runes of holding.

"Ah Empress how nice of you to drop by I do hope you are enjoying the fireworks.. I know I know..A little melodramatic a homecoming but then you never call you never write..." Summoning a comfortable chair he sat down as he raised his legs a servant dived to act as his footstool pulling back his hood Fayte's features were distorted and pale twisted into a dark smile his eyes glistening like rubies in the dark.

"So tell me what have you been up to since leaving me to die hmm.." His eyes turned for a moment turning emerald green the other Fayte surged forward.."I..I am sorry.." His eyes snapped back to red as he gripped the chair appearing to tense in extreme agony.

"Now now mouse you will have your turn to talk it is rude to interrupt your betters.."Turning to the Empress he drummed his fingers along his chin,

"I assume you are wondering why hmm? Why is this happening I suppose I did promise mouse I would tell the reasons. Do you know what it is like to die hmm? Not some pansy half death to be blasted into a stone wall your arms torn from you your body unable to move as you lay there unable to move as vermin devour you still alive as they nibble and chew and burrow inside. Inside you are screaming for help only to hear silence...To be abandonded by those who promised we would never be alone again.." Reaching into his robe he took out the twisted and corrupted Worldstone,

"You know what this is I presume...This ancient relic once was in the care of my people...Yet you...All of you with your muderous intent on war and bloodshed your seacesless need for war and conquest ground them into the ash nothing remains, not their language, not their creeds or beliefs even the ruins have crumbled to near nothing..Our kind ar not like you we are two in one..Two souls born in unity one of light and one of dark in perfect harmony. Yet in you and your husbands ceasless conquest for blood you have tainted that which created all. The seed of life screams and now it falls to me to set it right.." Sighing he sat back as he waved his hand a special rift formed behind allowing her to see the ongoing battle without being able to use it. To see the flames and ruin that tore over Atlantis,

"Atlantis will fall and when it does...When the veil weakens on All hallows eve this torn realm fractured will burst like an over ripe melon and then everything will collapse everything will be devoured to be reborn." Toching the symbols on the cage that held the worldstone it spun and pulsed responding to his will. The magic of the ancient device resonating with the ancient magics of Atlantis at first nothing happened but then the ground began to crack as the island began it's collapse into the sea.

Nyla's 2 posts - Reposted

Nyla Melia Orcus *TAK* (Taken, loving Kyler)

Nyla was outside, in the back of the family home with Kayelinth, her brass dragon, when, above, the skies suddenly darkened. She turned and looked above, and saw what appeared to her to be some very strange clouds that spread quickly over the skies. Nyla had never seen an amoeba, so she couldn’t compare it to them, whatever it was just looked strange to her young eyes. It congealed above the entire space of Atlantis, or so it appeared.
“Everyone!” Nyla shouted as she ran towards the castle. “Something’s happening! Something very big and very bad!” Before she reached the door, several demon like creatures emerged from the clouds and swooped down towards her. They were everywhere, swarming over the entire continent of Atlantis. The ones that swooped down at her had four arms and large bat like wings. “Grandmother! Grandfather! Father!” Nyla cried out, as she reversed direction and ran back towards Kayelinth. She hopped on the dragon’s back, and issued a command to Kayelinth to fly above the creatures and let loose her flame. Some of the creatures got close enough, and they tore at her clothing. Nyla grabbed the stick that was in a saddlebag near her, and swung at them hopelessly. The creatures grabbed at her hair, her shirt, anything they could, and pulled at her relentlessly. Nyla felt her shirt tear, and her hair pulled painfully. The creatures pulled her off of Kayelinth, and dropped her painfully on the ground, and they continued to pull at her, tearing at her clothes until they were just in shreds. Nyla still swung at the creatures with her stick, all the while shouting for anyone to hear her.

Both Nyla and Kayelinth were fighting a losing battle against the creatures; there were just too many of them, and they continued to pull at her, no matter how many of them she swung at with the stick she wielded. Behind her, Nyla caught glimpses of Kayelinth using her fiery breath on the creatures, which did little good. They had already pulled Nyla off of Kayelinth, now they yanked the girl to the ground, tearing the stick from her hands and tossing it away, and continuing to tear at her clothing. The creatures finally tore off the remaining shreds of Nyla’s clothing, so she shifted quickly to wolf form to hide her nakedness. But the creatures still came at her, and tooth and claw of the wolf did no good against them. They were that powerful. Then the touch of one of the creatures somehow brought her back to human form, and she went under the vast numbers of the creatures. Before she went, though, she could hear the voices of her Grandmother Nyghtwolfe, and the Druid Warrior Maia, somewhere above her. Nyla lost consciousness under the sheer might of the creatures.

Empress Nyghtwolfe Orcus **SOS**ROM**TAK**

Upon receiving the advanced warning, Nyghtwolfe wasted no time donning her battle gear and sword. The leather cuirass creaked as she ran to the window and thrust it wide open to stand upon the sill. Maia’s warning however occurred only a split-second before all hell broke loose upon Atlantean soil. Across the horizon, she could see their cities being bombarded by a torrent of large fallen objects that transformed themselves to gigantic golems who effortlessly reduced the stately buildings to pulverized stone rubble. Her body trembled with intense rage as she watched their cities fall to ruin right before her eyes, the thick dust of its destruction rising up as a tombstone across the Island. The Empress felt her friend Maia coming up close behind her and the touch of her comforting hand upon her shoulder. Nyghtwolfe spoke with decisive energy, “We cannot fight this battle and expect to win. We must find out the source and immediately take it right out of the equation. Only then will we stand a chance at defeating these golems.”

Even as she spoke, the hand tightened upon her shoulder and Maia’s other hand moved in a pointed finger horizontally thrust in front of her face, “Look!”, came the shout loud in her ear. Following her outstretched finger, Nyghtwolfe could see what appeared to be an unnatural tower rising from the ocean depths. From it, the coral reef was quickly becoming polluted by a fleet of multi-tiered sails … no doubt battleships. Nodding, she conceded, “That’s our target. Let’s go!”

From her shoulder blades sprang a pair of grey mottled wings as Nyghtwolfe’s body morphed into a large gryphon; the mutation of a lion’s body and an eagle’s head. Her body armor fitted convoluting around her altered form as foreleg cuirass and a breastplate; the helm molding to the cranium bone of the gryphon. With now the keen eyes of an eagle, Nyghtwolfe could see the darkly robed figure standing at the spire. She blinked amber eyes as his familiar face, hooded as it was, registered in the memory banks of her mind. The Gangrel goddess was startled for a moment of hesitation.

“Maia”, she whispered the druid’s name with disbelief in her tone, “Is that Fayte? Yes, oh my gawd yes, I think it is. What in damnation is he doing?!” The two women locked eyes, the shocked silence blanketing them both as their minds speculated all sorts of possibilities and reasons. The urgent shouting of her granddaughter broke the moment of uncertainty and indecision. They watched horrified as Nyla and her dragon were swarmed by flying demons and attacked, vastly outnumbered. Nyghtwolfe growled low in her throat and clenched her fists with anger.

“Take me down there!” Maia insisted, “I’ll help her. You go stop Fayte from whatever it is he’s doing.”

(Maia will fill in her own details of this encounter and will also participate in the land battle)

Nyghtwolfe launched off the windowsill with Maia clinging to her back. She descended close enough to the ground for her dear friend to jump off, and then she flapped her wings vigorously to regain elevation and reclaim the air current. She glided along with the wind to the mysterious fortress that was sprouting its fearsome renegade navy converging on the Island Paradise of Atlantis. Nyghtwolfe knew they were well protected by monstrous leviathans and the dreaded Kraken of mythical lore. There was no chance in hell that Fayte’s fleet would ever reach the shores alive.

With the powerful strokes of her wings, the gryphon watched below with perverse amusement as the enormous leviathans tossed the fleet like toys, splashing the waves high as they battered the fleet to kindling wood and flotsam. The whale like creatures would always protect the Atlantean coastline from invading hostiles. The entire fleet was destroyed by the turbulence of the leviathans smashing them around like toy boats. Nyghtwolfe muttered with sarcasm, “Fayte, fatye, fayte … whatever are you thinking m’dear friend.”

And now the leviathans were rolling tremendous waves towards the dark fortress. The waves reached a massive height of 30 feet crashing into its foundation. These aquatic creatures were loyal to the Atlanteans and also extremely territorially defense of their own home. The tsunamic waves drenched the lower half of the fortress, flooding its corridors with salty water. The gryphon form of the dark goddess flew to an upper window where she clambered inside.

Highly sensitive to the dark energies of the netherworld, Nyghtwolfe could feel the immense power of the Eye of Anu that had taken possession of Fayte. She remembered vaguely reading about it in the Book of Cain. As she stealthily navigated the interior of the fortress still in the animalistic gryphon form, she quoted from memory, “Before the beginning there was void. Nothing … No flesh, No rock, No air, No beat, No light, No dark. Nothing … save a single, perfect pearl. Within that pearl dreamed a mighty, unfathomable spirtit-the One–Anu. Made of shining diamond, Anu was the sum of all things: good and evil, light and dark, physical and mystical, joy and sadness-all reflected across the crystalline facets of its form. And, within its eternal dream-state, Anu considered itself-all of its myriad facets. Seeking a state of total purity and perfection, Anu cast all evil from itself. All dissonance was gone. In the epicenter of reality lies Pandemonium, the scar of the universe's violent birth. At its chaotic center lay the Heart of Creation, a massive jewel unlike any other: the Eye of Anu - the Worldstone. It is the foundation stone of all places and times, a nexus of realities and vast, untold possibility.”

This revelation confused the dark goddess. Why would this ancient power be felt so strongly here, and in Fayte’s safekeeping? The energy signature that she felt was undoubtedly negative in its polarity. She felt no traces of its opposite spectrum. Her thoughts were consumed with the contemplation of the Eye of Anu, what had happened to make it absorb so much evil and offset its definable balance. Nyghtwolfe turned a corner in the tower stairwell and came face to face with a horde of demonic creatures determined to apprehend her. Her massive animal body thrashed at them with deadly claws and snapping fangs, beheading several of them … but there was far too many and she was forced to retreat quickly back down the stairs. She would find escape impossible as a second horde of demons came storming up behind her, blocking her. She ducked into the first room, already flooded with water. Nyghtwolfe was trapped!

After a fierce battle ensued in the flooded room, the gangrel goddess fought courageously but she would not succeed in putting enough of a dent in their vast numbers. For every one she slain, it seemed that many more appeared of all sizes and shapes. With a stark realization, she understood too late that the fortress was mass producing the demons, not merely housing them. She screamed out in fury as they finally overcame her stubborn will to survive, and unceremoniously dragged her exhausted body along with them to the upper chambering rooms.

Nyghtwolfe found herself cruelly deposited in an empty room and the heavy door bolted upon the demon horde exiting. She was badly bruised; her fur was torn out in bloody clumps, her pride was hurt and dignity offended. There was obviously a reason they kept her alive, if only to taunt or torture her. She would transform herself back to human form and patiently wait for Fayte to come visit her personally. She had a million questions to ask of him and would demand answers. Outwardly, she exerted great self control to not allow her emotions to betray rationality, but inwardly, she fumed with the adrenaline of bestial rage.
