The Past
Billy Loomis was born on Nov 20, 1978 to Nancy and Hank Loomis. His father had an affair, causing his mom to leave them. Billy was torn after the separation. He started dating Sidney Prescott, and while they were together, he found out that his dad had the affair with her mom. A man by the name of Roman Bridge, told him that he should kill her mother because she was the reason Nancy left, but to get an accomplice to pin the murder wrong in case it went south, but it worked out perfectly!
Billy named Stu Macher his accomplice, as they caused a path of bloodshed across Woodsboro, starting with Casey Becker and her boyfriend, Steven. Billy and Stu decide to make Sidney their next target. Billy calls Sidney from a cloned cell phone, as Stu attacks her. When he climbs into her window to "comfort" her, the phone drops from his pocket as she thinks that it was him who attacked her. The police arrest him, taking him to the precinct to question him.
After spending the night in jail, Billy is released after learning that it was not him who called Sidney that night. Everyone starts to distance themselves from him, not sure if they could trust him. The night of the party at Stu's house, Billy is not invited, but he makes his presence known in the Ghostface costume, as well as Stu. They kill Tatum in the garage as she is getting beer. As Sidney is calling for her, he pops into the doorway, asking if he could talk to her in private. They go up to a bedroom and have a "heart to heart" talk. It soon leads them to having sex, while the rest of the party goers find out that the principal at the school has been killed, and leave the party.
Ghostface appears and presumably stabs Billy, "killing" him. After Sidney is chased downstairs by Ghostface, Billy soon follows, falling down the stairs, fatally wounded. He's helped up by Sidney, but soon, it is revealed that both him and Stu were the masterminds behind the killings, telling her their motive for targeting her. Gale Weathers comes in and intervenes, pointing the gun at Billy, but realizes the safety's on. He knocks her out and is fixing to kill her, when Stu tells him that Sidney's gone. He gets a call from her on the cloned phone, telling him that she's already called the police and is hiding. Hearing noises, he opens a door to reveal her in the Ghostface costume, stabbing him in the chest with an umbrella. Stu battles Sidney as she kills him, then is strangled by Billy. She sticks her finger into one of his bullet holes, as this angers him. He raises the knife to stab her, but is then shot by Gale. He falls limp to the ground. After a few momnents of him not moving, they are convinced that he is dead.
The Present
After the massacre in Woodsboro, and it seeming like Billy was dead, he opened his eyes and looked around. Sidney had left with Gale and Randy to the hospital to get help. He winced at his wounds as he sat up and looked around. He then crawled over to a sturdy structure, holding it to pull himself up. He looked around the house, seeing all the damage him and Stu had caused. Hobbling into the living room, he saw Stu's dead body lying on the floor, the TV on his head. He cursed out loud as he turned and made his way outside, slamming the door behind him. He got into his car and turned it on, pulling out of the driveway. He needed to get out of Woodsboro so that the cops wouldn't find him.
A couple of days of driving, found Billy in a small town in California, far away from Woodsboro. The drive allowed him to clear his mind as he stopped by a Urgent Care clinic to get his wounds attended to. When the doctor asked him what happened, he lied and said that he got into a bad scuffle with a friend that ended in gunfire. After they patched him up. he went to a clothing store and got a brand new outfit to wear so that he could get rid of his bloody clothes. Billy also decided to change his looks, including cutting his hair short and dying it dark brown. He was also starting to form a five o'clock shadow, which he let grow into a full moustache and goatee, making him look older.
The years passed by as he wondered how everyone in Woodsboro was holding up after what happened all those years ago. He decided to make the trip back to his stomping grounds and see how the place had changed. While roaming around town, he was surprised that no one had recognized him yet, although, most of the faces he saw were unfamiliar to him as well...except one. Standing there, he was face to face with Christina Carpenter, a woman he had slept with in high school while he was still dating Sidney. Upon talking to her, he found out that she had given birth to a girl named Samantha, and that she was his daughter. The news struck him as a surprise, but he was sort of happy to know that he had an offspring. Billy was a little wary though, because of his past, he wondered if he had passed anything onto her in that matter. But, even if he did, he would make sure that his daughter wouldn't make the same mistakes he did. Also, upon his return, he ran into his brother, Alex, that no one, but him, knew he had.
When he found out that the sheriff of Woodsboro, Dewey Riley, had been killed by Ghostface, and that they were looking for a new sheriff to take over, Christina suggested that he take the job. After the interview, he was hired on the spot, becoming the new Sheriff of Woodsboro. He hopes that another Ghostface won't turn up, or another massacre happen, but he'll soon realize that his past is about to rear its ugly head again...but it'll be someone he'll least expect.
