Hy.Brasil Babyshower

Galatea looked at the greenhouse and how everything was in place by now. She smiled and held both hands around her spherecial belly with the twins kicking in there. She rubbed it and looked down at him. She softly whispered soothing words and the twins calmed down.

There once more was a great many babies to arrive in KOED, so she had decided to throw a baby shower for her twins and every upcoming mother of KOED.
Little presents were set on a table for every mommy, decorated with wild animals.

She picked a stuffed lion up and thought about Frank, her eldest had always been extremely fond of his stuffed lion when he was little. She set it back down and went to sit down in one of the many cushioned chairs and sofas.

Tale of Time

The oldest stories ever told are written in the stars. Stories of time before men and gods when titans ruled the earth. The titans were powerful but their reign was ended by their own sons: Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. Zeus became king of the heavens, Poseidon king of the seas, Hades ruled the underworld in darkness and misery.

And where does my tale begin? It began before I was born with Gaia and Uranus - those that fathered the first titans and of whom all other gods came. And of them was born Tethys - the Sea that encircles the world, the water that rains from heavens and nurtures the ground. And of Gaia alone came Pontos, who has no father, but who is the father of the seas and of waters and all things therein. The Sea itself begat Nereus - my father - who tells no lies, eldest of his sons. They call him the Old Gentleman because he is trustworthy, and gentle, and never forgetful of what is right, but the thoughts of his mind are mild and righteous. It was his strength as it was his weakness when the Great War among Titans and Olympians began.

Nereus married Doris, daughter of Tethys and Oceanus. Oceanus ruled the oceans girdeling the world, especially after Poseidon took reign over the mediterainian sea. Of these two many daughters and one son were born. This is where my life began - this is where my story continued. I -  Galatea- daughter of titans and of all that is the sea, one of 50 daughters. I was a young Nereid when the war began and my doom was sealed.

Oceanus, my grandfather, didnt side with the other Titans, just as he had not revolted against Uranus. Maybe it was folly, maybe it was fear, but most of all was it the tenderness of his heart. For Oceanus is he, who listens to the prayers more kindly than Poseidon ever would. Even in the greatest of wars his kind heart moved Zeus. The trees blazed in raging fire - the very hair of suffering Gaia, the Earth herself. Oceanus poured rivers of tears from his watery and mild eye, because he pitied her and wished to wash with water the ashes of ruin and the fiery wound of the land. Zeus wrath was calmed by such pity and he covered the whole sky with clouds and flooded the earth.

My doom was sealed in the War of Titans, the Titanomachy by my father Nereus.

My father inherited that gentle soul - never telling lies and gifted with prophecy he sided with the Olympians in the war against titans, fighting giants. But he also had an iron fist and angry will. He knew the Olympians would rule no matter what he would do, but at least he could keep his daughters and son from being thrown into Tartarus.  The titan gods of the seas and waters were given leave to bow to the new Lord Poseidon or be cast into Tartarus and chained there for eternity. But what became of us daughters by his decision?

My father, who had not sided with the other titans remained unharmed. Or at least I thought so for a very long time. He had found a way to fight against Olympus and Zeus captured my mother and me. He used us to make my father bow and drop his weapon, submitting to Zeus. Zeus, who then betrayed him and locked him and my mother in a stone prison. There they were, seeing and hearing everything, without a chance of acting. Zeus wiped my memory and it took a few thousand years, a war and the death of loved ones until it returned.

Therefore for all other of us titan offspring a more subtle chain and shackle was wrought. We bore no sign of visible chains and imprisonment after war. The Nereids were reduced to nymphs to serve Poseidon. All of us were still young and knew no better, as we knew not what being a titan meant. Some of us resisted from the beginning, those old enough to have tasted their powers. Some were bent to his will. My sister Amphitrite became his wife and yet he chose his consorts and lovers freely among us.

Weakened and bereft of the full power of the titans we still kept one gift. We all had the power to soothe Poseidons wrath and grant mercy on sailors in the storm. Sometimes that mercy was death, sometimes it was the safety of shore; but sailors prayed to us in the storm if they were wise enough. Each of still also kept skill and powers that associated with her name. Therefore I Galatea am the milky white, beautiful like the sparkling dots of white on the calm ocean on a bright summer day.

Now that I look back it seems like this was another life. I was like a child still and longed to please the Lord of the Seas.

Poseidons son, Polyphemus the cyclop, then cast his eye upon mean and I was wed to him. It was one of my duties to guard his herds and he played his flute for me. I was flattered by such attention, even though he was ugly - he was Poseidons son and he tried his best.

Cupid did his best that I would fall for him and we gave life to Celtus, Illyrius and Galas. To this day the people of Celts, Gauls and Illyrians consider me their mother. All my celtic children that came to Hy-Brasil in much later times worship me above Poseidon as their mother and protector.

But beside all of Cupids tricks and Polyphemus sweet tunes, the desire for another stirred. All waters are treacherous and dangerous, the calm waters are my domain. Calm is the pleasant sea on a summer day, but calm is the deadly depth of the ocean as well. Below the pleasant, calm surface stirred a desire for Acis, a mere mortal shepard boy. Oh, he was beautiful! Oh, he was sweet! And I lost my heart to that boy in nights under stars and at days under the sun.

Polyphemus became angry and like his father knew no mercy, if he meant to own something. He slaughtered my poor Acis. Then and there I wept and for the first time I felt the chains unseen, as my powers rattled in the cage that was my body. I wept over the broken body of my lover and his blood turned into water. Ever since a stream runs to the ocean and meets the sea where his blood touched the ground, and ever since I knew that there was more in me than being a nymph. I fled from Polyphemus, breaking the bond of marriage like he had broken my lovers body,  and shed no tear when he lost his eye by the cunning of Odysseus.

I became free and innocent Galatea once more, when my bond to Polyphemus was undone, and once Polyphemus was killed I returned to sing by the river Acis or bathe at the shore. My heart was broken, my body still young and fresh, my mind easily turned to pleasures that were offered to me freely. I played with hearts and I played with men. Poseidons spell was still fully upon me and I willingly worshipped him, unknowing of his jealousy for his own son. For the deadly fury that wouldnt stop at even getting rid of Polyphemus to have me, I only knew I was just one among many. I knew no better than to feel precious when a god turned his attention my way.

And even this seems like another life - Poseidon, Polyphemus, Acis waters have run down that river aplenty and the pebbles on the beach have turned to sand ever since. For a while I thought I was content, but deep inside something was missing.

The chains had become brittle , the spell wore off and another life unfolded on a dark, warm summer night under the stary sky upon the warm sands of a beach.

Another lifetime unfolded in that warm Sicilian night. Against the sky I saw his frame, strong and handsome was he, Michael Lust. He saw me bathing in moonlight and the rivers water. We needed no words during that first encounter, where he took me. We spoke in the most ancient of tongues, that needs no spoken word, until I took him to my underwater cave. There he took me again to change my whole life. Our worlds clashed into each other just as we did. Michael  was the same and yet not the same as the man he is now. Michael, son of Desdemona Lust, prince of the Erotic Kingdom of Desires, who is equally demon and angel, who shared is body unknowingly at that time with his brother Conan. Michael can be fierce and destructive like a blazing firestorm, but warm and gentle like the pleasant warmth of the fireplace that warms you when you feel cold. He was the first who saw more in me than a toy, a pleasant worshipper, a past time and adventure, I wasnt his student nor his teacher, for him I was a woman and more importantly - his woman.

Michael took me away to his mothers kingdom and he gave me the greatest give he could give my life truly began.  He made me his wife, his queen, mother to his children and he became my fire. He brought me home to a home that I didn’t know I had. He brought me to Hy-Brasil, where my children gathered and many followers of his mothers kingdom. In Hy-Brasil our children were born: Elpis, Harmony, Desideria, April, Logan, Phoenix and Atalanta. I even gave life to Conan, Michaels twin brother who had shared his body with Michael and gave the life of my unborn child to save my husband. In Hy-Brasil we also took in our adoptive son: Frank.  Each child was living proof of our love. Here we built a haven for our family and for all those following the old ways, or those who looked for a refuge from the usual strive.

Here I found my strength and discovered that I could fight my way out of the chains to become the goddess that was once locked up in me. Michael and I begat wonderful children, but our love was tested and our strength as well when my past caught up with me. The jealous wrath of Poseidon followed me even to Hy-Brasil. Frank died and Harmony was lost for a long time. The pain was excrutiating and we needed all our strength to see it through. But new lights appeared in the darkness in the form of my grandchildren: Ricard, Mara, Candy, Kira, Benjamin, Fortuna and Serena.  They were followed by our greatgrandchildren: Kimberly and Mathew.

But even a love as strong as ours was tested.

The test came in the beautiful shape of Morgana, who had born a child to Michael. Morgana, who I had always viewed as a sister, had given birth to Nicolaes. When looking back on it I cannot tell if it hurt most because it had been her or that I had been kept from the truth so long. Nicolaes though was always welcome in our home and in my heart. The rift between two sisters runs deep, but blood is thicker than water none the less. And Michael never gave up to fight for my love.

I dont deny that I developed a hatred for Poseidon, that went as far as plotting his capture and even death. But even gods can change. It took a war between gods of the North and Olympus to make me see. Zeus revealed his cowardly face to us, killing a friend and the mate of a loved one. A battle was won, but the war not. Poseidon saved me and even brought my parents and memory back. I realized that it had been Zeus who chained and banned us nereids, so that we would never find our parents. But Zeus failed and fled, while the doom of battle still lingered over all of Hy-Brasil. I knew it was  I who had brought darkness and danger to this save haven this time.

My darkest hours I faced here with only one lighthouse to guide me home - my husband.

Is this where my story ends? No it isnt. Things and tides may change, but I still love my husband and the family he gave me. I still am not done becoming the goddess that I can be. My story is not over and it won’t be for a very long time. The oldest stories are written in the stars. Stories of time of man and gods, when some titans broke their chains.

A father his own son (sl between Michael/Conan and Galatea)

A father his own son (sl between Michael/Conan and Galatea)
Category: Uncategorized

Galatea and Michael had just received the news recently that their youngest daughter Harmony was lost in battle and died. Sadness and pain hung over the castle like a black cloud and word had reached the Lust family, which meant all but Elpis and Frank began arriving in Hy-Brasil. The veil that usually concealed the island wavered with the disruption of balance.

Galatea went to the kitchen and told the cook to prepare snacks and bloodwine. Afterwards she told the servants to prepare rooms for the guests, making sure each of them would find something to their liking. Finally she went to her special chambers and waited. Soon she saw the sails on the horizon and felt how the veil was passed.

Michael walks to the harbor awaiting his mother and sisters having not seen them for so long. Galatea on the other hand went down a winding path to the harbor where she would greet Desdemona. Her mother in law met her on the way and the two talked about the loss of a child. Desdemona advised Galatea to be strong and remember the good times, especially for the sake of the child she was carrying.

Michael smiles seeing his wife and his mother coming up to him from the habor. Galatea spotted him up the way that lead to the castle. She gave him a smile and turned to Desdemona. "Looks like I don't need to search for Michael, he already found you." She walked the queen up to greet her son. Michael walks up to them hugging his mother and kisses her cheek slowly leading her up to the hall. Galatea closed her eyes, taking in the salty air coming from the sea. "Another ship is coming. I think it is your sisters." She looked at Michael and then at Desdemona. "Would you like me to welcome them and leave you to catch up together?"

"No, take my mother to her chambers and Ill take my sisters to theirs." He kisses his wifes cheek and walks back to meet his sisters. Galatea nodded and leaned over to gently return the kiss.

"I will do that, my love." She watched him head down to the harbor and turned to Desdemona again. A concern that was beyond the mourning was in her voice. "Mother, I'm worried about him. Have you sensed anything about him? Grief about this loss has changed him. I fear for him."

Michael stood waiting for his sisters while a voice called to him. "Michael you cant hold this rage in forever, if you do all hell will break loose and you dont want that." Michael sighs. "Shut it Conan, I do not care." The man laughed, "come on, you do or you wouldnt be fighting to hold me back."

Galatea cast her eyes down. "When I met my husband he was Conan, I married him as Michael. Now it seems that both sides inside of Michael seem to battle each other. A demonic side breaks through, but Michael tries to control it. It is not the demonic side he holds anyway, but something different. He is afraid to hurt me or the family. I know the power his demon has." She sighed and looked up at Desdemona with a pale face. "The child I bear... it was made in a night when the demon broke free."

"Come on let me out, you will still have your powers and your demon side, but it would be all yours and I would be free and Ill have my own powers." Michael shook his head. "No!"

Galatea lead Desdemona to her rooms and then went to search for Michael. Her conversation with Desdemona had stirred her worries even more. So she absentmindedly walked through the hall, looking at the floor. She barely noticed the servants hurrying by or anyone else passing her by. Suddenly she reminded herself that they had guests. Her heart also yearned for her husband's presence. While she looked at her swelling belly and smiled, whispering to her child. "You know, I love your father."

Michael was walking back to the main hall looking around for Galatea. Galatea had stopped in her steps while walking through the halls, still looking at the small round curve that she knew hid and sheltered the child inside. She smiled and for the short moment that the love for the unborn child and her husband filled her the pain was gone. Then it filled her again and she sighed. Michael sighs looking at her and walks over to her. "Is everything ok my love?"

She looked at him and smiled softly. "I just told our child that I love it and its father." She took his hand and wrapped herself into his embrace with a twirl into his arm. Her back leaning against him and long blond tressed spilled down over her shoulders. "How are you, my love? How are your sisters?"

"Im fine my love... They on the other hand dont know how to feel. They are sad because they lost a member but they never met her, so they dont know what reaction to have."

She sighed and rested her head back against him. The warmth of his body felt good against her back. "It's sad that it takes such an event to bring together the family." He hugs her and nods. "But you need to understand that they have things to run and things to do they cant always be around" She smiled. "Don't be silly, my love - I know they have things to do and can't be around all the time. It is just sad that we don't meet for a happier occassion instead." She turned her head to kiss him softly. "We all govern our realms and need to take care of our personal relationships aside the family. I hope Morgana will be coming too. Of your sisters she feels most like a sister to me." He smiles looking at her. "Is that so?" She nodded and took in his warmth a moment longer, feeling her body relax. It made her aware how tense she was and how the emotional pain made even her body ache. "Oh what would I do without you?" She turned in his arms and looked up at him, gently touching his cheek. "Maybe be insane?" He smiles down at her. Something she didn't think she was able to at the moment happened, she laughed. "Maybe I am insane already." She smiled and kissed him. "There is a slight chance of that." He said. She heard familiar sounds down the hall. "I think we have to attend to our duties some more, my love." She cupped his face and kissed him deeply. "But thank you for making me laugh." "You should rest my love - for me. Ill take care of everything."

She leaned her head against his shoulder for a brief moment and took in his scent. Worry stirred in her again. "Are you sure you are alright?" He was so strong and yet she felt that something in him struggled. It might just be a forboding, a shadow of worry, but still it stirred in her. She looked up and sighed. "I will go to the Lady's Hall and recharge my energies." "Yes m..." He paused for a moment and nods Conans voice was able to be heard within Michaels voice. "Yes my love Im fine.... Go ahead and go to the chambers. You will need it." He kisses her lips then her neck. "Yes you will need it."

An echo of the past haunted her she thought when Michael spoke. She knew the sound like the very voice of him that he spoke with every day, but it also reminded her of the day they had first met -when he had another name, when he wasn't Michael yet. It was as if two voices spoke with one. A shiver went down her body the moment his lips touched her neck. Galatea's mind raced torn with questions. "Then I will do it, my love." She just said, trying to calm her own mind. He smiles looking at her as she goes off. "Stay out of this Conan." The voice in him started to laugh. "Sorry Michael, but you have lost." Michael felt a sharp pain in his head and blacks out standing. "Ah! It feels good to be back in my body!" An evil grin came to his lips.

Galatea went to her special halls filled for the most part with a pool instead of a regular floor. She made a step upon the perfectly smooth surface of the water, which reflected the images of nymphs and sea creatures on the walls as well as the flickering light of chandelliers. On the far side she made a step and stood at the large scenic window that looked out over their land and the ocean. She sighed and her mind raced with the question if she was now imagining things. There was only little time to ponder when Hunter came to interupt her thoughts. She walked with him and he asked her to keep his presence hidden for now. He wanted to bid his farewell to Harmony, but as usual was a young man driven by his search and anger.
All the while she kept her worries hidden from him. She had mentioned her worries about Michael's demon and now it stirred even more. For a long time now she had made up her mind that if the day should ever come then she would fight for her family, her love at whatever cost.
It was time to greet Pandora and Dementia though even if Michael had done so already she guessed. Galatea headed to the rooms that had been prepared for them.

He looks out to the world seeing the people running and working did everyone really care for this girl who had died? Conan grins and walks on with a grin. "She was your daughter too, Conan." Michael said from inside. "Yea well, last I remember my own kids tried to kill me."

Galatea was on her way to find her sister-in-law and happened to see Michael looking out of a window onto the courtyard where people were busy with their usual business or the tasks they were set to do. She gasped and again a shudder went down her body. Michael had a certain way to hold himself and especially watching over their people ever since he wasn't Conan. Now she saw another man standing there it seemed. The way he held himself was completely different and reminded her of Conan and how he had stood. She wondered if she was seeing echoes of the past and if her mind really played tricks on her.
Her husband turned and from the distance she saw the evil grin that didn't suit the man who had just been torn apart by grief over the loss of his daughter in her arms just hours ago. He seemed to speak, moving his lips, but she couldn't hear him from the distance. She wanted to turn and go, but her knees seemed too weak.

Conan had turned seeing Galatea and like the first night, he took a daughter of the sea, his eyes of want and play. He looks at her knees barely holding her up "You ok my love?" The voice made her tremble, but it were the eyes that truly forced her to steady herself with a hand on the wall for a moment. She forced herself to hold herself upright again, unable to speak for a moment. A sharp pain seemed to go through her body and she moved her hand over her belly. "My love are you ok is it the child?" He asked. She took in a deep breath and looked up at him - staring would have described it better. "It felt like being clawed from inside, but it should still be too small." She tried to understand what was happening. "Did you rest as I told you to do?" He asked looking around. Wait, why was he looking? He owned this place!

She nodded and still looked at him puzzled. "I rested as best as I could. Morgana is coming - I felt her." She still wondered how well she knew her husband at the moment, as well as why she had felt the pain running through her body. "What is happening?" She straightened and still held her hand soothingly over her belly. "You tell me whats happening?" The man who she knew as her husband asked. She looked deep into his eyes. "I wish I knew and understood what is happening... Michael?" A hint of a question swung in her voice which she had tried to hide. Conan played it off. "Maybe you need more sleep come on lets get you to bed. My sisters could wait, youre not doing well."

"Are you doing well? Will you accompany me, my love?" Galatea began to question her own mind. "Yes my love I will be with you. Ill have the servants help my sisters and tell them that you are not well," he kisses her head and walks her to the room. His lips felt the same but his voice still seemed to bring back memories of old. "My love? Would you call for your mother later? I think I need her advice - she said this child is more demonic and maybe that explains the pain." She tried to calm herself, but also wondered if Desdemona could help her solve the riddle she was faced with. She could swear her husband had changed - the way he moved, the way he spoke, even the way he looked at her with eyes bearing a hint of green. "Ill call her for you now hush and lets get you to bed." She cast her eyes down, falling silent and followed him to the room. When they arrived she looked up at him. "Please stay a while with me." "Yes my love Ill stay with you." He smiles kissing her head. "Sleep now." She laid down on the bed and held her hand out to him. "Tell me stories of our children. Good memories to help me sleep."

He takes her hand and kisses it gently while laying with her. "Well, our children are so different in many ways but yet have the same heart and do what needs to be done for themselfs and others around them. Remember the day Elpis burned Franks stuffed animal trying to wash it?" She smiled while she closed her eyes and remembered how upset Frank had been while Elpis tried to explain. "I remember it as if it was yesterday. We have been lucky with our children and I never regretted marrying you." She opened her eyes again, searching his face and eyes. "Have you?" "I never regret anything I do in life and marrying you was one of the biggest moves I will never take back." She smiled again and closed her eyes, listening closely to his voice trying to find out if she had heard echoes from the past or if she had reason to worry. She had seen Michael regretting things and this sounded so little like him. He smiles looking down at her. "Is everything fine?"

She dared to speak her mind. "You sound different."

"Your hearing things Galatea."

"Michael, what is going on?"

"What do you mean? Our daughter just died thats what happened." She sighed and nodded, tears welled up in her eyes again. "I might just well hear things and the sadness about it is playing tricks on me. It just..." She broke off and turned away from him. In a quiet whisper she added. "It just seems the circumstance that she died has brought something out. Or maybe it killed something else too." He smiles looking down at her rubbing her arms. "Im sorry."

"What are you sorry about, my love?" She asked, still trying to understand if she was hearing things or if there truly had been a change in him. "For snapping like that" he kisses her neck. "Let your husband Co....Michael take care of you."

She noticed the pause and turned around to face him abruptly. She simply looked into his eyes and ran her hand over his cheek. He leans down and kisses her lips. "Its like you seen a ghost." She knew the kiss, the way his lips felt, still something lingered in there. "Something I thought had changed rather. An echo of the past. I thought after all those years I knew my husband inside out." His lips are inches from hers as he whisper. "I never left... Michael cant hold me back." His lips invited her - lips that she had kissed a thousand times in love, passion, happiness, sadness and even anger. It was the voice and tone that made her head spin. "Conan?" She looked deep into his eyes. "Conan was reborn as Michael." She whispered with a shaking voice full of questions.

"I wasnt reborn I was held back from becoming stronger..." He holds her by her neck. "Besides you had my first child not Michaels."

"You were you are one with him." She trembled, remembering their first times. "Elpis - she has your heart beating as hers.  But other than with her or Harmony - I don't know the gender of this child." She kept staring into his eyes.

"Harmony was Michaels, Elpis is mine." He looks at her rising his brow.

"I don't..." She stammered as her head spun from what happened and his lips being so close. "understand. Conan and Michael... My husband... you are one." She couldn't breathe it seemed. "Conan and Michael were always one since you changed - one in body and never have you claimed one child to be of one or the other. Never seperated our memories to be either these or those."

"We are not the same, Michael is an angel, Im a demon. Ive been asleep for so long that I finally woke up and want to take back whats mine. Same body but different DNA why do you think Elpis and Harmony are so different?"

"Because all children are different. They shared that they united fire and water." She trembled. "All these years you have been angel and demon, don't tell me you haven't been." There was the rebellious spark in her again that woke more and more often with the caged anger rattling free from thousands of years of being chained as a tribute to the Olympians. "Michael? Conan? Who have I married? I married a man who united angel and demon."

"Michael has my memory.... Lets see theres two men in one body." He looks at her hearing a knock at the door. "Leave us!" He smiles again when the knocking stops and looks down at her. "Calm that rage Galatea, its bad enough Im sharing my woman with the angel."

Her head was spinning and it seemed his voice and her anger triggered something again. She flinched and felt the sharp ripping pain in her belly again. "I don't know what to think anymore." She winced and gripped his shirt, ripping it when another sharp pain went through her body. "The child feels its father." He lays his hand on her stomach.

"Then tell it to stop ripping me apart from inside out." She growled at him.

"Its not, Its you." He looks at her. "Youre scared that Im back. Youre lost."

She gasped and stared at him. "I'm confused. What was I having all these years? A marriage with whom? What do you feel for me?" He smiles looking at her. "Well, we both feel the same for you," he licks her neck.  She trembled and took in a deep breath when he licked her neck. "I just lost a child, I don't want to lose my husband or worse - my family." As if in reflex to all the times his body had touched her she touched his bare chest, where she just had torn the shirt off from. She felt the scar over his left side, slowly tracing it. "The only reason Im still able to live is because of Elpis, who has my heart. While she lives so do I," he growls down at her and roughly kisses her. "And Im not sharing my women with any man. Ill kill Michael if I need too."

She felt the force of his kiss, it was more a possesive kiss than a loving one. She felt how her body was pulled to him, pressing her hand firmer onto the scar. She knew he was right - Elpis was safe- for now. In a moment when she breathlessly came clear of his lips she whispered. "From what you said you have both shared me all these years." She didn't know why she said it or even what it would trigger, but it felt like she was losing the life and the husband she had for all these years, who she had raised a family with. "You had no clue how many times I tried to stop him. How many times I wanted to end him -  but the more you worshiped him the stronger he got... Only one will have you its either your husband or me because you married Michael after the trails."

She felt like she herself was about to be torn in two. She leaned her head against his forehead and breathed heavy. "Loved... loved you both like one because you were one, Conan. Love not worship." She was torn and memories twirled through her mind, her whole life seemed to fall apart. Loss after loss seemed to end and everything she had believed to be true fell apart.

"Where is Michael now?"

"Trying to fight his way out to save his wife from me." He looks down at her ripping up her dress from her breast and bites down on her neck not cutting her just enough to mark her.

"If you feel the same for me, then does he have to save me?" She felt weak, in pain and more vulnerable than ever. Her head was spinning and it seemed sadness, confussion and emotional turmoil sapped her strength completely.

"Im a barbarian you think I care? Michael cares more for you than I do... We arent the same I almost killed you when I I! Made this child growing in you! I was so close in killing you but Michael held me back." He growls, ripping the rest of her dress, leaving her naked. "Dont you get it? Michael came into my body, he took over what was mine...."

"Then you don't feel the same for me. You lied when we first met. Or you are not who you claim to be." Her voice was flat and weak. "If you kill me now then you will kill your child. Do you want to add us to your list? Was it Michael saving your own family from you?" She closed her eyes, waiting for the blow she expected.

He growls looking at her. "You have no idea how it was when I ended their lives." He touched her lips with his thumb. "It was fun... Hearing my wife begging me to stop when she watched me kill both my sons... When I had her tied up forcing her to watch when I ravaged my daughter over and over, then snapping her neck..." He leans down to her ear. "Then when I took my wife slowly over and over till she finally bleed out."

"Then you aren't the man haunted by the memory of just that, whose daughter was able to hurt him so deeply just by mentioning his past." She was unsure what he would do now, if she would find herself where Harmony was at soon. "At least I will see my daughter again if you care so little for what you had all these years."

"Hahaha I only had you for a few nights and made a daughter...." He stops feeling pain in his head. "Shut up Michael!"

She opened her eyes, looking at him. The deep blue trying to penetrate through his very eyes. "I know now why I don't know what the child in me is..." Her hands reached up, cupping his face, pulling him close, her lips close to his. She knew she would be making a sacrifice now, but she had no other choice. "Michael, I know now." One eye turned blue the other eye was green as they look at her. "No Michael you wont win this one." He growls now both eyes back to green and Conan smiles. "Now what is my child?" He licks her lips.

For a moment it seemed she was getting somewhere, but she had found a way to get through - to them both. "Yes, your child - Elpis carries your heart. Without it she wouldn't have one and she wouldn't be the loving woman she is. This one..." she kissed him and ran her fingers over his face. Her mind was made up. "What would you give this child to make it complete? Because it is missing something yet."

"I gave it something, giving it life. What else does it want?" Conan had anger in his voice now.

"I would give it my love." Another voice broke through Michaels voice came through.

"No it gets nothing!" Conans neck snaps to the side then to the other when his eyes are dark green, he grins kissing Galatea once more.

She ran her hands through his hair. "Conan, I loved you the moment we met on the beach, the night we made Elpis. You promised me she would love me with your heart. You promised to make me your wife and respect me. And I love you still." She kissed him softly, her voice a soothing whisper. She wove her magic best she could in her weak state, ready to make her sacrifice. "Your child has no soul yet. You know I will always love you, even if you are not my husband. Michael is my husband. Would you really be happy to make me your wife?"

"I dont worry women that are married" He growls. "Ive been out of the game and came back, just to make this child, but as I think of it now Ill take over the child and send myself in there." He grins. "Oh the fun it will be to grow up again."

"You will be free and I will always be a part of you, like you are a part of me. I said I will always love you and that I will do - but not as your wife, Conan." She kissed his lips and almost smiled.

He growls down at her kissing her deeply moving down to her neck opening her legs. She answered his kiss deeply too, giving in to him. Her legs parted on the silken sheets, strewn with their torn clothes. Galatea moaned when she felt his lips on her neck and arched up against him, grabbing the sheets with one hand, grabbing him by the back of his neck with the other.

He pulls away gently looking down at her his eyes blue like the ocean. "My love are you ok?" She nodded and smiled at him. "Yes, my love. I am ok." She pulled him closer and kissed his lips. "Michael, I love you." "And I love you my love." He smiles kissing her deeply holding her close. "I couldnt beat him without you."

"He has entered the child now. Do you think he is in there?" She trembled in his arms, wrapping her arms around him. She was still turmoiled and shaken. She looked into her husband's eyes, looked deep into them to search for who she lay with now. "Hes gone I dont feel him here." She placed her hand over her stomach. "Then I guess he found his way in." Galatea lost herself in Michael's arms and a tear came to her eyes. Her body felt cold and shaking, the taste of salt lingered on her lips from the tears that began breaking free. Michael still held her close, lying between her legs.

"Can you love him as your child?" She looked into his eyes and kissed him. He shook his head. But I will treat him no different. Her husband was back and she would need to speak to Desdemona soon. A son was growing inside of her now a son who was his own father, who had two mothers.

Hy-Brasil (ruled by Michael and Galatea Lust)

Hy-Brasil (ruled by Michael and Galatea Lust)
Category: Uncategorized

Welcome to Hy-Brasil

Geography: Hy-Brasil is situated west of the Southern part of Ireland. Tales and legend has it that the island can be found sailing west from the Ring of Kerry or Galway. Old maps depict the island as a small circular island that is parted by a big river. Shallow-water shells have been found at Porcupine Bank, somewhat northwest of the most likely location of Hy-Brasil. Even further north, similar shells were discovered at Rockhall. So, there is evidence of land mass changes in that part of the Atlantic Ocean. The most distinctive geographical feature of Hy-Brasil is that it appears on maps as a perfect circle, with a semi-circular channel through the center.

The river parting the Western and Eastern part of Hy-Brasil is called the Black River due to the black and red sands that the rivers carry from flowing through certain areas of Hy-Brasil. It’s origin are a multitude of fresh water springs situated on the North Eastern and Western side of the island, where they flow down to the ocean, carrying fertile red sand with them. They mix with sea water and the water of many hot springs that form a flat, volcanic area towards the North. Here the black volcanic ashes and ground is eroded. The red and black sands are very fertile which might explain the lush and overwhelming amount of flowers, trees and crops on the island. That led to the name the Blessed Isle too.

Where the waters running from the Northern hills meet the volcanic area lots of geysers and hot springs add to the mythical mist that hides the island from unfriendly eyes and unwelcome visitors. Partially the hot springs are fed by fresh water and ocean water, due to the cavern beneath this part of the island. It is speculated that the volcanic activity of the island as well as the climate change over the eons caused the rise and fall of the island, but the constant shroud of mist hiding the island against the horizon more than likely is the main reason why Hy-Brasil has not been discovered more often by passing sailors from the main European continent.

The Western and Eastern coast alike are characterized by steep falling cliffs. The Western shore falls towards the Black River, which means that this area receives a lot of rain and holds the most fertile farmlands of the island.

The Eastern coast rises steep from the ocean and is unfriendly to approach. On its far Southern peak a watchtower guides the way into the calm and shallow waters of the mouth of the Black River and the largest harbor of Hy-Brasil. Despite the height of the Eastern plateau springs can be found here that feed a few lakes and smaller rivers that cascade down the Eastern cliffs at some places. Where these waterfalls and the rough ocean currents meet vapor rises also, which adds to the distinct fog shrouding the island.

Upon the Eastern shore of the Black River lies also the largest city of Hy-Brasil, Cimeria, just below the Watchtower and not far from the friendly beaches of the Southern coast of Hy-Brasil.

Climate/Ecology: The climate of Hy-Brasil lacks seasons for the most part even though it could well be described as oceanic. The Gulf Stream carries warm waters past the Eastern and Southern coast and the volcanic activity in the North ensures a steady mild climate.

The summers in Hy-Brasil are mild, rarely hot and it rains regularly. Spring and fall seem to lack completely. Winters can be cool, but usually lack frost and snow. Only the highest point and most Northern regions know snowfall, which doesn’t cover the ground for long though. Winters can be very rainy though.

Due to the mild climate, fertile grounds and consistent amount of rain the island the vegetation is evergreen and trees as well as flowers steadily bear blossoms and fruit at the same time. This caused many of the legendary tales that the trees of Hy-Brasil were ever in blossom and the flowers carried jewels.

Farmlands produce crops all year round and livestock grows fat and healthy on the evergreen pastures of the lands.

Upon the cliffs of the Eastern and Western coast many seabirds breed. The waters around Hy-Brasil strive from the constant flow of small organisms that live in the Gulf Stream, so the waters are full of fish. A curiosity is the high amount of cetae living in Hy-Brasil’s waters, which is likely due to the Lady of Hy-Brasil as well as the so called “Daughters of Hy-Brasil”.

Economy: The inhabitants of Hy-Brasil are mostly farmers and fishermen, although everyone in Hy-Brasil shows hospitality to the guests coming to the island. The larger settlements house lots of training facilities as well as accommodations for those coming to the island for rest, retreat and recovery.

Main source of income export in Hy-Brasil are the trade of seafood, crops and livestock, but also medical care, wellness and physical training. Guano and seabird feathers are another trade item of the island. A mild form of tourism adds to the income. Indeed some of the trees of Hy-Brasil produce gem like fruit that are sold for making jewelry and glassware. Silver and gold are found in the Black River and in the caverns below the islands formed by volcanic activity; both metals are traded too, but also source of the wealth of even common people.

Due to the wealth of goods and food the inhabitants of Hy-Brasil enjoy culture and education so that even the simple farmer has access and time to education. The school system consists of a primary school, which takes care of smaller children from age 5 to 12 and is followed by secondary education from 13 to 16. After that the most skilled students can join the Council of the Wise and become learners of lore there.

Overall the people of Hy-Brasil are relaxed and open minded to all visitors, no matter their origin and nature. Therefore population consists of all sorts of species from demonic realms to heavens, but mostly simply people whose decent is from Atlantis, Avalon and the European continent.

Government: Hy-Brasil is ruled by the Lord and Lady of Hy-Brasil, Michael and Galatea Lust. A small of group of advisors and elders from the settlements on Hy-Brasil give council to the family. As the island is rather small and has only few inhabitants there is no need for a larger council.

In Cimeria however sits the council of the wise, which takes care of the schools and tends to the libraries of the island as well as medical research. Their medical masters offer their aid to everyone in Hy-Brasil, receiving their pay from the gathered taxes.

The capitol also holds the largest training facility of the island, famed for the excellent training of warriors. The guards trained there are directly commanded by the Lord of Hy-Brasil or his son. The best fighters and warriors, that have proven their worth in the guard, are then called to the “Round Table of KOED”, making them knights of the realm.

The “Daughters of Hy-Brasil” take care of different aspects and regions of the island, depending on their skills and preferences. They all serve the Lord and Lady as councilors and bring word from their region to court, tending to the matters of each region as a guardian and councilor.

Religion: Due to the variety of inhabitants there are several temples that are taken care of by the “Daughters of Hy-Brasil”.  Just outside of Cimeria a temple can be found that serves the worship of water deities, including the Lady of Hy-Brasil.

History: The island has been visited by many people for centuries. Both Saint Barrind and Saint Brendan found the island on their respective voyages, and returned home with nearly identical descriptions of Hy-Brasil, which they dubbed the “Promised Land.” One of the most famous visits to Hy-Brasil was in 1674 by Captain John Nisbet of Killybegs, Co. Donegal, Ireland. He and his crew were in familiar waters west of Ireland, when a fog came up. As the fog lifted, the ship was dangerously close to rocks. While getting their bearings, the ship anchored in three fathoms of water, and four crew members rowed ashore to visit Hy-Brasil. They spent a day on the island, and returned with silver and gold given to them by an old man who lived there. Upon the return of the crew to Ireland, a second ship set out under the command of Alexander Johnson. They, too, found the hospitable island of Hy-Brasil and returned to Ireland to confirm the tales of Captain Nisbet and crew. The last documented sighting of Hy-Brasil was in 1872, when author T. J. Westropp and several companions saw the island appear and then vanish. This was Mr. Westropp’s third view of Hy-Brasil, but on this voyage he had brought his mother and some friends to verify the existence of Hy-Brasil.

The island was said to rise from the ocean or be revealed from the fog shrouding it every seven years. It did indeed rise from the ocean before Michael and Galatea took rule over the island. Since then only the fog has shrouded the island from view, although it is lifted at need whenever expected visitors approach.

A Tale of Time - for my husband, children, family and friends

The oldest stories ever told are written in the stars. Stories of time before men and gods when titans ruled the earth. The titans were powerful but their reign was ended by their own sons – Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. Zeus became king of the heavens, Poseidons king of the seas, Hades ruled the underworld in darkness in misery.

This is where my life began – this is where my story continued. I – Galatea – daughter of titans and of all that is the sea, one of 50 daughters. I was a young Nereid when the war began and my doom  was sealed.

Oceanus, my grandfather, didn’t side with the other Titans, just as he had not revolted against Uranus. Zeus’ wrath was calmed by such pity and he covered the whole sky with clouds and flooded the earth.

My doom was sealed in the War of Titans, the Titanomachy by my father Nereus.

My father inherited that gentle soul - never telling lies and gifted with prophecy he sided with the Olympians in the war against titans, fighting giants.

But as with all titans a more subtle chain and shackle was wrought.

We all had the power to soothe Poseidon’s wrath and grant mercy on sailors in the storm. Sometimes that mercy was death, sometimes it was the safety of shore – but sailors prayed to us in the storm if they were wise enough.

His son, Polyphemus the cyclop, then cast his eye upon mean and I was wed to him. It was one of my duties to guard his herds and he played his flute for me. I was flattered by such attention, even though he was ugly – he was Poseidon’s son and he tried his best.

But beside all of Cupid’s tricks and Polyphemus sweet tunes, the desire for another stirred.

I fled from Polyphemus, breaking the bond of marriage like he had broken my lover’s body,  and shed no tear when he lost his eye by the cunning of Odysseus.

Poseidon’s spell was still fully upon me and I willingly worshipped him, unknowing of his jealousy for his own son. For the deadly fury that wouldn’t stop at even gettomg rid of Polyphemus to have me, I only knew I was just one among many. I knew no better than to feel precious when a god turned his attention my way.

And even this seems like another life – Poseidon, Polyphemus, Acis… waters have run down that river aplenty and the pebbles on the beach have turned to sand ever since.

He saw me bathing in moonlight and the river’s water. He was the first who saw more in me than a toy, a pleasant worshipper, a past time and adventure, I wasn’t his student nor his teacher, for him I was a woman and more importantly – his woman.

Michael took me away to his mother’s kingdom and he gave me the greatest give he could give my life truly began.  He made me his wife, his queen, mother to his children and he became my fire. He brought me home to a home that I didn’t know I had. He brought me to Hy-Brasil, where my “children” gathered and many followers of his mother’s kingdom. In Hy-Brasil our children were born: Elpis, Harmony, Desideria and April. In Hy-Brasil we took in our sons: Frank and Oliver.

My darkest hours I faced here with only one lighthouse to guide me home – my husband.

Is this where my story ends? No it isn’t. Things and tides may change, but I still love my husband and the family he gave me. I still am not done becoming the goddess that I can be. My story is not over and it won’t be for a very long time. The oldest stories are written in the stars. Stories of time of man and gods, when some titans broke their chains.
