The Ancients knew that when Misty was born that she was special and must be protected. Some speculated that she was the offspring of Goddess Danu and others thought it must have been Hecate. Still some said it was Goddess Diana. In any case her exact moment of birth has long been lost as well as the true story behind her birth and who her parents were. A binding protection spell was placed upon her that no mortal or immortal would be able to break. It gave her the ability to withstand any enemy, spell or weapon but also a life that seemed to never age. It also effected her mind in that she could see into the future, have visions of the past and control elements such as fire, lightning, fog, water and wind. It has always given her the ability to cloud minds at will, to morph her own body and looks as well. She has chosen to use her powers for good, though many forces tried to steal them for their own her will was much stronger than any of theirs.
Much of her past is guarded and held in secret. She likes to keep it that way, preferring to give the outward appearance of a normal mortal for the most part and live in the modern age.
She has gained a huge fortune over the eons but kept it locked away like most of her powers. She bought a small curio shop that sells amulets and crystals as well roots and herbs and other earthly material. She is known through the wiccan circles as one who can be trusted and often will help those in need. She also sells ancient hard to find manuscripts in a secret room in her little shop. She lives quietly alone for the most part but has many lovers and those who crave her attention, time and fleshly affections.
One of the side effects of her binding spell that has kept her alive all these years is her heightened senses. Much like a vampire, she has acute hearing, site and smell as well as just knowing when something is going on, or premonitions as they call them which has served to help protect her and to keep her out of danger. You don't live for as many eons as she has without such.
While she can play the part of the sweet innocent she is far from weak. Her will is stronger than any man or woman, any king, any being that has come into her orbit. She can be a formable enemy if needed but prefers a life of joy, love and pleasure.
