Demon and Goddess - that is the union which brought April Lust to life. She grew in times of trouble in her mother′s womb and like her mother′s moods her temper is like the changing seasons. April showers follow sunshine, she lets flowers bloom and crushes them with a cold gaze.
April′s attention can swiftly be drawn to new things just as her temper can change from sweet to cold, from laughing to crying. She loves her family and she has a hard time if anyone in her family rejects her or if the love she shows is denied. There are only a few people and things that seem to work like a counterweight or control mechanism to her ever changing moods and interests.
When she meets Nic, her cousin, she is instantly intrigued although he seems cold and arrogant at first. His controlled appearance is a challenge to her at first, but she grows closer and closer to him, until she realises that she has fallen in love with him. Even in his presence her moods and tempers change often, but he is her rock. With him she is the calmed, tamed, yet still wild beast. She trusts him completely, maybe even more than she would trust herself or than he would trust himself.

April governs and protects the Western region of Hy-Brasil as one of the "Daughters of Hy-Brasil".
The region falls towards the Black river, which parts the island in the middle, from sheer falling cliffs to the far West. It is famous for regular rainfall and exceptional fertility. Rain and sunshine seem to change just like April′s moods.

MY PARENTS Galatea & Michael LUST
Michael Lust - demon, angel and my father. He tought her a lot and she considers herself "daddy′s little girl". Fire is his element.
Galatea Lust - nymph, Goddess of Calm Waters. Her element is water. Both parents have great sexual appetite, which April inherited, although she takes after the demon side more than the soft and caring nymph side of her mother.

THE LOVE Nicolaes LUST
April finally found a harbor in the storm of her emotions, moods and feelings - her half-brother, Nicolaes.
Although his demeanor can seem arrogant, cold and distant, or plain that of a lady′s man, she looks beyond it. She is his opposite in many ways: he is controlled where she loses control, just to name one thing. In him she found unconditional love, because he is willing to love her the way she is and leave her untamed - which is likely the best way to tame her.
Together they face his curse - never knowing how long they have together. But he has walked through an open door into her heart and she doesn′t feel complete without him. April considers Nic the best thing that has ever happened to her.

DAUGHTER Candy Sioux LUST
Candy Sioux Lust, is April′s and Nicolaes′ first daughter.
Candy is effected by the same curse Nicolaes suffers from, but she has never had to fear for her life as he did, because April took a potion brewed by her grandmother, Desdemona, which contained living souls. The souls keep Candy alive and well, although she has the same issues with feeding on blood as her father.
She is a temperamental, sweet little spirit and only time will tell what she will grow up to be.

SISTER Elpis LUST
Elpis Lust is my oldest sister - actually the only sister still alive or not lost. April thinks her sister is strange for just wanting to have sex with one man.
Her other two sisters, Harmony and Desideria, are no longer among us. So Elpis and April are the only remaining "Daughters of Hy-Brasil" so far.
Elpis was also married to Frank Lust, their brother. The union brought forth Ricard Lust, April′s nephew, best friend and former lover.

BROTHER Logan LUST
Logan is the youngest child of Michael and Galatea so far. He is their only true born son. This makes him April′s baby brother and the youngest of the Lust children.
He was conceived when Galatea was mortal and grew up rapidly. He seems to be uncertain of what he wants or who he is yet, also of how well he fits into the line of men in the family. But April likes her baby brother just because of that.

BROTHER/UNCLE Conan LUST
Likely the most trying relationship is that to April′s brother and uncle.
Actually Conan is Michael′s twin, who shared a body with him. Then he tried to take over and Galatea sacrificed the spirit of her unborn to house Conan. Conan was born as twin to Desideria, the lost sister.
He views himself solely as April′s uncle. She views him as interesting entertainment.
