There was no hesitation in falling against Jor when he leaned down to kiss her. Her lips were soft and pliant against his and when he pulled back to whisper to her she rubbed her thumb under his lip cleaning the marks of red her lip stick left there. "My husband," she murmured to him with a grin before her arms wound around his neck melting into his kiss again.
Jor grinned looking down at Bryn slipping the band onto his finger and he felt like he had to unscrew his grin from his face later but for now it just seemed to be fitting. When his sister spoke again he chuckled and his hands moved up to cup Bryn's cheeks and he leaned down as he tilted her head up and pressed his lips against hers kissing her gently slipping his tongue against hers before pulling back letting his teeth tug on her lower lip gently. "Where married." he whispered against her lips and his lips met hers once more.
Viola spoke firmly, and with no preamble because she had little doubt her brother was looking forward to the last bit of instruction she had as their officiant. Bryn took the ring offered to her and placed it at the tip of Jors finger. She started to push the ring back only after she spoke, "With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow." When her fingertips brushed his knuckles she smiled again, holding tightly to his hand.
Viola held the larger ring up and when Brynhildr held her hand out for it she told her, ""Please repeat after, then place the ring on his finger. With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow."
Jor took the smaller ring back from his sister and he turned to look at Bryn and he moved to take her small hand in his large one and he slipped the band on her finger as he spoke. "With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow." he brought up her small hand and he pressed a kiss to the band and he winked at her.
Vila accepted the rings her brother passed her and separated the two in hand. She offered him the smaller band as she told him, ""Please repeat after, then place the ring on her finger. With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow."
As Jor pulled out the rings from his pocket he moved his free hand up to wipe at Bryn's cheeks and he mouthed the words. "I love you." to her. his gaze turned to his sister and he handed her the rings and his gaze fell upon Bryn's once more.
Bryn didn't hesitate in her repetition, and her voice was strong though it wavered at the end when a stray tear could no longer be held back. "I Brynhildr take thee Jormungand as my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer or poorer, to be bonny and buxom at bed and at board, to love and to cherish for all of eternity." And though her cheek was now damp still she smiled over at him.
Viola turned once again to face the bride, and in the same soft tone asked her, "Please repeat after me I Brynhildr take thee Jormungand as my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer or poorer, to be bonny and buxom at bed and at board, to love and to cherish for all of eternity."
Bryn didn't process the meaning of the words at first, not till Jor repeated them and they rang with a stark clarity for her. Her smile never wavered though her eyes were a little brighter because now they held a sheen of unshed tears.
Jor chuckled at his bride to be and he nodded his head once more over joyed so when his sister started to talk he didn't hear the first part but remembered the lines when he went over them with Odin last night. "I, Jormungand , take thee Brynhildr as my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, for fairer or fouler, to love and to cherish for all of eternity." he spoke all in one large breath and he smiled proudly towards her.
Beaming Viola nodded, watching the way the couple looked at one another before she looked to her brother again. She began still smiling, "Please repeat after me I, Jormungand , take thee Brynhildr as my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, for fairer or fouler, to love and to cherish for all of eternity."
