A father his own son (sl between Michael/Conan and Galatea)
Category: Uncategorized

Galatea and Michael had just received the news recently that their youngest daughter Harmony was lost in battle and died. Sadness and pain hung over the castle like a black cloud and word had reached the Lust family, which meant all but Elpis and Frank began arriving in Hy-Brasil. The veil that usually concealed the island wavered with the disruption of balance.

Galatea went to the kitchen and told the cook to prepare snacks and bloodwine. Afterwards she told the servants to prepare rooms for the guests, making sure each of them would find something to their liking. Finally she went to her special chambers and waited. Soon she saw the sails on the horizon and felt how the veil was passed.

Michael walks to the harbor awaiting his mother and sisters having not seen them for so long. Galatea on the other hand went down a winding path to the harbor where she would greet Desdemona. Her mother in law met her on the way and the two talked about the loss of a child. Desdemona advised Galatea to be strong and remember the good times, especially for the sake of the child she was carrying.

Michael smiles seeing his wife and his mother coming up to him from the habor. Galatea spotted him up the way that lead to the castle. She gave him a smile and turned to Desdemona. "Looks like I don't need to search for Michael, he already found you." She walked the queen up to greet her son. Michael walks up to them hugging his mother and kisses her cheek slowly leading her up to the hall. Galatea closed her eyes, taking in the salty air coming from the sea. "Another ship is coming. I think it is your sisters." She looked at Michael and then at Desdemona. "Would you like me to welcome them and leave you to catch up together?"

"No, take my mother to her chambers and Ill take my sisters to theirs." He kisses his wifes cheek and walks back to meet his sisters. Galatea nodded and leaned over to gently return the kiss.

"I will do that, my love." She watched him head down to the harbor and turned to Desdemona again. A concern that was beyond the mourning was in her voice. "Mother, I'm worried about him. Have you sensed anything about him? Grief about this loss has changed him. I fear for him."

Michael stood waiting for his sisters while a voice called to him. "Michael you cant hold this rage in forever, if you do all hell will break loose and you dont want that." Michael sighs. "Shut it Conan, I do not care." The man laughed, "come on, you do or you wouldnt be fighting to hold me back."

Galatea cast her eyes down. "When I met my husband he was Conan, I married him as Michael. Now it seems that both sides inside of Michael seem to battle each other. A demonic side breaks through, but Michael tries to control it. It is not the demonic side he holds anyway, but something different. He is afraid to hurt me or the family. I know the power his demon has." She sighed and looked up at Desdemona with a pale face. "The child I bear... it was made in a night when the demon broke free."

"Come on let me out, you will still have your powers and your demon side, but it would be all yours and I would be free and Ill have my own powers." Michael shook his head. "No!"

Galatea lead Desdemona to her rooms and then went to search for Michael. Her conversation with Desdemona had stirred her worries even more. So she absentmindedly walked through the hall, looking at the floor. She barely noticed the servants hurrying by or anyone else passing her by. Suddenly she reminded herself that they had guests. Her heart also yearned for her husband's presence. While she looked at her swelling belly and smiled, whispering to her child. "You know, I love your father."

Michael was walking back to the main hall looking around for Galatea. Galatea had stopped in her steps while walking through the halls, still looking at the small round curve that she knew hid and sheltered the child inside. She smiled and for the short moment that the love for the unborn child and her husband filled her the pain was gone. Then it filled her again and she sighed. Michael sighs looking at her and walks over to her. "Is everything ok my love?"

She looked at him and smiled softly. "I just told our child that I love it and its father." She took his hand and wrapped herself into his embrace with a twirl into his arm. Her back leaning against him and long blond tressed spilled down over her shoulders. "How are you, my love? How are your sisters?"

"Im fine my love... They on the other hand dont know how to feel. They are sad because they lost a member but they never met her, so they dont know what reaction to have."

She sighed and rested her head back against him. The warmth of his body felt good against her back. "It's sad that it takes such an event to bring together the family." He hugs her and nods. "But you need to understand that they have things to run and things to do they cant always be around" She smiled. "Don't be silly, my love - I know they have things to do and can't be around all the time. It is just sad that we don't meet for a happier occassion instead." She turned her head to kiss him softly. "We all govern our realms and need to take care of our personal relationships aside the family. I hope Morgana will be coming too. Of your sisters she feels most like a sister to me." He smiles looking at her. "Is that so?" She nodded and took in his warmth a moment longer, feeling her body relax. It made her aware how tense she was and how the emotional pain made even her body ache. "Oh what would I do without you?" She turned in his arms and looked up at him, gently touching his cheek. "Maybe be insane?" He smiles down at her. Something she didn't think she was able to at the moment happened, she laughed. "Maybe I am insane already." She smiled and kissed him. "There is a slight chance of that." He said. She heard familiar sounds down the hall. "I think we have to attend to our duties some more, my love." She cupped his face and kissed him deeply. "But thank you for making me laugh." "You should rest my love - for me. Ill take care of everything."

She leaned her head against his shoulder for a brief moment and took in his scent. Worry stirred in her again. "Are you sure you are alright?" He was so strong and yet she felt that something in him struggled. It might just be a forboding, a shadow of worry, but still it stirred in her. She looked up and sighed. "I will go to the Lady's Hall and recharge my energies." "Yes m..." He paused for a moment and nods Conans voice was able to be heard within Michaels voice. "Yes my love Im fine.... Go ahead and go to the chambers. You will need it." He kisses her lips then her neck. "Yes you will need it."

An echo of the past haunted her she thought when Michael spoke. She knew the sound like the very voice of him that he spoke with every day, but it also reminded her of the day they had first met -when he had another name, when he wasn't Michael yet. It was as if two voices spoke with one. A shiver went down her body the moment his lips touched her neck. Galatea's mind raced torn with questions. "Then I will do it, my love." She just said, trying to calm her own mind. He smiles looking at her as she goes off. "Stay out of this Conan." The voice in him started to laugh. "Sorry Michael, but you have lost." Michael felt a sharp pain in his head and blacks out standing. "Ah! It feels good to be back in my body!" An evil grin came to his lips.

Galatea went to her special halls filled for the most part with a pool instead of a regular floor. She made a step upon the perfectly smooth surface of the water, which reflected the images of nymphs and sea creatures on the walls as well as the flickering light of chandelliers. On the far side she made a step and stood at the large scenic window that looked out over their land and the ocean. She sighed and her mind raced with the question if she was now imagining things. There was only little time to ponder when Hunter came to interupt her thoughts. She walked with him and he asked her to keep his presence hidden for now. He wanted to bid his farewell to Harmony, but as usual was a young man driven by his search and anger.
All the while she kept her worries hidden from him. She had mentioned her worries about Michael's demon and now it stirred even more. For a long time now she had made up her mind that if the day should ever come then she would fight for her family, her love at whatever cost.
It was time to greet Pandora and Dementia though even if Michael had done so already she guessed. Galatea headed to the rooms that had been prepared for them.

He looks out to the world seeing the people running and working did everyone really care for this girl who had died? Conan grins and walks on with a grin. "She was your daughter too, Conan." Michael said from inside. "Yea well, last I remember my own kids tried to kill me."

Galatea was on her way to find her sister-in-law and happened to see Michael looking out of a window onto the courtyard where people were busy with their usual business or the tasks they were set to do. She gasped and again a shudder went down her body. Michael had a certain way to hold himself and especially watching over their people ever since he wasn't Conan. Now she saw another man standing there it seemed. The way he held himself was completely different and reminded her of Conan and how he had stood. She wondered if she was seeing echoes of the past and if her mind really played tricks on her.
Her husband turned and from the distance she saw the evil grin that didn't suit the man who had just been torn apart by grief over the loss of his daughter in her arms just hours ago. He seemed to speak, moving his lips, but she couldn't hear him from the distance. She wanted to turn and go, but her knees seemed too weak.

Conan had turned seeing Galatea and like the first night, he took a daughter of the sea, his eyes of want and play. He looks at her knees barely holding her up "You ok my love?" The voice made her tremble, but it were the eyes that truly forced her to steady herself with a hand on the wall for a moment. She forced herself to hold herself upright again, unable to speak for a moment. A sharp pain seemed to go through her body and she moved her hand over her belly. "My love are you ok is it the child?" He asked. She took in a deep breath and looked up at him - staring would have described it better. "It felt like being clawed from inside, but it should still be too small." She tried to understand what was happening. "Did you rest as I told you to do?" He asked looking around. Wait, why was he looking? He owned this place!

She nodded and still looked at him puzzled. "I rested as best as I could. Morgana is coming - I felt her." She still wondered how well she knew her husband at the moment, as well as why she had felt the pain running through her body. "What is happening?" She straightened and still held her hand soothingly over her belly. "You tell me whats happening?" The man who she knew as her husband asked. She looked deep into his eyes. "I wish I knew and understood what is happening... Michael?" A hint of a question swung in her voice which she had tried to hide. Conan played it off. "Maybe you need more sleep come on lets get you to bed. My sisters could wait, youre not doing well."

"Are you doing well? Will you accompany me, my love?" Galatea began to question her own mind. "Yes my love I will be with you. Ill have the servants help my sisters and tell them that you are not well," he kisses her head and walks her to the room. His lips felt the same but his voice still seemed to bring back memories of old. "My love? Would you call for your mother later? I think I need her advice - she said this child is more demonic and maybe that explains the pain." She tried to calm herself, but also wondered if Desdemona could help her solve the riddle she was faced with. She could swear her husband had changed - the way he moved, the way he spoke, even the way he looked at her with eyes bearing a hint of green. "Ill call her for you now hush and lets get you to bed." She cast her eyes down, falling silent and followed him to the room. When they arrived she looked up at him. "Please stay a while with me." "Yes my love Ill stay with you." He smiles kissing her head. "Sleep now." She laid down on the bed and held her hand out to him. "Tell me stories of our children. Good memories to help me sleep."

He takes her hand and kisses it gently while laying with her. "Well, our children are so different in many ways but yet have the same heart and do what needs to be done for themselfs and others around them. Remember the day Elpis burned Franks stuffed animal trying to wash it?" She smiled while she closed her eyes and remembered how upset Frank had been while Elpis tried to explain. "I remember it as if it was yesterday. We have been lucky with our children and I never regretted marrying you." She opened her eyes again, searching his face and eyes. "Have you?" "I never regret anything I do in life and marrying you was one of the biggest moves I will never take back." She smiled again and closed her eyes, listening closely to his voice trying to find out if she had heard echoes from the past or if she had reason to worry. She had seen Michael regretting things and this sounded so little like him. He smiles looking down at her. "Is everything fine?"

She dared to speak her mind. "You sound different."

"Your hearing things Galatea."

"Michael, what is going on?"

"What do you mean? Our daughter just died thats what happened." She sighed and nodded, tears welled up in her eyes again. "I might just well hear things and the sadness about it is playing tricks on me. It just..." She broke off and turned away from him. In a quiet whisper she added. "It just seems the circumstance that she died has brought something out. Or maybe it killed something else too." He smiles looking down at her rubbing her arms. "Im sorry."

"What are you sorry about, my love?" She asked, still trying to understand if she was hearing things or if there truly had been a change in him. "For snapping like that" he kisses her neck. "Let your husband Co....Michael take care of you."

She noticed the pause and turned around to face him abruptly. She simply looked into his eyes and ran her hand over his cheek. He leans down and kisses her lips. "Its like you seen a ghost." She knew the kiss, the way his lips felt, still something lingered in there. "Something I thought had changed rather. An echo of the past. I thought after all those years I knew my husband inside out." His lips are inches from hers as he whisper. "I never left... Michael cant hold me back." His lips invited her - lips that she had kissed a thousand times in love, passion, happiness, sadness and even anger. It was the voice and tone that made her head spin. "Conan?" She looked deep into his eyes. "Conan was reborn as Michael." She whispered with a shaking voice full of questions.

"I wasnt reborn I was held back from becoming stronger..." He holds her by her neck. "Besides you had my first child not Michaels."

"You were you are one with him." She trembled, remembering their first times. "Elpis - she has your heart beating as hers.  But other than with her or Harmony - I don't know the gender of this child." She kept staring into his eyes.

"Harmony was Michaels, Elpis is mine." He looks at her rising his brow.

"I don't..." She stammered as her head spun from what happened and his lips being so close. "understand. Conan and Michael... My husband... you are one." She couldn't breathe it seemed. "Conan and Michael were always one since you changed - one in body and never have you claimed one child to be of one or the other. Never seperated our memories to be either these or those."

"We are not the same, Michael is an angel, Im a demon. Ive been asleep for so long that I finally woke up and want to take back whats mine. Same body but different DNA why do you think Elpis and Harmony are so different?"

"Because all children are different. They shared that they united fire and water." She trembled. "All these years you have been angel and demon, don't tell me you haven't been." There was the rebellious spark in her again that woke more and more often with the caged anger rattling free from thousands of years of being chained as a tribute to the Olympians. "Michael? Conan? Who have I married? I married a man who united angel and demon."

"Michael has my memory.... Lets see theres two men in one body." He looks at her hearing a knock at the door. "Leave us!" He smiles again when the knocking stops and looks down at her. "Calm that rage Galatea, its bad enough Im sharing my woman with the angel."

Her head was spinning and it seemed his voice and her anger triggered something again. She flinched and felt the sharp ripping pain in her belly again. "I don't know what to think anymore." She winced and gripped his shirt, ripping it when another sharp pain went through her body. "The child feels its father." He lays his hand on her stomach.

"Then tell it to stop ripping me apart from inside out." She growled at him.

"Its not, Its you." He looks at her. "Youre scared that Im back. Youre lost."

She gasped and stared at him. "I'm confused. What was I having all these years? A marriage with whom? What do you feel for me?" He smiles looking at her. "Well, we both feel the same for you," he licks her neck.  She trembled and took in a deep breath when he licked her neck. "I just lost a child, I don't want to lose my husband or worse - my family." As if in reflex to all the times his body had touched her she touched his bare chest, where she just had torn the shirt off from. She felt the scar over his left side, slowly tracing it. "The only reason Im still able to live is because of Elpis, who has my heart. While she lives so do I," he growls down at her and roughly kisses her. "And Im not sharing my women with any man. Ill kill Michael if I need too."

She felt the force of his kiss, it was more a possesive kiss than a loving one. She felt how her body was pulled to him, pressing her hand firmer onto the scar. She knew he was right - Elpis was safe- for now. In a moment when she breathlessly came clear of his lips she whispered. "From what you said you have both shared me all these years." She didn't know why she said it or even what it would trigger, but it felt like she was losing the life and the husband she had for all these years, who she had raised a family with. "You had no clue how many times I tried to stop him. How many times I wanted to end him -  but the more you worshiped him the stronger he got... Only one will have you its either your husband or me because you married Michael after the trails."

She felt like she herself was about to be torn in two. She leaned her head against his forehead and breathed heavy. "Loved... loved you both like one because you were one, Conan. Love not worship." She was torn and memories twirled through her mind, her whole life seemed to fall apart. Loss after loss seemed to end and everything she had believed to be true fell apart.

"Where is Michael now?"

"Trying to fight his way out to save his wife from me." He looks down at her ripping up her dress from her breast and bites down on her neck not cutting her just enough to mark her.

"If you feel the same for me, then does he have to save me?" She felt weak, in pain and more vulnerable than ever. Her head was spinning and it seemed sadness, confussion and emotional turmoil sapped her strength completely.

"Im a barbarian you think I care? Michael cares more for you than I do... We arent the same I almost killed you when I I! Made this child growing in you! I was so close in killing you but Michael held me back." He growls, ripping the rest of her dress, leaving her naked. "Dont you get it? Michael came into my body, he took over what was mine...."

"Then you don't feel the same for me. You lied when we first met. Or you are not who you claim to be." Her voice was flat and weak. "If you kill me now then you will kill your child. Do you want to add us to your list? Was it Michael saving your own family from you?" She closed her eyes, waiting for the blow she expected.

He growls looking at her. "You have no idea how it was when I ended their lives." He touched her lips with his thumb. "It was fun... Hearing my wife begging me to stop when she watched me kill both my sons... When I had her tied up forcing her to watch when I ravaged my daughter over and over, then snapping her neck..." He leans down to her ear. "Then when I took my wife slowly over and over till she finally bleed out."

"Then you aren't the man haunted by the memory of just that, whose daughter was able to hurt him so deeply just by mentioning his past." She was unsure what he would do now, if she would find herself where Harmony was at soon. "At least I will see my daughter again if you care so little for what you had all these years."

"Hahaha I only had you for a few nights and made a daughter...." He stops feeling pain in his head. "Shut up Michael!"

She opened her eyes, looking at him. The deep blue trying to penetrate through his very eyes. "I know now why I don't know what the child in me is..." Her hands reached up, cupping his face, pulling him close, her lips close to his. She knew she would be making a sacrifice now, but she had no other choice. "Michael, I know now." One eye turned blue the other eye was green as they look at her. "No Michael you wont win this one." He growls now both eyes back to green and Conan smiles. "Now what is my child?" He licks her lips.

For a moment it seemed she was getting somewhere, but she had found a way to get through - to them both. "Yes, your child - Elpis carries your heart. Without it she wouldn't have one and she wouldn't be the loving woman she is. This one..." she kissed him and ran her fingers over his face. Her mind was made up. "What would you give this child to make it complete? Because it is missing something yet."

"I gave it something, giving it life. What else does it want?" Conan had anger in his voice now.

"I would give it my love." Another voice broke through Michaels voice came through.

"No it gets nothing!" Conans neck snaps to the side then to the other when his eyes are dark green, he grins kissing Galatea once more.

She ran her hands through his hair. "Conan, I loved you the moment we met on the beach, the night we made Elpis. You promised me she would love me with your heart. You promised to make me your wife and respect me. And I love you still." She kissed him softly, her voice a soothing whisper. She wove her magic best she could in her weak state, ready to make her sacrifice. "Your child has no soul yet. You know I will always love you, even if you are not my husband. Michael is my husband. Would you really be happy to make me your wife?"

"I dont worry women that are married" He growls. "Ive been out of the game and came back, just to make this child, but as I think of it now Ill take over the child and send myself in there." He grins. "Oh the fun it will be to grow up again."

"You will be free and I will always be a part of you, like you are a part of me. I said I will always love you and that I will do - but not as your wife, Conan." She kissed his lips and almost smiled.

He growls down at her kissing her deeply moving down to her neck opening her legs. She answered his kiss deeply too, giving in to him. Her legs parted on the silken sheets, strewn with their torn clothes. Galatea moaned when she felt his lips on her neck and arched up against him, grabbing the sheets with one hand, grabbing him by the back of his neck with the other.

He pulls away gently looking down at her his eyes blue like the ocean. "My love are you ok?" She nodded and smiled at him. "Yes, my love. I am ok." She pulled him closer and kissed his lips. "Michael, I love you." "And I love you my love." He smiles kissing her deeply holding her close. "I couldnt beat him without you."

"He has entered the child now. Do you think he is in there?" She trembled in his arms, wrapping her arms around him. She was still turmoiled and shaken. She looked into her husband's eyes, looked deep into them to search for who she lay with now. "Hes gone I dont feel him here." She placed her hand over her stomach. "Then I guess he found his way in." Galatea lost herself in Michael's arms and a tear came to her eyes. Her body felt cold and shaking, the taste of salt lingered on her lips from the tears that began breaking free. Michael still held her close, lying between her legs.

"Can you love him as your child?" She looked into his eyes and kissed him. He shook his head. But I will treat him no different. Her husband was back and she would need to speak to Desdemona soon. A son was growing inside of her now a son who was his own father, who had two mothers.
