Full name: Elpis (Hope) Lust

type: child of fire and water, Angel/Demon/demi Goddess

Description:

Elpis (Greek for Hope) was born to Michael Spirit of Vengeance and Galatea Goddess of the Calm Waters. Her appearance as a child is changeable, and likely will be in later years as well.

It will reflect the opposites she unites in herself. Maybe that is why she loves the calm silence of libraries and books. She gets lost in them and her curiosity is one thing most people notice about her first. Some even consider her the nerdiest of the Lust family.

At first sight her adopted brother, Frank Lust, imprinted on her. She has given in to the bond that connects them and he is her first and only love.

Her hair colour usually is a firy red, but can change to a more golden tone like her mother's or a darker shade like her father's. Her eyes usually are blue, but they turn red in times of turmoil.

She is fair to look at, having an almost angelic aura about herself. Her innocent look can deceive for she unites heaven and hell.

Elpis aged extremely slowly due to a spell she wove, but has reached adulthood within hours. Her appearance will stay similar for she knows how to control time.

She is a contradiction in herself, yet unites them too. You could say she is a willful little spirit that has a temper. She has a stubborn streak at times, but can also appear an innocent, sweet angel.

She is a surprise.


Qualities:

Skill sets and powers:

*can breathe under water, if she can transfer the ability to others like her mother remains to be seen

*Summon: she can summon sea creatures of good and evil spirit

*resistance to fire: Fire leaves Elpis untouched, she can even draw power from it and transform it. She inherited that from her father

* Regeneration: The ability to quickly regenerate from physical injuries 

* Control over water: controls water, because she inherits the blood of several water deities like her mother. She can summon bolts of water, fountains and can change the shape of water.

* Magic: Elpis can use elemental magic that involves any type of water or fire. She can transform both elements and unite them into one. She is a gifted spellcaster and has proved to be able to even control time and aging even in childhood

*some of her powers are not yet developed and will reveal over time

Drawbacks and weaknesses: 

* Contradiction: as long as she has not learned to control emotions as well as her power she will find her powers contradicting. Sometimes that will cause her to tap into her power at the wrong moment and undo what good she has done.

*temper: the heart of a demon and the spirit of an angel battle in her

* tides: depending on the tides and therefore the moonphase her power over water will be strong or week (even gone)

* cold: Elpis usually will supply herself with enough warmth, but if a surrounding gets too cold then she will lose her power over the element fire, while her water side will slow her down.

Combat: (many years of AD&D dice playing roleplay, writing fights in fiction and relatively new to roleplay fighting online)

Elpis has yet to be trained in the use of weapons, her most dangerous weapon are wit and magic
